Well I do alot of backpacking and have ordered one myself. I use a kifaru backpack Reckoning and frame you need with it. I plan to use some foam and a dry bag to pack it in. This way I can just slide it into the pack with my Sirui SUP204SR So now I have the best of both worlds. Now the my canon80d I have always connected it to my chest. Which you can see in this video here watch?v=UI6AANfewmk just put youtube(dot)com in front of it. So now my camera is on my chest if I need it quick. My other items are in the pack I decide to use. This works well for me. I am also carrying a hammock systems, water, food and more. Some times I even take bigger lens.
