Jimmy that video was a masterpiece. You were at ease, and looked to be exactly where you should be, doing what you should be doing. it was well-shot. It was interesting, even to the most casual racing, gaming or automotive fan. It told a story, and that story was more than the sum of its parts - it wasn't just the story of the day a simulator driver got a golden ticket, it was the story of a boy, who grew up to be a man in a shed, showing the world what he loves, and growing up all over again. I can't say that I wouldn't have had the same emotional response. Dream come true. 👍 Nice one Jimmer. If you can make a real world driver feel comfortable, you're doing something right. Thanks for this. A very good watch!
You went from streaming the GT and other games, to getting in iRacing, being a racing commentator for GTS, to actual racing in karts and you were there, in the legendary german race track. “I wasn’t scared I was just like... oh...” 😂😂
I think this was one of the 2 "moments" that they definitely didn't have on track!
@5:43 he's scramblin for that "oh shit" handle hahaha
I remember watching this when it first came out. And what a journey from here. From one emotion drive around the ring, to a full race car driver for Praga who won
BMW+Nurburgring yes I would had cried also congrats Jimmy!!
Jimmy man. I think alot of people are struggling now with covid and whatnot. This is the exact thing I needed to see. Hopefully we can all find something we love, and enjoy, and can find our own happy place in this world. Thanks for the inspiration my friend :)
Hard to believe i've been around since 10k members and been apart of the crazy ride with you Jimmy. I hope the channel continues to go and that you get more and more opportunity's like this to live your dreams
FUCK YES JIMMER!!!! GO YOU GOOD THING!!!! You crushed it and I think I can speak for all your viewers and say that was spectacular, what a pro straight out of the gate. I can't hit like on this anywhere near enough.
Been watching you for a bit Jimmy, watching someone living out one of their dreams is very special.
That admiration from a legit GT3 driver was really awesome to see... and he wasnt bullshitting... holy hell. You nailed that lap.
Love how you talk about your feelings, Jimmy. You seem to wear your heart on your sleeve a little bit and that's no bad thing. Just noticed you've gone over 300k subs; you deserve every bit of the success you've achieved so far and the opportunities it is now presenting you.
Keep up the good work, Jim.
This video is straight up inspirational. You might not read this or even see it, but you make GREAT content. Thank you for all the work you do. Keep going, and don't get discouraged.
the sense of speed when driving the Nordshleife must be incredible
It is, trust me
Having peripheral vision and G forces will do that for you
It's higher than what we are used to in sim racing.
It is no matter what you drive.
@@lvk104 believe me with the Simracing, you know that track, it shape, but when you enters it for real, nothing can prepare you for what you're about to experience. The track feel way more tight, the elevation is incredible (when you are in the compression of fuchsrohre, it's almost like you have a mountain to climb). But it's definitely a good tool to have an idea of what you're about to face.
As somebody that has suffered with their mental health I couldn't be happier for you Jimmy. You're living the dream mate.
Bravo Jimmy, well done!! You're carrying quite a decent pace there, impressive.
This is whats its all about - sim racing let you know what corners were coming up and rough braking areas and passing other traffic as you instructor said - great driving and video
Got me right in the feels when you finished your lap. I’ve been here for a long time and it never gets old. Keep up the good work!
As a Sim-Racing Australian that has also done 100's of laps on the Nordschleife, Online in Assetto Corsa...
What an absolute privilege for BOTH you Jimmy, to get to do it for real - but it was also a privilege for me to view it from afar thru your eyes...
GREAT VIDEO Mr BROADBENT!!!
"I trust you, but I don't think you trusted me". Well, not trusting first timers on the track is his job, basically.
Up to the Flugplatz you can tell he was rightfully wary , after that he relaxed a lot as he could tell Jimmy knew what he was doing, even getting him up on the kerbs.
Seriously Jimmy you are such a down to earth kinda guy you are a natural at this driving in real life!!! You are brilliant you Nicky look like you get on like a house on fire!! Love it love it love it!
This is better than most gifts that could ever be received. What a joy.
Driving fast in a sim is one thing. Doing it in real life is completely different. You did fantastic mate! Serious speed there. I would have cried too.
I got emotional before you got emotional haha; Jimmy it's awesome seeing your dreams come true mate! Cheers!
Good job mate.... Go in the skyline 😍
Watching Nicki visually relax over the course of the lap as he realizes Jimmer can actually drive is awesome hahah
💯
Dude I've watched this guy's vids here and there. Dang, this video made me subscribe so fast. Such a genuine dude, makes me feel like he's a long time friend. Congratulations man.
Yeah! The vids finally out!!
Keep up the good work Jimmy!
Cheers!👑👍🏻🙏🏻
Jimmy i see alot of myself in you its one of the reasons im such a big supporter of the channel! Your a shining example of why you never give up on your dreams. Absolutely thrilled for you and i hope i get todo something similar myself one day!
I felt that, when you broke down I really felt that, living the dream keep it up dude
I can feel you bro. Just remembered your Red Bull X2010 at 400+kmph the racing line you held, the breaking points etc. Wow... Congrats... Dream come true!
“Recovery Truck takes a lap around the Nurburgring”
The ending of your lap is one of the reasons (in my opinion) that you're so popular Jimmer. You come off as a real dude because you (as far as I can tell) are a real dude. I can't say that I wouldn't have had the same emotional response. Dream come true. 👍
Nice one Jimmer. If you can make a real world driver feel comfortable, you're doing something right.
Thanks for this. A very good watch!
You went from streaming the GT and other games, to getting in iRacing, being a racing commentator for GTS, to actual racing in karts and you were there, in the legendary german race track.
Jimmy, you went a long way far. I know you can go further. One dream done, many more to go. I believe in you.
Been really worth it subscribing to you in the long run. Keep being you, mate.
There is really nothing comparable to this. Did a lap on the expo weekend as well with my EP3 Civic type R and it was amazing! High speed roller coaster all the way! Glad you hab the chance to experience it for yourself!
What game is this? How much is it? Does Jimmy come included, or is he a DLC?
q: what game is this
a:Jimmy Corsa
q:How much is it
a:around 99.99pounds
q:does jimmy come included or is he DLC?
a:you get a sim racing boii with the game
The game is RUclips tycoon and the mod is ShedBoii.
This game has an interesting new tech called AR (actual reality), which sadly is something a lot of gamers struggle with. The potential is huge though.
@@guardrailhitter Jimmy Corsa 😂👌epic
Bjornar Simonsen HAHA
Im so happy for u man... if there is someone who deserves to be at the ring behind a wheel it's you boi... i wish you the best of luck for the future
That was truly amazing!! awesome to how far you've come, you're hugely inspirational. thank you all the amazing content:-)
Good for you Jimmer. Proud of how far you've come. Keep up the good work and keep living your dreams.
You seem way more confident in actual cars than in your earlier endeavors, way to go jimmer!
Yes Jimmy! I can't describe quite how joyous this was to watch. I've followed you for a while and always thought you'd at some point progress on to being the new Murray Walker, commentating for a living due to your incredible talent for talking at a billion miles a minute with real passion for racing.Turns out you might end up being an actual racing driver. Whichever way it goes, big things are sure to happen, and I'm immensely happy you got to experience this and that you shared it with us all in your usual humble way. Big fucking love to you my man. X
Great job Jimmy, going from a humble shed driving the Nordschleife virtually, to driving on it in real life.
Proud of you dude. Awesome video. Seriously enjoyed it! Thanks for being real about it. You’ve put in your time and it’s shown.
