My first car was a 1966 Chevelle SS 396 4 speed. Since those days Ive been a classic car guy my whole life and still am. I currently have a 1969 Chevrolet short box pickup fully restored. Love the old classics!!!
Thanks again for a fab restoration...well worth the effort. My first car was quite exotic....An Opel Manta A, 1974. You don't see them much on the roads anymore, but I sure wish I had kept it. Cheers
My first car was a 1970 Dodge Challenger. My dad got it for me in the late 80s when I was 15. It had no motor, transmission, exhaust, radiator or shifter. We bought each item from other cars and put it together as a father/son project. I drove it through highschool and parked it in the garage when I left home. It hasn't ran in over 25 years, but I STILL have it.
An out-of-court settlement on the hair...you are a hoot! Humor, tools, memories...that's why we love this channel. Thanks again. ('67 VW beetle, but only because my father told me I'd never be able to afford insurance on a SS Chevelle. He was likely right.)
Great video, had to think back to my first car it was a 1973 Plymouth Fury III Hard Top, Poop Brown from my grandfather. I graduated from that to a 1978 280Z which is the car that I met my first wife with, man do I remember the times spending Fridays and Saturday night cleaning and cruising the blvd what times, you are right the kids nowadays will never know the fun of cruising up and back the blvd for hours on time. After we would go to the Food Lion lot and park and just hang out. I am getting nostalgic now, good times. What the kids of today will have to remember I wonder?
First car: 1972 Bronco. Got it in 1980, the second I turned 16. When I was 14, I started saving money to get a TR-6. My dad talked me into getting something more practical. Back then, getting a car, as soon as you were old enough, was as essential as breathing. BTW, this weekend I used a 4x36 belt sander to do the tips of over 20 flat screwdrivers - what a revelation! Best tool for the job, by far. Thanks for the tip, Scoutcrafter!
Great video! Thanks for the info! First vehicle was a 1970 Chevy long-bed. Late 80s, it took us to prom. Very few girls drove trucks, but it is still my favorite!!
My first car 1974 Plymouth Duster. I'll never forget it. Not my coolest car, but my first. Thanks John, I always appreciate and look forward to your videos, thank you.
1968 Camaro. I got it from my dad for paying the small remaining balance on the loan. Nice car for a 24 year-old kid. Handled well, lots of fun to drive with Chevy small block reliability. It is responsible for one of my best tool values ever because I bought a Hanson Hawk electronic tuneup set for ignition and electrical testing. It paid for itself the first time I used it. Tuneups (breaker points in those days) started to lose their edge at about 11,000 to 12,000 miles, so I always looked forward to tuneup time because you could tell the performance difference after you did the work. Gave it to my sister at 189,000 miles but still have my ignition tester. Thank you for the useful vise quick tip.
My first car was a 1962 Corvair Monza convertible that cost me $250. I think it used more oil than gas and I only used the heater once because it smoked up the cabin. But I loved that car!
Great job, John! My first car was actually a 1984 Toyota pickup truck. I bought it new for $137 a month! No a/c and vinyl seats in Texas! It was a sweaty ride most of the year! ~Jeff
I got my first car in 1969. No matter what your first car was, it meant freedom. Freedom to cruise the main street in town, freedom to get to school without riding in the bus, freedom to go parking with your girlfriend. It was all about getting away from home and exploring the world.
My dads old 1964 Ford country sedan, station wagon. 6 passenger 289 cid V8 , 3 on the tree, no power steering, no power brakes, no air conditioning, just a heater, Mom and dad bought me the fenders, they were holy. I did the body work and painted it at my buddies shop. I took my driving test in my sister 1964 VW bug, another stick shift, what a blast to drive!
1952 Ford F-1 pickup. Candy red. Flathead V-8 replaced with a 292 Y block from a 57 T-bird stock car. Side pipes under oak running boards. Oh what a sound. Chrome MT slots with some raised letter fat 50's or 60's. Original 3 on the tree. Only had a fiberglass chair for a driver seat until it was ready for the road (still have the chair, of course). I worked on it almost every day after school from age 15 until I could drive it at 17. Happy to say that a buddy of mine still has it and is one of his daily drivers. I had a1976 Ford F250 right around the same time.
"Barber called he wants to settle out of court" lol v funny :-) I can't criticise, by aged 30 I was already bald as a coot, now I'm 51 and it ain't got better. Great work, much love from England.
Purchased in 1978, a 1972 Chevelle Malibu 350, automatic, front bench seat (girlfriend friendly), black w/ black vinyl top, dark green interior, factory air, front disc brakes, tilt steering, Superior 5 spoke chrome wheels, still my favorite car I have ever owned.
First car 1962 Chevy II, Nova given to me from my uncle. I received my driver license at 17 years old on Staten Island N.Y. Enjoying your videos, keep up the good work.
1959 Pontiac Bonneville. That car rode like a dream. It would pass everything but a gas station. But, premium was only 27 cents a gallon so it didn't really matter.
What a great save on the scissors! They look fantastic. My first car was a 1968 Camaro. I liked it but not as well as my second which was 1971 Camaro. Thanks for sharing this. It was great.
LOL. The old Buick 1968 GS was wash with top job detergent and then a brand new rainbow air fresher .......thanks for the memories and shout out ...we will chat about the T shirts and other things for Scoutcrafter mech.....
Hey John, my first car was a '68 Plymouth Road Runner hard top. 383 4 speed. Didn't have an engine, had to build one and drop it in. Also came from a blue collar family. We would hang out in parking lots and show off our cars. Mostly 60s models, lot of fun. If the police chased us off we would just move across the street to another parking lot. Yeah kids don't work on cars much anymore. It's a shame. Those Cougars were really cool with the hidden headlights. And not as common as the Mustang. Great video as usual! 🚘
SCOUTCRAFTER!👍 I enjoy your reminiscing about your youth as much as your great tool restorations. Many of your stories strike a chord with me. My first car was a '67 Oldsmobile Toranado a big land yatch. I would "amor all" that big front bench seat & if I made a quick left turn I damn well had to have my seatbelt on or I would slide all the way over & bounce off the passenger door 😱😆😆😆
My first car, I'm from Germany was a Volkswagen Golf Mark 1, you call it Rabbit i think. The car was 14 Years old had 100.000 Miles a flat tyre and i got it for free.. I had a great time with it, 1.1 liter engine 50 migthy horsepower, but as you say it got me the freedom do drive everywhere i want every time.. Love your show, as always great work, much love from Neunkirchen-Seelscheid near Cologne, Germany
My first car is still in use, albeit it's only driven occasionally. Dad bought for me in 1968, 1962 Buick special :) Take care of things and they could last a lifetime.
S.C. Those scissors remind me of the big heavy duty ones that they used for cutting fabric in the upholstery shops.. My first 3 cars were 57 chevys.. many memories.. Great video as always...
My first car was a 1961 Chevy Impala 2 door hard top. I bought it in 1963 and paid $1750 for it from MacGrotty Chevrolet on Northern Blvd. I was a senior in high school and had a part time job in a supermarket making $1.15 an hour and paid for with my earnings. My mother took out the loan for me and I paid her back every week.
I am "much" older than you and my first and second cars are from and "earlier" age. First car was a 1939 Plymouth DeLuxe that I had to rebuild the motor so my dad would give it to me. Had help from both him and his mechanic. Second car was a 1933 Buick with dual sidemount spare tires and mechanical brakes. I could hold my whole highschool football team. The trunk was a "real" trunk mounted on the back bumper. My main hs car was a 40 Ford convertible that I wish I had today. Like the haircut. Allan
My first car was a 1980 Trans Am. My buddy had a 69 Mustang with a 351. We would cruise Main St. all night. There was always a lot of girls and cool cars. Great time to be 19 and hang out. I still have that car.
Eric- my high school buddy was from a rich family his father bought him a 1980 Pontiac Trans Am brand spanking new in 1980. We would pop the T tops off blast Funkytown on the radio and cruise Franny Lew for hours!!!!
@@ScoutCrafter ah yes... hot summer nights cruising with the windows down , radio blazing. Had to play everything loud to hear it over the Hooker Headers and blown out mufflers, lol ! Had a factory 8 track I swapped out for a “modern” cassette player and Pioneer speakers.
Just watched this video. Nice job on the scissors. My first car was a 1975 Dodge Coronet Brougham. I got it from my parents next door neighbors when it was 10 years old. Great car with the 318 motor/transmission.
Had a 1971 VW beetle. My girlfriend would always complain about how cold she was because it never warmed up until we got where we going due to the heating system just came from the engine. I loved that car!
My first car was a 1964 Pontiac Star Chief 4 door hard top with a vinyl roof. With that vinyl roof and no B pillar, it looked like a convertible. I've never seen another 1964 Pontiac Star Chief - very rare model.
First car was an '87 VW cabriolet. Re-did the top. Rebuilt the engine. Swapped FI for a weber carburetor. Runs like a dream. Still have it and will keep it forever.
Nice work. I just rescued a pair identical to yours. They were covered in rust, like yours. Today, I sprayed the handles with black epoxy. Fantastic scissors. My first car was a white VW Beetle, it ran in an oily rag. Great little car to blend in with.
1970 VW Transporter! A year later I got a 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger! 318 Engine. Was garage kept. Got it from a friends grandma who only drove it to church. 😃👍 Right On!!
First car I bought with my money was a 1967 Chevrolet Camaro Z28, 327. White with red interior. Best one I ever owned. Great project my friend. Stay safe.
First new car was 1969 Dodge Dart, four door, no AC, Slant 6 engine, automatic, green with green vinyl top. Thought I was the cats meow. Been a sub for years and love your show. Restored many hand tools, but not to your level. Keep up the great channel.
I had a 68 Ford Galaxy 500 with a 390 four barrel automatic. Metallic green. Nice car. Mom sold it when I went in the Navy. I love your '20 year' drawer. We all have them, some better than others.
@@ScoutCrafter You got that right! Sweet. My brother got a ticket taking off from a stop sign. Carb hesitated, he pushed more pedal, and burned rubber through the intersection. Cop was right behind him. Too funny.
My first car was a Rambler American. It was an early 60’s. Don’t remember the exact year. I bought it for $50. It was pretty beat. Rings were so worn I burned a qt of oil every 80-90 miles. I used to buy recycled motor oil. The thing that was great about the car was reclining bucket seats. Very convenient if you get my drift.
I had a '67 Rambler American- One of my favorite cars... Restored it with my Dad... They had a strange Trunion front end but once we rebuilt it the car was a dream.... =D
My first car was my childhood PE teachers 64 BelAir. 283v8, 2speed Power Glide. My pride and joy. My grandma bought it for my birthday for $50.00. Learned a lot about cars. Thank you grandma. 😌.
In 1982 my parents gave me their 1975 Ford F250 3/4 ton truck. Two gas tanks. When I started driving gas went over $1 per gallon. End of the world. The first car I bought was a Ford 2 door LTD, forget the year, but it was old, but beautiful. The second car I bought was a 1970 Ford Tarino. No seatbelts. That car would fly. I am lucky to be alive.
Nice job on the WISS Scissors John. Awesome video ! My parents had 4 of us kids. My oldest sister bought a 54 Chevy and it went to every one us kids. They made them tough back then 😂
Nice, have the same scissor in my tool box ,, First ride , that I purchased about 4 months before I was able to get my learners permit was a 1965 Chevelle Malibu SS 327 cu.in. 300 hp,,,,,a beautiful beautiful car, completely totaled it, before the end of my senior year of high school.....I’m 63 and still miss it
Hey John, My first car was a 57 Chevy Bel-air with a 327ci, Muncie M21 4 speed, 4.11 posi - all of which I installed (yeah I' was a gear head). lol - 2nd car was a 64 Chevy Impala, 327ci, turbo 350 auto - wish I still had both of them, along with a bunch of other ones that I had. Later
Nice job on a lost pair of scissors! My first car was a 1970 camaro.. boy I miss it... I’m currently working on a 1972 AMC javelin... funny how you showed a picture of the AMC pacer. I can remember seeing them on the road as a kid. I’d send pictures via email of the javelin if you’d like. It has 64,000 original miles and it’s quite a beauty.
Beautiful job on the scissors John. First car was a 1965 Buick Skylark coupe. We all learned to drive with it. I really loved those spinner hub caps! By the way, I am also the owner of a 1970 Buick GS. Fun car!
My First car was a pickup. A 68 GMC step side straight 6 with a 3 speed on the column. I started driving it in 1984 and it finally rusted away in 1994. 26 years of winter salt in Ohio. lol Loved that truck.
Great pair of scissors and great tips on cleaning up the blades!! My first car was a 1973 Ford Galaxie. Big boat of a car and a two door too. It was 24 ft long and barely fit in the garage whereas my mother’s Chevy Caprice wagon fit just fine. The doors on this thing must have 5-6 feet and you could stretch out on the bench seats also. Had it all thru high school and did a lot of stupid things with it as most teenagers do. Got it up to 110 mph on Ocean Pkwy. Your Cougar is a great looking car, love the hide away headlights.
My first car had to have been one of the most underpowered and uninspired designs in car history - a secondhand Pontiac T1000. I delivered a lot of news papers and bagged many groceries to buy that fantastic bit of freedom! Ha! ...and like you, I kept it cherry clean inside and out. ...something everyone commented on. It wasn't much, but at that time, I was so happy with those wheels. ...meant everything! The scissor restoration projects you've been doing reminds me of my mom. One of her many talents was as a seamstress, and she always had beautiful scissors. ...which were only for cutting material! I remember the sound they made and watching the precise cuts she could pull off because they were so sharp. ...and thinking someday I would have my own scissors like that. Ha! If she were alive, she'd appreciate your reverence for scissors. That was her thing too! Anyway, thanks for sharing your fun.
1976 Chevrolet Monza was my first car. Make sure you mention how to bring the tips back together if they don’t cut all the way to the end. (grind the nub between the two handles) Good stuff John!
I think you did an amazing job with these sciccors. I incidently also just restored a pair myself, Solingen brand. About the same size and shape. Very fun project!
Another good show Thank You SC . First car was 81 dodge van with slant 6 , captain's seats, loud stereo, CB radio and slotted mags . If you really want to check sharpness of scissors try cutting fabric ,paper cuts easy has to be real sharp to cut fabric well.
My first car was a 1950 Plymouth I got for painting a house. Sold that to my brother 2 year later then got a 1962 Chevy Impala SS 327 4spd. Loved that car.
ScoutCrafter, you nailed it on first cars when you said “we loved them because they meant freedom.” Loved my car, but honestly it proved to be junk - a 1978 Honda Accord. Japanese manufacturers hadn’t figured out that Americans put salt on the roads in winter, and it proved to become a serious rust bucket. And the doors latches broke, I couldn’t afford the parts, and drove for a year with coat hangers through the interior handles to keep the doors closed (we had to enter through the rear hatch!). But, God I loved that car!
My first car was actually a truck. It was a 1966 GMC, inline 6, 3 speed on the column (3 on the tree) and had an oak slat bed. I bought it in 1997, I was 15. Cost me $300 which was a lot for me as I never got allowance nor was I paid working in my family’s business. It was a farm truck it’s entire life and had 36,000 original miles on it. It needed some work, but that was some of the most fun I’ve had. I’d put models together for fun prior to that and to step up to a life sized model was incredible. Wish I still had it. My father forced me to sell it after graduation as the plan was I was going to be away at college and he didn’t want to hold it for me. If there is ever a day I see it again and the VIN matches my wife is going to have to accept that I’m buying it.
First car was a little Talbot Samba. I used to have to drive around with a hammer in the glove box because the starter motor would stick if it ever stalled. I’d think nothing of leaping out of the car, hammer in hand, popping the bonnet, whacking the starter motor and getting back in again.
Great work on the scissors! I had a feeling they’d look great. We have about 28” of snow on the ground and counting. My first car was an 81 Plymouth Reliant. Not the coolest, but I kept it immaculate and loved it. Paid $600 for it. I gave it to my sister when she got her license and I got an 87 Daytona Turbo. I LOVED both of those cars...FREEDOM!!!! We still need the Don’t Be Stingy With The 50/50t shirt. Or even better, a spray bottle.
1967 ford falcon SS GT robin egg blue. Small block V6 with 2 -2 barrel carburators that looked like army helmet air cleaners they were sitting on a raised intake manifold at 45 degrees. It was scary fast for a 16 year old. And it got sold in less than 2 years. The coolest thing to me besides the engine.. was the swing down windows they tilted and dropped into door instead of rolled down. It was a B-GAS streeter. It had the original decals on rear fender and all the windows. It was 8K$ belonged to a old guy who who ordered it custom as a B-GAS car it's still painful to me I was too childish to understand or be responsible. Also I liked it had no heater or AC
I bought my first car for $1000 in 1991 when I was 15. It was a 1977 Chevy Nova with the straight six 250 cu in engine. There was so much room in the engine compartment, you could practically smuggle a person in there! Everything was accessible! I drove it as my daily driver until about 2003! I still have the hood, grill, and steering wheel! 😁
My first car was a Ford fairlane I loved that thing. I love the wiss brand I have only ever had good results with them the shears came up fantastic scout god bless take care 🙏🇺🇸👍✂️✂️
My first car. I'll never forget it! 1963 red Ford Falcon, manual on the column. I paid $100.00 for it in 1968 (I just turned 16). Spent many hours waxing that baby!
John, my first ride was a 1960 chevrolet impala. $200 . Wish i had that car back! All my sheet metal snips are Wiss brand. Very nice tools. That channel that i told you about ( FastFIX ) did one of your favorites today. He restored a old oil lamp. Have a great week! 🇺🇸👍Roger
My first car was a 1973 Chevy Nova. I put 30,000 miles on it in the first year that I owned it. Loved it. I sold it and bought a 1967 Mercury Cougar which I also loved. Modern cars just aren’t the same.
A 1977 Ford Capri 2.0S as my first car when I was 16. It was 11 years old and I learned a lot from fixing that car. I couldn't afford one now, apparently they're "collectible" these days!
My First Car Was A 1970 Datsun 510 - 4 Door Sedan......Light Green......Loved That Car. It Had A Glass Window To See Into The Carburetor. Fast Little Japanese Car.
My first car was a mini 850 cc it was a rust box but it just ran and ran the engine was bullet proof. It's so hard to find a good pair of Taylor scissors so sharp great for cutting card for the recycling bin lol.great show tonight. God bless and keep safe. D Smart
Haha...1999 My dad got me my first car, a 1983 Toyota Tercel. It didn't run. I had to fix it up if I wanted to drive. It was such a piece of crap but I really loved it, lol. Thanks for the cool videos and bringing me back down memory lane.
My first car I bought from a guy on the city garbage truck crew. A 1952 Buick Special Coupe with the Dynaflow transmission. Sky Grey over Venetian Blue body. What a tank! I paid $200 for that 15 year old car. I had just turned 16 and gotten my license
Mine was a 1966 Dodge Charger that I got from my cousin. My first truck was my grandpa's 1968 Ford F250 with only 38,000 miles. I traded it for my cousin's 66 Charger.
👍😎🤠🇺🇲 62Chevy 2 Nova purchased in 1975, for $25. From a neighbor. Kicked off me working on engines and Auto body. Also that year, for Christmas, I got a Craftsman started mechanic's tool set. Good times.
I got my first car in 1966 from a friends sister. It was a 1955 English Ford Anglia. I paid $6.00 for it paying her two payments of $3.00 I bought several more Anglia's over the years. Some for driving and some for parts cars. Growing up in that time frame, many old cars could be had for free. In the early 1970's when I got a job, I bought many 55 thru 57 Chevys and Fords. My good friend of 53 years started a wrecking yard at 11 years old in 1953 and still runs it today going on 68 years. He only sells antique car and truck parts. Many of the cars I have had I got from him. My best one was a one owner clean rust free Calif 1956 Chevy sedan that I owned for 34 years until I got sick and had to sell it.
I would say that those scissors are laminated steel. Common practice in the old days, even with axes. Sweden made some great inexpensive knives that way. 1976 Cobra II Mustang. I got it after I got out of high school and had to get a loan. It was 3 years old when I bought it.
My first car was a beautiful blue 69 Mustang. It was a straight six, three speed so I wasn't going to win any drag races! I loved that car...when it started. 😂 I tell my wife that she only wanted to date me for my Mustang. She rolls her eyes. It eventually succumbed to the dreaded A-frame rot. Great job on the scissors, Scout!
Wiss 22W inlaid are a tool I use regularly. We use these to cut single ply roof membranes. Been using this model for many yers. Yours came out just like new. First car 72 Buick Skylark 350 coupe. Was a nice car but that Merc Cougar you had is a beautiful car. My grandmother had the same model as you I believe unfortunately my uncle crashed it. My Grandma was 😠
My first car was a 1966 Chevelle SS 396 4 speed. Since those days Ive been a classic car guy my whole life and still am. I currently have a 1969 Chevrolet short box pickup fully restored. Love the old classics!!!
Nice rides Wally! 😃👍

"Barber called he wants to settle out of court" lol v funny :-) I can't criticise, by aged 30 I was already bald as a coot, now I'm 51 and it ain't got better. Great work, much love from England.

I think I remember your car had the vinyl top but I couldn’t find a picture on the Internet with the black vinyl top. 😃👍
SCOUTCRAFTER!👍
I enjoy your reminiscing about your youth as much as your great tool restorations.
I would like to see a photo of that car 👍👍
Where's the "Don't be stingy with the 50/50" t-shirt?
Awesome ride Frank!!! 😃👍
Great job on the scissors restore! I think we need a shirt that says "don't be stingy with the 50/50" I'd order one of those.
Those scissors came out great! My first car was a 1981 Subaru DL coupe.
Restored many hand tools, but
not to your level. Keep up the great channel.
I had a 68 Ford Galaxy 500 with a 390 four barrel automatic. Metallic green. Nice car. Mom sold it when I went in the Navy. I love your '20 year' drawer. We all have them, some better than others.
Richard my cougar had a 390 also that motor was a beast 325 horse tons of torque!!! 😃👍
@@ScoutCrafter You got that right! Sweet. My brother got a ticket taking off from a stop sign. Carb hesitated, he pushed more pedal, and burned rubber through the intersection. Cop was right behind him. Too funny.
I love old Wiss shears. I still have my 1st and 2nd cars. 1st-67 Mustang convertible 289. 2nd-84 Nissan 720 Pickup. Nice job.
Great video. My first car was a 1969 Nova SS. I got it off my older brother in 1978 driving to HS.
Later
gotta say, always wanted a 55 or 56...never got it...clipped every ad out of the news-paper...o-well
@@thankswillie it’s never to late to get what you want
1977 Plymouth Volare. It ran great! I was 18 years old and the car was 19!
I had a '70 Javelin and my friend had a '74 SST... They were awesome!
Yes... so your familiar with them.. I actually have the 72 SST
I want a “don’t be stingy with the 50/50” shirt lol! My first car was a 1995 Ford Ranger me and my dad bought new. Still have it!
Great restoration! My first car was a 1975 Honda Civic.
Oh, my first car? 1970 Buick Skylark 2-door coupe, Emerald Mist green, white vinyl top and interior, 350 V8 PS, PB, auto & air. Loved that car!!
Beautiful job on the scissors John. First car was a 1965 Buick Skylark coupe. We all learned to drive with it. I really loved those spinner hub caps! By the way, I am also the owner of a 1970 Buick GS. Fun car!
1958 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible, purchased in 1964. What a sweet car!
Thanks you for the shout out in the description!
(grind the nub between the two handles)
Good stuff John!
You’re right! 😃👍
First car 1979 Chevy Caprice circa 1995. I still own it. It sits in the garage. I still love the way it smells inside.
Got my first car recently. 2002 gmc sierra 1500. Love it
First car was a little Talbot Samba. I used to have to drive around with a hammer in the glove box because the starter motor would stick if it ever stalled. I’d think nothing of leaping out of the car, hammer in hand, popping the bonnet, whacking the starter motor and getting back in again.
LOL! Those sticky solenoids! 😃👍
Always lot to learn from you. 1975 Lincoln Cadillac 🇨🇦
🇺🇸👍Roger
Roger- I couldn’t find him maybe you can send me a link. Bicycleguy@aol.com
My first car was a 1973 Chevy Nova. I put 30,000 miles on it in the first year that I owned it. Loved it. I sold it and bought a 1967 Mercury Cougar which I also loved. Modern cars just aren’t the same.
LOVE the 68 Cougar! That would be my pick, if I could have a late 60s muscle car. My first was a 74 Dodge Coronet.
Very informative and educational. My first car was a 1967 Pontiac tempest.
1955 Ford 2 door hardtop. 292 V8 with a automatic. Hollywood's. What a ride.
My first car I bought from a guy on the city garbage truck crew. A 1952 Buick Special Coupe with the Dynaflow transmission. Sky Grey over Venetian Blue body. What a tank! I paid $200 for that 15 year old car. I had just turned 16 and gotten my license
Those turned out great! I am glad you like the power tech, mine really has served me well. Great stuff! Cheers
My first car 1967 Chevelle 396 SS
Joe that car was a beast I also remember you or your dad had a Chrysler GTX that would leave rubber for two blocks!!! 😃👍
@@ScoutCrafter my father had the GTX I wish I still had the 67 Chevelle but I do have a 70 Chevelle 383 stroker with turbo 400 with air condition
Mine was a 1966 Dodge Charger that I got from my cousin. My first truck was my grandpa's 1968 Ford F250 with only 38,000 miles. I traded it for my cousin's 66 Charger.
My first vehicle was a 1961 Ford Unibody pickup truck. 4 speed manual with a granny low 1st gear. It was an old beater but soooo fun to drive!
John back in 73, my wife had a 68 Cougar 390GT. what a car! It would pass everything but a gas station...LOL
Yes! I had the 390 too! 325 HP and it was FAST!
👍😎🤠🇺🇲 62Chevy 2 Nova purchased in 1975, for $25. From a neighbor. Kicked off me working on engines and Auto body. Also that year, for Christmas, I got a Craftsman started mechanic's tool set. Good times.
Very cool!
My first car was a 1978 Cj7! I loved that Jeep.
1967 Chevelle. Great job bringing those scissors back.
I would say that those scissors are laminated steel. Common practice in the old days, even with axes. Sweden made some great inexpensive knives that way. 1976 Cobra II Mustang. I got it after I got out of high school and had to get a loan. It was 3 years old when I bought it.
Sweet!
Fully loaded, '73 Buick Regal, 454, 400 turbo trans and mechanical quarda-jet carb. She flew and was smooth.
My Grandma was 😠
LOL Your Grandmother was upset! =D
Green 1972 Monte Carlo. Loved that old green beast!
