    Let's not forget the Sackville Bagginse's. Lobelia was a formidable hobbit, she stood up to Saruman's henchmen.

    Eowyn is still my favorite woman in Lord of the Rings. Faramir is a lucky man.

    It's kind of funny because you do wonder how anybody kept their populations up given the fact that Orcs seemed far more common than women.

    and in case someone isn't satisfied with how many female characters there are, I remind them that quality is better than quantity... something disney doesn't seem to understand.
