rasterize the shape
0:23 define the text to brush preset
0:49 brush tool> select the brush> brush settings window, brush tip shades: space=1px
0:57 layer panel: create a new layer, move it to below the text layer> canvas: hold "shift"+click on the text layer, another click to the bottom-right corner, now the shadow comes out

yes it is, click the text, hold shift and click where you want the stroke to end

Thank you for your turorial. But unfortunalety in my photoshop file, there are pixels at the edges of the shadow. Any ideas what i can do to avoid these?

hey man this method do not work for me i don't know why, when i hold the shift key it drags the shadow strightly to the bottom of the layer any help?

make sure u selected the area either with a pen tool or a magic wand tool and select the layer as well
