    If the inheritance is the problem, the North could be exempted from the Inheritance Law while other zone could implement it. At the same time, the North should be exempted from sharing out of it, since it's not participating.

    Shame on Nigeria - one-country-two sets of laws - sharia law and common law.
    Break up Nigeria.

      Your problem is ignorance. Nigeria is a federal state, get some education about it so you don't come online to expose your ignorance.

    Inheritance tax is one major reason why corruption is minimal in western countries.

      That is not the problem, but can government account for all the money they've been collecting, making. Nigeria is skewed to favour one region against the other. Lets return to regional system of governance.

    I came here to learn about the Bill, but all I got was blah blah blah… Wait, I’m lost. Who’s the journalist? Who’s actually 'breaking' the news? And why does the Rep Member sound more like a street tout than a policymaker?

    The Nothern leaders should be ashamed of themselves. This idiot is requesting for the bill to be written in Hausa language is Hausa language the only language in Nigeria. Our official language in Nigeria is English. Enough of these illiterates in Nigeria. Break up this country and let them go.

    The tax reform bill should only be passed if it includes clear conditions to ensure that the neglected ports are fully functional. This way, the benefits of the reform will be shared fairly across the entire country.

    • @sholy4u
      @sholy4u Месяц назад +1

      Please if you want port, contact your governor and if the port in your place is not functioning, got nothing to do with the bills. Please be guided.

      My brother, it's in all cases that education can be an imperative for public good - unless it's used for objective purpose for common and general good!
      Professor Zulum is highly educated. Just imagine his sectional comments that the Tax bill is not good for the North. School educated man to the level of a Professor be talking with parochial and sectional mind? Some middle class in education are better than the so-called Professor. And you could remember that Professor Zulum was tipped as a Vice Presidential Candidate of an eminent candidate during the Primary.
