Being in the business as a funeral director/embalmer, I deal with cemeteries all the time. I would hope that those deceased are not in there because I can't imagine after 3 years they haven't put the names on there. Upkeep can be costly but no excuse for that. Thank you for all you do, Lamont!!❤❤. Peace out✌️

It's terrible that people vandalize the graves like that. I'm in Calif. but my husband's grandparents are actually buried in that cemetery.
The reason there's no names is exactly what you said you hoped wasn't the case. The family or whoever bought that spot would have to pay to put the names back. The remains would have been put back in there and then the cemetery put the blank marble back just like they would put the dirt back if someone had dug up a grave. They couldn't be "moved" to a different space because they can only be placed in the space purchased for them. The one exception would be if the family paid to have the remains removed and cremated instead. The office at the cemetery would be able to tell you if they were no longer there if you knew the names. As a genealogist, I've spent a lot of time in cemeteries doing research and it's heartbreaking how many graves are just vandalized "for fun" with no respect for the dead or their loved ones..

You'd have thought the CCTV would have caught whoever done that UNLESS it WASN'T installed until after they broke into them 🤔🤔🧐🧐!! Which what seems to happen over here in the 🇬🇧 when places get broken into or vandalised.

there were no cameras anywhere in the cemetery. Until a double break in at the newer mausoleum near the front entrance in Oct of 2015 (I think), Urns were stolen and oddly later recovered from a mentally challenged young man who said voices told him to take them and care for them. Cameras were installed in that mausoleum afterward. My sons and uncle are there. My uncle is one of the ones who got to do a lil after death traveling. We were very lucky to have him returned. Crack heads often steal urns to sell off for scrap metal to buy more drugs. How sick is that? Cant be good for one's karma I would imagine.

I read that at some point they exhumed The Big Bopper and he looked just like he did when they buried him. Which is pretty amazing.

This is the reason why My wife and I are going to be cremated and our remains will be buried in the ground. Mausoleums are not a good place to be interned in do to Vandals, weather such as a tornado, leakage from the vaults. RIP to all who are buried at this cemetery. Also Lamont it's ok to forget your hat. Baldness is cool and slick 😎.

I will never EVER understand what could motivate a person to do something so heinous and disgusting as to vandalize a grave, let alone a mausoleum. As a kid when I was bored we invented games, ran around like idiots, rode our bikes around like we were some sort of a bike gang... BUT, we would have never thought of doing things like this so I am evidently completely detached from what the world has become. Talk about sad.
Anyway on a unrelated and more positive note, You successfully convinced me to pause your video and go find Chantilly Lace real quick and re-listen to it while I pay close attention to us lyrics, hahaha. Don't worry, I clearly came back to your video. But in the mean am I had a nice nostalgic trip down memory lane and was mortified at the thought of singing those lyrics along with family and parents. Haha. Anyway, thank you for another amazing and great video Lamont! Take care and be safe out there!
