Great info. I have a 4 stroke 40hp with the middle car leaking..most likely gummed up float..was wondering if a few tanks of gas with sea foam added might get me through the season..any thoughts..will def refer to your vid for tear down..well done and many thanks
nice these carbs are the same that are on the Honda fax 49 cc. it seems they use them on lots of applications. I watched this because . I just cleaned on of mine carbs out on a 49 cc Chinese replica which is the huashung 142f clone. it's about 150 bucks cheaper and is the same thing as Honda except that the factory standards are a little lax. as far a cables being too tight. bolt loose ect. but if your handy that's no big deal. anywho the carb is the same except that Hondas have more brass parts.... anyway after cleaning my carb it was doing the same thing leaking outta the relief valve. Iam hoping I didn't damage the little float needle because I kinda did use alot of carb cleaner. anyway thanks for the help because I was sure where that valve flowed from now I know. alot of people witch gas scooter could use this a reference. cool video I love how they use 3 carbs that they use on there 50 cc 4 strokes( the Honda is 50 cc) the clone is 49cc for legal reasons.) raid use with out licence.
First. Thanks very much for posting this. Very useful!! I have a Honda 50 HP outboard leaking fuel out a tube near the bottom of the lowest carb. I think a float is likely stuck open, but I'm a little unsure because in your case the fuel came out the carb overflow port. If I squeeze the ball in the fuel line, I see fuel come out the tube. Other than dumping fuel, the engine actually starts and runs fine. But obviously whatever is wrong need to be fixed. I'm curious in your case did you see fuel out the hose (shown at 4:14 in your vid)?
Dude . Need your comments . My engine is having a problem , if I go full throttle , it will turn off . So I go with only half throttle and it runs fine . When I reached my fishing spot and turn the gear to neutral . The engine shuts down after 5 minutes and it is really hard to start after that . Is is because of overflow in carburetor ?

Quick question. The two clear (yellowish) hoses from the one carb, what are they and where do they connect to? Mine disconnected.
