I got a hitch in a helicopter! | Hiking Te Araroa Episode 19

Getting a hitch in a helicopter goes down in history as my best hitch yet! While hiking the Queen Charlotte Track on the Te Araroa Trail, I find myself flying over the sound in a helicopter.
Back at camp, we hunt for glowworms and splash in bioluminescent water!

You lucked out again Lauren !!! How fun was that helicopter ride, so different than sitting in a plane. We stayed at Mistletoe last November, a really nice place and a nice lady. Went the other way from Camp Bay where you stayed on the second night. Love those cheeky Weka's. Well done capturing the Tui bird in song.
