    Saying that "black people" should be offended using the term slave trade is such a racist thing to say. It insinuates that slavery is specifically a black issue.

      Vegan Marshall the african american slavery was the greatest forced immigration in human history and when talking about slavery it is automatically linked to that.

      I'm multiracial (half black, but most people don't recognize that...).
      *ACKNOWLEDGING ANIMAL SLAVERY DOES NOT TAKE AWAY FROM WHAT HAPPENED DURING CHATTEL SLAVERY.* This isn't a hard concept. People are willfully obtuse.

      Miss G I am fully black and still I think these comparisons have to stop. There are parallels but the reasons are different and not comparable and insensitive to victims involved. Second of all but most importantly it triggers ptsd for poc and other oppressed people. It is an ignorant comparison since human oppression mostly is not only a past event but still affects the present and most activists misuse human suffering for their inconsistent, „animals only“ activism. Not cool at all. They mostly don‘t care at all about animal liberation but only „nonhuman“ animal liberation which is inconsistent and ignorant af.

    I think she has the wrong idea of aggressive.. I think passionate is a more appropriate word for the way he comes across to people. You can feel the flame of passion inside of him when he talks about defending animals, living a vegan lifestyle, etc. And he's right.. you can't beat around the bush with these topics because that's when people start to defend their actions by saying they care about animals. Joey lays down the law & exploits the animal industry for what it is... slave trade, rape, and murder.

      What was aggressive was we had a memorial skeet shoot and BBQ yesterday. Our local vegan/animal rights group came to the club and started a so called debate with us. We weren't doing anything to them. But one of them lives right down the road from the club and it must have been the smell of the beef ribs we were smoking must have offended them. We kept asking them nicely to leave that it was a private party. We finally had to call the police to make them leave.

    • @daveray5655
      @daveray5655 5 лет назад +2

      @Chum 420 I was born into a family which forced me to eat animal products. I was told I needed animals products to be healthy. I was told I'm not a man of God by my entire community for not eating animal products. I was accused of abusing my kids for not feeding them animal products. I was taught to mock vegans and believe they were evil and weak. My family taught I was insane when I went Vegan. I faced discrimination in my first job interview when I refused to wear leather shoes.
      My whole life I have to see animal products at stores and be constantly reminded that animals die for no good reason.
      I was judged and harassed for my lifestyle by Carnists. You people force your lies and propogada into my life every day. Even now I can't watch a vegan video without someone questioning my choices. Screw off

    • @daveray5655
      @daveray5655 5 лет назад +1

      @Chum 420
      I don't know where you got in your head that vegans want farmers to be homeless, I grew up in a family that came from farming. I've been in every kind of farm and seen slaughterhouses in operation. I wouldn't want people like my family to be homeless, rather what I do want to change is what farmers produce. The government gives the animal agriculture subsidies to make meat and dairy cheaper so why not apply that to fruits and veggies instead. I want farmers to change what they produce not get a different job.
      It's not my fault I live in a world with no vegan-only stores. Ever since I moved to the city I have to see it, it's forced on me regardless of my beliefs.
      I also find it quite rude that you would assume I need medical help, you are the last person who should be judging or advising me on my mental health. Before I went to law school I majored in psychology with a minor in sociology so I think I'm qualified to say that I'm not suffering from a mental health issue. Please stop assuming things about me or others with my beliefs and questioning us for it. We encourage positive conversation but don't fancy ungrounded accusations and harassment.

    • @WarningGamesTMC
      @WarningGamesTMC 5 лет назад +15

      @Captain Reset Many problems with your statement.
      1 - You first imply that vegans are the only ones who eat avacados, which is false.
      2 - Over 80% of amazon deforestation is due to animal agriculture, not plants.
      3 - Steven Crowder is anti-scientific moron who states that it's virtually impossible for heterosexuals to contract AIDS which is factually inaccurate; he was completely destroyed and debunked in VeganGains' rebuttal to his bullshit.
      4 - Comparing protein is a very weak comparison as crops such as grains have nowhere near the amount of protein than meat products do; the real truth is if you compare by CALORIES how much animals die in farming then animal agriculture is responsible for a significantly higher proportion of animal deaths than plants.
      5 - The idea that animal agriculture kills less animals is factually incorrect by simple common sense. If you're a meat-eater you are killing significantly more animals in crop deaths in the first place since as well as over 70% of grains produced in the United States goes to animal agriculture and 90% of soybeans also go to that cause and to my knowledge a significant proportion of corn also goes to animal agriculture. So you are killing not only more animals that way but then you go on to kill the animals that were fed all of those grains/corn/soy. Whilst even if a vegan were to eat slightly more vegetables in their diet than a non-vegan, they still wouldn't compare to the amount of animals that die as a result of animal agriculture. To sum this one up: vegans eat only plants, whilst you eat both plants and animals and more animals died as a result of the animals you eat.
      6 - All sensible vegans understand that not all suffering can be eliminated, which is why the goal is to reduce as much of it as possible. Even if 10 birds or mice are killed hypothetically by farming plants if people were vegan, then it is justified since we must eat plants and that is obviously better than 200 or so (once again, hypothetically/this is an example) birds/mice etc. getting killed to feed mass-bred animals to fatten them up and then cause more unnecessary suffering by then killing them too.

      @Captain Reset pathetic hahah first name thousands of "arguments" against veganism and after they tell you no one of them is true say "no one cares". Well then tell me why day to day there are more vegans and vegatarians? 1 month ago I was a meat eater just like you (and I ate a lot of meat) but then I saw the truth behind food industry (a documentary) , and it's horrifying and at the beginning I was like you, I didn't understand vegans etc but after this documentary I didn't want to eat anything that comes from a animal. And ethical reasons are not the only ones, being vegan has also an impact on climate change, since animal agriculture is on of the most important reasons for climate change (but no one wants to say) and if there would be any animal farms, the world hunger would be solved (If u dont believe me just research). Also is veganism very healthy for your body, I feel better than I never felt and I have a lot more power, and anyone who went vegan too. So please don't tell us no one cares cause its not true. Since 2018 over 4 friends and people I know went vegan and vegetarians (logically they were meat eaters before) and that's just me and this year.

    What's so hard to understand that supply & demand has nothing to do with the potential hurt feelings of farmers over semantics? And why are people SO offended to be compared to an animal? All farm creatures are gentle, loyal, love their families, respond to compassion, grateful for kindness -- so much more noble than those enslaving and killing them for money. I'd say it's an honor to be compared to an animal! Mic drop after Joey's description of dairy farmers...

    Very good points. I'd say it is primarily the responsibility of the farmers to either change or we simply take over the means of food production, because much 'demand' is actually created by the suppliers / producers. If it's being done, they'll have a market for it. Folks will buy it, or the ones doing it will simply sell or exchange amongst themselves on more private terms (the way the human sex trafficking is conducted).
    The idea of the consumer having the power is flawed. It's in the hands of the producers. If folks don't buy the animals can and do still get enslaved and slaughtered, but go to waste, and the industry gets tax write offs, similar to say big home improvement stores that profit from returns that just get thrown in the landfills. It's important to have the intention of completing taking over the economy and implementing a different way from the supplier / producer position.
