Lukewarm milk 190ml+-
Instant yeast 3.5g|1 heaped teaspoon
All purpose flour 210g|1.5cup
Bread flour 140g|1cup
Sugar 30g|4Tbsp
Salt 5g|1tsp
Whole egg 1 (55g+- an egg)
Butter 20g|1.5Tbsp
Fine breadcrumbs 50g|7-8Tbsp
Pan size 28x28cm
Bake at 180°C|350°F for 13-15 minutes

I tried this today and so far this the best pandesal recipe that I have tried. I'm keeping my notes on the recipe for future Pandesal baking.
My first time baking pandesal. Turned out perfect.🥰 I did however use raw honey instead of sugar as I don't take sugar. Instead of dividing the dough into 16 pieces, I divided mine into 12 pieces. I was abit worried at first as my dough was sticky however I decided to go with the flow and was glad it turned out really well. Thank you for this recipe. 🥰

This is the best pandesal recipe I ever tried. I made half the dough in pandesal for my daughter which she loved and finished in 1 day. And the other half made it Spanish bread. Will definitely make another batch since my daughter wants more! And we love the smell of fresh bread in the house. Thanks for this recipe!

Yes.. its very popular bread in my country anywhere you go csn find this bread called PANDISAL..
Now.. this days most of bakerys upgraded version pandesal have diffrent flavour. Like Ube mean purple yum,or malungay,some chocolate cheese pandesal and more... 😊 But i loved plain pandesal witj hot coffee or hot cocoa .

This looks good. When I was still living in the Philippines, I used to live in a small town (now part of Manila from what I heard)...every morning if we wake up too late, no more pandesal by 6am. I was only able to make pandesal once and it is not the same one I used to taste, so it was a forgotten recipe. I saw a recipe once with tangzhong incorporated with it but I haven't made it since. Fitness Filipina said your recipe is winner. So I will try your original recipe first then if I like it, I will add/incorporate tangzhong. I am a home chef and did not know a pot from a pack of nails when I was living there. I only knew how to eat until I went/live overseas, I have to learn how to cook because my money supply was dwindling then. LOL

Hi, is all purpose flour and bread flour. Bread flour is higher protein than all purpose flour, the protein content of bread flour is about 12-13%, it works well with bread. Happy Baking

Pergunto : Você pode tirar uma dúvida??? Nessa receita, você mostra 2 tipos de farinha! Minha dúvida é! Na nossa tradução, há diferença de farinhas! farinha multiuso (ALL PURPOSE FLOUR), e de farinha de pão (BREAD FLOUR)! Fiquei confusa! As farinha são as mesmas??? Tem diferença??? Você poderia explicar, dizer qual a diferença das farinhas??? Que farinha usar? Tenho batedeira, posso fazer sem bater na batedeira??? Já te agradeço, pelo carinho! 🥰😍❤️
La harina todo uso contiene menos proteína (gluten) que la harina fuerte o de pan.
La harina todo uso es como si nombre, se puede usar para hacer pan, pasteles (cakes en Inglés), en fin cualquier tipo de uso en la cocina que necesita una harina. Sin embargo, el gluten que es lo que se necesita para que un pan tenga una estructura para sostener su esponja, creada por todos esos hoyitos que ves (en Inglés se le llama el crumb del pan) no es sostenible si no tiene suficiente.
La harina de pan, por lo general, contiene desde un 11% hasta 14 o aún 16% de gluten, dependiendo del trigo que se muele. Harina todo uso, sin embargo, como promedio, contiene un 10%, con un mínimo de 8% y máximo de 11%. Pero varía por marca.
