- 1300 kms of hiking marks the end of the South Island on New Zealand's Te Araroa trail. This is an exciting milestone that we were happy to celebrate together!
We hit some bumps in the road in Wellington, but find our way back on trail soon enough.

Well done Lauren, Congratulations on the SI 🥳🎊💯, looking forward to following your adventures on the NI (which you have probably completed), will be a lot different i.e holidays parks and people. Depending on how you go, the North Island past the Waikato has beautiful beaches. Oh and Tongariro !!! I am so with you on skipping all that road walking up to the Tararuas but from Auckland North would be OK.
