Hollyleaf is one of my favorites, but I feel like they could have done so much with her instead of throwing it all away.

If you watch the horror Power of Three AU, then yes
to terrified to watch it , what did she do ? ( as said person to terrified to watch a Horror AU asks to learn more about it - ) saw the map call , but didn ‘ t watch the final production because i get scared easily .
Doesn’t she die in that? Like in warriors tunnels or something else? (I forgot lol)
Holly leaf is one of the few to actually survive at the end of the au (along with leafpool and squif) you can see them during the credits and are in the tunnels

I used to despise Hollyleaf. I thought she was too much of a goody-two-shoes and that she was too overdramatic, especially when it came to the warrior code. I then saw this one pmv that completely changed my perception of her. The reason she killed Ashfur was because she was so ashamed of being a "mistake" herself, and she couldn't let him announce it at the gathering. She wouldn't be able to live with herself. But after she had killed Ashfur, she realized that what she had done was much worse than just being born in between two clans. She had murdered a clanmate. This drove her insane, so much so that she was preoccupied with her thoughts and she saw Ashfur everywhere. She wasn't paying attention to any cat's reactions, she was blinded by what she had done. Her thoughts consumed her, she had broken the code multiple times. By the time she realized that her family was worried, it was too late. She's now one of my favorite cats as well as that whole situation with Ashfur, Squirrelflight, etc. I absolutely adore it. I think the reason I love Hollyleaf so much now is that I can now understand her pain, I can understand why she couldn't think straight and why she was so irrational at points. She was hurting. I don't know, this is all just my opinion. She, like Ashfur, probably should've handled her mental state better. But now I understand why she did the things that she did. :,)
It's All So Incredibly Loud?
"Brambleclaw's ONE act of kindness throughout the entire series. Yes, just one."
And that ONE act of kindness led to a HUGE misconception in the fandom that Ashfur's death was an accident, rather than a cold blooded murder. Hollyleaf MURDERED Ashfur. Let's not forget that. But unlike a lot of characters Hollyleaf had a REDEMPTION arc, and a PROPER one so it's okay that she got into StarClan-she admitted what she did was wrong, made up for it by protecting her Clan, and always put her Clan first.
oh my god I had no idea that was a misconception!! but now that I think about it, I guess there probably are a lot of people who only read the main books, in which case I now see how that became an issue..as much as I love her novella, I love it BECAUSE of the moral grayness! I did appreciate Brambleclaw’s act of kindness, but it was moreso because I understand that it meant he had realized Hollyleaf murdered Ashfur and decided to protect her. It wouldn’t have even been a big deal if he was just testifying the truth! I’m a firm believer in the fact that she deserved to go to Starclan, but it honestly takes away so much from her character arc to think she was entirely innocent..

Unpopular option: Brambleclaw is my second favourite character.
@@_phantom_of__the_oprea5112 honestly I liked him a lot too in the first couple arcs, but I think the Erins are bored of writing him or don’t like him and they’ve unintentionally put him down a bad path recently :( but I will always acknowledge how much I loved him and Tawnypelt’s original character arcs! Although I don’t agree with how he’s been governing more recently, I will always feel for those kits having their father outed as a murderer when they were so small, and then being treated as dangerous/untrustworthy despite the fact that they were just KITS and had not done anything morally wrong. I think Firestar having him as an apprentice was a sick character arc too! Firestar was the mortal enemy of Tigerclaw, and he was one of the worst when it came to seeing their father in them, he was terrified of little Tigerkit. Regardless of our own opinions on whether or not he’s a good leader NOW, it was an amazing feat for him to climb up to being appointed deputy in the first place, given that many cats didn’t want to give a decedent of Tigerstar power :)

She's basically the equivalent of what happends when mistakes are maid but they make you strong enough to be saving something or someone who will light a path that being ivypool

I’m still mad that hollyleaf didn’t get a power just because nobody could think of one? I could think of an amazing power for hollyleaf within a minute.
I don't get it, so many ideas, but got heeled out the window. But they could somehow think of one for Dovewing? Something doesn't add up.
I don't think Ashfur's murder was premeditated. I think it was a case of Voluntary Manslaughter. After all, she had just been told that he will reveal everything, he insulted and sneered to her face, she had confronted him alone in the forest.
She had only intended to talk him out of the reveal, but he provoked her. So she followed him and killed him with that fear and rage still in her mind.

I actually love holly leaf and ivy pool, and I think she was kind of a waste on the writer's part. I've heard they killed because they couldn't think of a power- and then made an entirely new cat to give a power to

I'm always wondering about Fallen Leave's "cat society group" that he lived in before he was confined to the tunnels. What was it like? Did they have any set rules or structure similar to that of the present day clans? Did they come from the mountains or somewhere else? How many "Starclans" can different groups of cats have? (Such as the Sisters, Skyclan, Tribe Of Rushing Water, etc) I have so many questions and thoughts about this! does any else?
Maybe sometime in the future Akira will do a video like this and maybe she'll explain some things that I was referring to.

I usually really like your videos and i like this one too. But i have to completely disagree with you saying Bramble had "only one act of kindness in the series" this personal hatred for Bramble that you have shouldn't be an excuse for you spreading false info. Not only was Bramble a great father and had multiple kind moments with his kits but he has had other times he has been kind. Just because everyone hates him now because of recent events doesn't mean everything he did that was good is invalid or didn't happen.. ^^;

Holy leaf is my second favorite character after breeze pelt she's so strong and confident even though her appearance was a bit short and I like her evolution from jealousy from dove wing to killing the only cat I hated the most
For some reason, I imagine Mousewhisker had a crush on Hollyleaf when he was an apprentice, and through to warrior hood, but Hollyleaf was too busy to notice. Also, yes, I do support the Minnowtail and Mousewhisker ship.
This helped me to like her again. After watching one youtube video I started to dislike her because she was in a bad light. But now you made her seem like a real person that can learn from their mistakes and be a kind person after, because we are all imperfect. Hollyleaf was my favourite and now she is again. Thank you!

It may have been fanservice, but the Erins have also treated other characters like fanservice characters also. An example of this would be Ivypool and Squirrelflight.

Brackenfur is Thornclaw's brother, from the same litter. Brackenfur and Cinderpelt were made apprentices before 6 moons. Brackenfur retires before Thornclaw.. it makes no sense! They are littermates!! -_-
