Truth is, looking back after AI invalidates our current system, we'll wonder why we ever twisted the reasoning to justify how we've been doing things as being positive. Yes, AI is going to out compete the vast majority of all workers, we cannot stop it! So guess what, our only option is to figure out how we'll adapt. People are driven to find productive things to do, meaningful ways to help their family and community. They'll find new forms of "work" that will be far more fulfilling than what we're forced to do today, just to survive! The problem is capitalism, and how we justify distributing basic resources to people. AI will force us to change that, as the alternative will be FAR worse.

Actually, they do, but instead of calling it a "sick day" we call it a "breakdown" or "failure".
      "require a vacation"
Again, instead of calling it a "vacation", we call it "preventative maintenance", "upgrades", "overhauls", or "repairs".
      "need to be paid"
No, but the company that makes them demands payment. Also the parts that have be routinely replaced, maintained, or updated aren't free. And many software companies nowadays have moved to a subscription based business model, this is especially true of AI. So, in a way, the do need to be paid.
      " don't need health insurance"
Well, they do need people to work on and maintain them and those people get paid very well.
"don't require bathroom or even lunch breaks, and can work 24 hours a day."
But again, they do have to go down for updates and maintenance from time to time. Usually, this is planned, but sometimes it isn't.
