2-rail O-scale Jack Ferris SRR PS 4 Pacific

This Jack Ferris model of a Southern Railroad Ps-4 Pacific is shown on its first test run after servicing. Many modelers hardly bother to lubricate their models at all, but if they do it's often just the axles and whatever else can be accessed by turning the model over on the bench. All models -- especially old steamers like this one -- need to have the body removed and the top of the chassis lubricated from time to time. This was performed on this model, which had been a bit sluggish. Speed and power were much improved, as can be seen.
