I watched this video and was like, no way this wont work and isn't what I'm looking for. Then, I tried it out and it actually looked great! I actually did two right arrows and one up to make the shadow sharper. lol
Hi Justin, I am also having problems with the the Alt + Ctrl method too. I am trying this technique on a Windows 10 machine in PS 2017 to no avail. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this problem. Btw, I love your videos!
Exactly... every time I use the Alt + Ctrl method, when I hit the arrow keys my entire screen shifts 90 degrees - even when I close out photoshop my screen is still shifted 90 degrees!
you click to highlight the second to last layer which in his case was 89 i think, then you scroll down to the first layer and you shift+click and it should highlight all the layers in between
Hi! It worked yesterday but when I tried today, it only copies the up arrow but not the right arrow if that makes sense! Hope you can help me what I'm doing wrong?
If you actually go into photoshop and try what you are saying you see it doesn’t work to get the same result and would be especially different on a less blocky font
+JustThisGood Photoshop I just tried it & and i found out that Ctrl means command but if we click on alt+ctrl+any direction it rotates the window LOL so i tried alt + start and it worked :D
Thanks for listening!! I prefer 3 minutes or a little above that. 5 minutes is too much.10 and 15 are overkill I will actually upload a 40 minute video just now. hahaha but i prefer it in that format!
OMG! THANK YOU SO MUCH! THIS IS SO FAR THE BEST AND ON POINT TUTORIAL I'VE EVER SEEN.. XOXO
God he literally just showed how to make depth on text why tf are you flipping the f out?
Great and simple tutorial, keep it clean & keep up the great work!
Te quedó muy bonito, gracias por compartirlo.
On Windows the command is Alt + Shift
"i don't know if I did the math right" was my favorite part of the video haha.
Keep up the good work!
Thanks haha
Thank you Justin. You have got me hooked onto photoshop again and I cannot thank you enough for this ! Wishing goodwill your way ! :)

It's a great tip and thanks for sharing. I've done it before in Photoshop, but anyone know how to do it in Gimp?
when i do shift+alt+up/right my text isn't moving 1px by 1px, can you help me ?
Its moving a lot so its not good
How can you change the invert color? I did my lettering in orange once I hit Ctrl I it turn into blue.
How did you highlight all the layers then press control e? It just picks up the layer and moves it to the bottom for me
you click to highlight the second to last layer which in his case was 89 i think, then you scroll down to the first layer and you shift+click and it should highlight all the layers in between

awesome , loved it alot
THANK YOU DANIEL RICIARDO
YO THANKS FOR THAT COLOR TIP!
This has completely messed up my text and I can’t get it back to normal?
It’s got my writing tying in top of each other and can’t get it back to normal
You don't need to make 90 changes, literally just duplicate the text, change the color and move it in the right place.
That’s what this does, it duplicates the text
@@JustinOdisho Yeah, but you made 90 extra changes to put it in the one location you needed when you can just move it with one click.
@@TheValorantGuy not sure if I catch your drift. What part exactly do you have issue with?
If you actually go into photoshop and try what you are saying you see it doesn’t work to get the same result and would be especially different on a less blocky font
The copying is not smooth.
Help!!!!!!!!
Please
Awesome
what font did you use i couldnt make out what the font box said?
Thankssss man awsome
If it's not WHITE, how do I find the color picker to not use the Invert Shortcut tool to get the Rasterized layer to change color?
You can a apply color blending mode

Windows key with alt and the the Arrow keys

@@iangreen6886 Worked, Thanx
Hey, the Alt + Ctrl method is not working.
Hm make sure you are holding the proper shortcut keys before using the arrow, I would google it for your OS
tried it on Windows, it's Shift+Alt+up/down
SHIFT+CTRL+ALT+UP/RIGHT works for me on PC (Win10)
Windows key with alt and the the Arrow keys
@@DavinAli Windows key with alt and the the Arrow keys
thanks,
Thanks for watching!
my layers aren't smooth the shadow looks like stairs
Don’t hold shift
What Font did you use?
Alte Haas Grotesk Bold, you can always see this in the toolbar at the top when I have the text tool open like at 2:25
+Justin Odisho I can't find that Font in photoshop.
Sure, not every computer has the same fonts and many font's are available for free or purchase online.
I be flossin
I be flosssssssinnnnn
thank you so much Justin Bieber.............
anytime
shorter format! 5 minutes for a "simple" video is too slow.
Thanks for listening!! I prefer 3 minutes or a little above that. 5 minutes is too much.10 and 15 are overkill I will actually upload a 40 minute video just now. hahaha but i prefer it in that format!
cry then
this has got to be the worst way to do it hahahahah
