Beautiful restoration. I remember my mother had dress making scissors very similar to those in the late 50’s. She made me many dresses using those scissors. Now you just have to restore all the others in the drawer, we can’t have “ugly sisters”! Then you must make a beautifully lined drawer or case to keep them in!🤗

I actually have a pair of scissors that are at least 60-70 years old if not older, and they have been taken care of so they look as perfect as the day the left the shop. Minus some scratches and normal wear marks of course. I need to sharpen them. But I bought a bunch of scissors a few years ago trying to find the best to cut ballistic rated Kevlar fabric. Eventually I found a pair of spring loaded micro serrated on one side, razor sharp on the other, and they cut anything and everything like its butter and they are red hot. I don’t think I’ll ever need another pair of scissors ever again.

It is obvious when you took them out of the drawer, they are nickel plated. I have solingen hair scissors 1936 from my grand father and they are nickel plated. Even the solingen sword i have as an officer of the navy is nickel plated. Good job ! But polishing wont last....

You do beautiful work. You brought those scissors back to life. For myself when I looked at all the scissors in your draw and and saw the wear and tear on them, to me that was also beautiful. Those scissors had a history and a life before you. When i see things that are restored sometimes the past is taken away from the pieces that have been restored. I guess I like to see things that are conserved too. But to each his own. You do, do beautiful work though so keep it up. It is just an old man's opinion.

Dremel have distinctive sound, sometimes it scares me
Yes, it can make a lot of noise at high revs.
11:44 deki dremel ucu batırdığınız malzeme nedir üstad? 12:21 de üzeri siyaha bürünmüş! Neden? Teşekkürler
selamlar sevgili dostum, polisaj için metal cilası, piyasadan kolaylıkla bulunabilir. Uzerindeki siyahlık polisaj esnasinda, metalde oluşan aşınmalarin rengi. Bir metali süper ince zimparalamak gibi düşünebilirsiniz.

how did you protect the iron from rusting
lubrication and regular maintenance
They’re gonna go rusty
yes, maintenance and cleaning day once a week for the whole workshop
It is obvious when you took them out of the drawer, they are nickel plated. I have solingen hair scissors 1936 from my grand father and they are nickel plated. Even the solingen sword i have as an officer of the navy is nickel plated.
Good job !
But polishing wont last....
thank you very much Christos and thank you for the info
it is not stainless steel. paint needed
Thak you for your opinion dear friend
Is this satire?
Joe sorry I don't understand the question well but , If I get the point, yes. That days ther were forest fire everywhere and some goverments did nothing. Nature and animals suffered. So I was very sad about that situation. I'm a vegeterian and don't eat any animal, including from the sea. I put some scenes in to this video for this reason.
You must be living on inheritance. You restore things that won’t make you any money and you sit around drinking all day.
Why not Bob 🥃🌿⚒️🗜️

“I’m going to leave some battle scars” proceeds to polish to a mirror shine.
The deepest scars are the ones you can’t see.
You, sir, have raised the bar for restoration videos! Production value, audio, and overall content makes for an incredible experience. Hat's off to you!
Thank you very much 🙏🏻 Hearing these make me so happy. All is one man show. Took so much effort and time but with comments like yours give my energy back 🤗⚙️🌟 Don't forget to suggest my videos to restoration lovers. stay safe and cheers 🥃🌟
Magnificent restoration. The polish on those scissors is exceptional. I’m so glad you didn’t paint them again.
Your videos are like a mini movie that are so relaxing to watch after a long day at work. So far I have not been disappointed with any of your videos. 👏👏👏👏🇦🇺
Thank you very much 🌟⚒️🗜️ This is exactly my purpose. I m trying to serve a mini movie and with your comment I can see, I did it 👏🏻🎞️📽️ nice to see you here
Nice job again. Won't you get galvanic corrosion between the two metals - the nut and bolt, and the scissors themselves?
Usually no Mike but sometimes yes. Totally depends on the climate. Nice to see you here
You do beautiful work.
Joe thank you very much dear friend. Great to see you here
