Timothy B. Schmit is a musician, singer, and songwriter. He has performed as the bassist and vocalist for Poco and the Eagles, having replaced bassist and vocalist Randy Meisner in both cases. Schmit has also worked for decades as a session musician and solo artist. In 1998, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Eagles.

I love when my rock crushes from the 70's have never cut their hair. Timothy is 76, still has his long hair. As a child of the 60's that has meaning for me.
What makes Timothy B Schmitt so special, apart from his beautiful voice, is his gentle soul. Don’t know him, but I love him anyway.
Listening to his music and interviews, you get a strong, consistent positive vibe. His love songs are so great, and it doesn't surprise anyone that he's been with the same woman for over 40 years. I'll listen to anything he wants to sing. ❤
and he's so humble...all the hits he's had and he's like "im glad people like my songs". what a guy!

It`s funny because I have loved the Eagles since 1975 and only in recent years, as I have had more time to find out about all the great musicians, that have made this band so iconic, have I come to fully appreciate this uniquely talented bass player and vocalist. He is, without doubt, one of the all time greats, combined with such a gentle, kind and humble nature. Thank you Timothy B Schmit.

Timmothy Schmicht's voice is so unique for Poc9 and the Eagles. That is why Richie name her Daughter Timmie
One of the best voices in modern music for decades now.
Back in Poco with Richie, Jimmy, Rusty and George there was no better live band out there.
