Max Landis Presents: THE SOCIETY | ENDANGERED SPECIES

- please watch on the biggest screen possible. im crazy for this one for real
“The Society: Endangered Species” is a surrealist feature length film, produced as part of The Kryptonian Epic is a multi-media art project based on published DC Comics (“Superman: American Alien”) but primarily exists in the form of a multitude of Storytelling or “Pitch” videos for RUclips.
The Kryptonian Epic reimagines the DC Universe as a single epic story, remixing classic stories with new ones, all from a lens of character-based humanism, focusing on the people behind the iconic heroes we’ve come to know. re-examining and recreating certain origins, dynamics and events in a new way. The epic itself is a continuation of the world and characters of my DC-published comic series Superman: American Alien, and therefore exists in a strange philosophical gray space between canon and fan fiction.
The subject matter of this video might be initially hard to grasp, as this story is the penultimate main chapter of the Kryptonian Epic. If this were Harry Potter, THE SOCIETY: ENDANGERED Species would essentially be in the position of THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE. Ideally, you’ll enjoy it anyway, and maybe even check out some of the other videos of the epic.
For those really paying attention, THE SOCIETY: ENDANGERED SPECIES is in many ways a conclusion to The Ace Chemicals subplot, which begins in SUPERMAN: AMERICAN ALIEN #5, continues in FREEZE : TEST-RUN, and is heavily featured in SUPERMAN: FOR ALL MANKIND. It’s also the convergence point for almost every ongoing “Earth” based plot thread running through the epic, with climactic-lore-spanning developments for characters like Zatanna, Diana, and Vandal Savage, who both all appear in Z! THE MAGICAL GIRL.
It’s also the second of two SOCIETY stories in the epic, both of which focus not only on the titular group of characters, but also on how the rise of “superheroes” affects society at large, and more specifically the billionaire class and the various aristocrats of global kleptocracy. If someone is REALLY paying attention, it also ties into one of the major repeated plot points of KRYPTON: ZOD’S MASTERPIECE!
The plot points in this had to be abbreviated in places, concerning Edward Nigma, Ted Kord and Dick Grayson, for the sake of brevity. Ted Kord’s retirement subplot and romance, Eddie’s return to Arkham, and Dick’s suicidal depression in the wake of Bruce Wayne’s disappearance.
Thank you all so much for watching, please like, comment and subscribe! You can follow me on Instagram @uptomyknees1985. And if you're one of the really cool people who's been following The Kryptonian Epic so far, point out all the little hidden pay-offs and references in here to the rest of the story. That's fun, right?
The larger videos of the epic would not be possible without the hard work, creativity and dedication of both Ben Escobar, my editor/camera man/vfx/producer, and Alberto Borsato, the incredibly gifted composer whose gorgeous and inventive music is the backbone of so many of the Epic’s most important moments.

Clark: "What did you tell them... about having sex with me?"
Lois: "I told them the truth. That I'm the best you ever had."
Clark: "Nice."
😂😂😂
Upon second viewing I understand now why this needed a bigger framing. This is one of the coolest parts thus far of the Kryptonian Epic, and perfectly captures why it’s been such a cool ride. It’s sweeping and epic while also being quiet and human, it’s profound and personal and contains all the superhero asskicking fun you could ask for. Thank you for this gift, Max and crew. Can’t wait for more.
"Every guy out there is just a dude trying to be a man to his bros" might be the best Oliver Queen line I've ever heard.
Just went on a kryptonian epic binge recently. Yesterday I saw that this was coming out and I was like OOOOOOOHHHH SHITTTTT
I'm not gonna watch this until I can afford some greenery, but I'll leave a like and will play it muted in the background to give it a boost. Love your stuff, Max, been eagerly waiting on this!
I love when Jimmy punches Lex in the face, and off-camera on of the agents yells “Olson! What the fuck!?” 😂 For some reason I thought that was really funny.
Some honest takeaways after watching:
- My favorite scenes were the action sequences (Ollie in sewer, Croc vs Society + Cheetah vs Ollie). Somehow an enthusiastic narrator + music + well placed effects (glass shatter, smoke, speed lines, etc) + quick up-close cuts delivered the same thrill as big budget Hollywood action. I found this to be the biggest accomplishment of the film. I truly have never seen that pulled off before.
To be honest, Max isn’t much of an actor but that fucker can describe an action scene like nobody’s business!
- The projector screen behind Max during his narration adds SO much to establishing a vibe and elevates those scenes beyond just a guy telling a story. A clever and simple device that really helps carry the film.
- Barbara the Cheetah was awesome! I un-ironically think she looked better than Kristen Wig in WW84. Practical effects for the win!
- Maybe the best line in film : “I have listened long enough!”- Zatanna. Very cool moment.
- The music during the Deadshot v Zatanna scene sounding like something straight out of Successsion was a highlight.
- I do really like the young sounding ‘everyman with a heart of gold’ portrayal of Clark. I feel like Superman's defining trait is that he has powers of a god while also having extreme empathy and kindness. He's the most purely 'Good Guy' of all the Good Guys. But there is a lot of added quirkiness to the character that I don’t love. Heavy Romantic Comedy vibes in sections that take me out of the Epic nature of the story being told. Although, it does provides a distinct Max Landis feel and much like Tim Burton, Z Snyder & Tarantino - I can respect when a director has personalized style that is felt with whatever story they’re telling.
- Mr Freeze talks like Count Dracula. Still not sure how I feel about that lol
- Overall, worth the wait and lived up to the hype! Looking forward to more.
PS. Seeing this makes me think - Fuck this ‘Cancellation’ crap! Max should be getting hired to write & create things. He’s clearly good at this shit & has a passion for storytelling that isn’t so common anymore.
Lois:”People are already printing T-Shirts!” Clark:“Do We Get Money from That?” 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I took one look at the runtime and said how long is it going to take me to watch this in increments! i’m 2 hours in and have not been able to walk away! Congratulations, Sir this is next level! A work of art!
Ah yes. Hide the crocodile man in the mythical city of sea monsters. He'll fit right in.
I'm going to focus this comment to everyone that elevated the material here, starting with my man Alberto Borsato. His music is so great it made me want to Tasmanian Devil my house, I loved it so much it drove me crazy. Like Max acknowledges, it's the backbone of this entire thing and I need to know that everyone knows.
Secondly, no wonder Max is considering doing a female focused pitch after this. I thought he was a maniac considering all the effort it took to make this, but after? I don't care how long this is getting, I'm getting all this out:
Bara Kim is my new Lois Lane period, and I'm pretty much demanding that she's all of yours, too. She makes this look so easy; being charismatic, witty, badass, and such a scene stealer. She looks like she belongs in every room that she's in. She's the new Lois in everything and anything. It's over.
Sarah Polednak as Barbara- there's no way you didn't have an absolute blast every time she showed up, she was just so much fun. She had me smiling like an idiot every time she was up, and I hope to see more of her sometime.
Rocio as Zatanna brought some really, really impressive range and acting ability to a more dramatic role. It's so easy to see where somebody else might've come across as amateurish in a role like that but she crushes it. I could easily watch her in a more prominent role, maybe sometime in the future?
Cree as Wonder Woman? Dude, if any woman looks at me like she can while holding a sword, I'm giving up. Here she goes up against Gal Gadot's portrayal, and again I say she comes out on top! She's intimidating, commanding, beautiful (ahem hem) and vulnerable all at the same time. Encore!
Only bc of the length of that, I'll very, very briefly touch on the other performances. I loved Riley as Jimmy. Dant'e gives it his all and is super fun to see as Jones. Al LaFleur had me dying and then immediately feeling sorry for him lol, what a hilarious and talented performer. I could type for days on this, but I'll end here...these characters were pretty great ideas, but these performers made them their own and fully fleshed them out with their own contributions. Wonderful costumes and makeup as well. Finally, again...Alberto.
Rocío gave me chills! The vengance was ighniting her eyes purpley!
I just want a series of Victor and Barry hanging out.
I can imagine how incredible it must have felt to be Barry at that time, his best colaborator was alive! And his biggest nightmare was dead
a Think Tank series of Eddie, Victor, and Barry would be HILARIOUS.
Liked and shared. Not only do you deserve a break, this deserves watching. Well done max. Great stuff
I quite literally poured over american alien and the kryptonian epic, i absolutely love this take of superman- hes never been my favorite superhero but i love how goofy and down to earth clark is, and this entire series is warming me up to the character of superman.
that was a lot of fun thank you for making this, the Shazam bit, the bit with Barry and Victor, and my personal favorite Pete and Diana
It's so surreal to see this come to fruition after three years of listening to your pitches of what I don't doubt would've been an equally great comic series. This is probably my favorite story of the Kryptonian Epic so far, and I can't thank you enough for making it. Can't wait to see how it all ends!
Clark saving Jimmy not with force, but with honest vulnerability and an earnest apology? Absolutely brilliant moment. The best Superman stories are stories about Clark, after all.
Saw upload, screamed incoherently. 10/10
Edit after watching: Diana's i am no man moment gave me actual chills.
Extra edit: SHAZAM!!!
It was surprising, how many questions are open about a synthetic kryptonian?
💪🏽💥
Just finished this, absolutely brilliant! I had a big goofy grin on my face throughout. Loved it, already sharing it with anyone i think will dig it
There’s a lot that I absolutely loved in this story that I will be leaving additional comments about, but the first thing I wanted to say, was that Max, you are an incredibly gifted actor. You always downplay that part of what you do here and yet you play the bulk of the roles in this, and I never felt Like I was looking at Max Landis talking to himself. Every switch felt like a completely different character. Sure the make up and the costume changes help but you really sell it. Totally different people in a fantastic way. It’s really impressive and not a lot of actors could do it as well as you do here. I loved this and I loved your work and I continue to love the kryptonian epic and I’m gonna continue to spread the word.
Congrats to everyone!! Proud to be a part of it, Harrogate is now part of DC comics Cannon.
My day is made, absolutely glorious to see this here for the world to enjoy
I always feel like an Ewok listening to C-3PO in Return Of The Jedi when I watch your videos. Thank you for all you do
Yep. Worth the wait. Fantastic work guys. This works like a stripped down stage piece, I wouldn't mind this as a format outside of the Kryptonian Epic.
I was deleting old e-mails and found a petition I signed 6 years ago, asking for a new season of dirk Gently. Hey, Max. I hope you're doing great, man.
This is closer to the embodiment of a comic book than any movie I’ve seen (my back of the box quote)
Awesome. Beautiful. Art. Thank you, thank you and all your partners. I will watch it again, and again.
I'm grateful for you, Max. Grateful you never gave up on yourself, and never gave up on Superman. Thank you for this
I second this
First Watching!! Sooo stoked!!
Much Love Max and the entire team you had to help you with whatever.
Man, what an intro. 😳 You blew my mind and im only a few minutes in😄
Working through a 14 hour day today this is gonna be my lifeline 🎉🎉🎉
The ambitious way you have created this Epic has been inspiring. From listening and watching your videos about Superman to picking up a copy of American Alien, it has inspired me into wanting to make a fan film series based on Spider-Man that I've been too scared of making yet brave enough to tell my closest friends. Here's to your work, and may is continue to inspire other fans of heroes we adore.
Go Ahead Man make the fan film, I’m sure it will be awesome! I’d be curious to see your take on Spider-Man! Plus I have my own fan written takes on the Marvel and DC universe!
@@henrygambles3652 Thanks for the encouragement. I don't know if or when I make it but like the Max Landis Superman series, it is a "out there" kind of story.
@@DeadManTalking. that’s fine I like out there stuff, I’d be curious to see your take and I have my own takes on Marvel and DC! Which essentially set the stories in modern day without subverting the core of the characters! For instance My First story with Spider-Man “First Swing” is about Peter’s first week as Spider-Man(he’s not even got a proper costume just wearing a costume similar to the Homemade suit from Homecoming) and he becomes so good at it that he attracts the attention of Sergei Kravinoff alongside his brother Dimitri Smyerdakov! Whilst the X-Men,Daredevil and the FF are already established heroes in this take(and Technically Captain America but he’s frozen in ice until the formation of the Avengers)! Whilst on the DC Side Superman and Batman’s stories pick up from just after John Byrne’s Man of Steel and Dark Victory by Jeph Loeb and the late great Tim Sale(so Dick Grayson will be a major character on my take on DC, whether as Robin or Nightwing) with unique takes on their storylines whilst Wonder Woman is part of the Original JSA WWII era of heroes, A Heroine whose friends and family have sacrificed themselves, yet she still keeps going and strives to do what’s right because it’s her duty, with The League forming when the Kryptonian AI known as Brainiac arrives to take Earth consisting of Superman,Batman,Wonder Woman,Green Lantern(John Stewart),The Flash(Barry Allen),Aquaman,Hawkgirl and Martian Manhunter(being heavily JLU inspired)
@@henrygambles3652 Funny thing about the "out there" concept is that my take on Peter Parker never became Spider-Man. Nor does Miles Morales. This takes full advantage of the "Spider-Verse" where in this universe, a series of dominos effect has caused a number of characters to never become the heroes or villains they were supposed to become. So the universe tries to correct itself with having others to become the characters we're used to. Also to be used as an excuse to of not taking place in New York.
@@DeadManTalking. Ah OK interesting concept kind of reminds of an old DC elseworld Story called Two Bullets where Kal El is adopted by the Waynes and Becomes Batman! Marvel also had a alternate story where Bruce Banner became Spider-Man,Steve Rogers became Iron Man and Peter Parker became the Hulk!
Just had to comment, not only for the AMAZING story (seriously, the Kryptonian Epic hasn't missed yet), but also for the insanely high quality of the other actors/editing/producing/whatever else it took to make this masterpiece. Seriously, dude, the only reason I'm not calling this your magnum opus is because I'm 100% sure Starlight Emperor will be even better. Thanks so much for this incredible ride, Max, and I'll be on tenterhooks until the end!
By the “Smoke Weed Before You Watch This” I can already tell this will be better than The Flash
At worst on par if it’s the kind of gods gift to mankind that they say it is and to be worth protecting Ezra Miller
The show or the movie? Or both. Probably both.
@@guitarhero8110 first three seasons are goated but I meant the new movie
@@alexlawrence6440 if somebody calls something goated i know its not good
@@henkdachief fair but first three seasons of that and arrow were pretty good
#1 comic-related content I've seen in a long time. Amazing job, Max. And to see my drawings in the opening sequence?! ... MAN, that's awesome!
The greatest fan fiction ever made. You're an inspiration, Max.
Seeing you outdo yourself time and time again with the Kryptonian epic drives me to do the same with my own work.
son of suns trilogy still mogs
Me too!
It's all I could ever hope for :)
@@Uptomyknees Thanks for including Subject 2W in(I know who he’s meant to be)! I wasn’t expecting him to be in considering how different his mentor is in the main universe compared to here!
@@henrygambles3652 ooh son of Rudy?
I’m trying not try cry while Clark is talking to Mettalo/ jimmy here I go crying love this… dead shots alive? Back to cheetah
Is Savage imprinted with the "Three Lights" on his forehead? A similar pattern to the Brainiac logo?
Apocalypse comes soon....... Fuck yeah!!!!
That Killer Croc fight scene is borderline experimental! Great stuff!
Every time i watch endangered species i see the intro, and the thought crosses my mind that id love to see the kryptonian epic as a tv show
Suck it Night of Champions, here's the real premium event!
Fantastic. Consuming all of this right away. Thank you for sharing your creativity and passion with us.
Now that it’s here I can’t believe how excited I am. I’ve been following this series for two years roughly and I’ve enjoyed every moment. Thank you for this
So pumped🎉
Now I know what I’m doing till the Celtics game tonight lol
Damn man, you tell a compelling story. This is the kind of thing that makes me feel better about the future of super hero-based stories. What's most surprising to me is that most people working on their own projects without a studio or bankers looking over their soldier are bad at cutting out fluff, but I thought for the story you were telling it was fairly tight with good pacing.
The benefit of having a good editor
Where do I even begin? This film is absolutely wonderful and a triumph in world of fan-films. Easily the best comic book fan-film I’ve ever seen, managing to tell the story of a superhero blockbuster with what I can only imagine as a sliver of the budget. Here’s various things that stuck out to me in particular:
- Alberto’s score is brilliant here, his themes really elevate these projects to the next level.
- The editing and VFX, while limited, really add that extra spice to build the world. This combined with the AMAZING costume and makeup design, the sound design, and the narration helps really pull off the visualization of the film. A lot is left to the imagination, and that somehow… helps? Actually? It takes eyes away from how low budget it is and instead allows me to immerse myself in the story further. Very cool format that as a filmmaker, I’d love to play with more.
- One last mention to the costumes and makeup. Brilliant work. The creature designs are fantastic, but honestly it’s not those that I’m most impressed by, it’s the look for Vandal Savage. Like seriously, you look near unrecognizable lol.
- Speaking on performances, I know you constantly say you’re not an actor, but I really gotta shout out your work here. Your performances as Lex and Ollie in particular I found incredibly captivating, with Ollie being just as equally annoying and charming as you’ve described him to be, and Lex being oh so utterly maniacal. That stereotypical villain laugh you gave him? Genuinely one of my favorite traits you’ve added to the character.
- Speaking of Lex, now getting to the actual story, the Lex vs Z scene was so awesome man! Probably my favorite part of the movie. Lex donning all the weapons developed by his own mad scientists made for such a cool moment, kinda felt like your version of the classic Lex “warsuit.”
- Other scenes I really loved: Any action scene, you describe them beautifully. Green Arrow’s “death” was super emotional, man. Arthur calling Clark his brother nearly made me cry. The final confrontation with Kirk and the reveal of the kids was perfect. I wonder if this’ll lead to Clark and Lois adopting them. Oh, and Clark talking Black Mask down and making him cry. Perfect Superman moment.
- The use of other actors in this really helped. The gimmick of you playing so many different characters is fun and all, but including others was definitely the right call. The dynamic you’re able to have with Bara, Riley, Rocío, etc. brings this to the next level. They really are all incredible actors and I hope you’re able to work with them in further projects.
- Lmao, I did NOT expect Ultra-Humanite to die immediately. I thought he was gonna have a much bigger role, so that really set up a “anything can happen” feeling. But now I wonder how Lex is gonna get out of this situation, since Vandal seems to kill almost everybody he comes across.
- Maxwell Lord is such a Lex simp.
- Blue Beetle and Riddler’s absences were really felt in this story, sadly, and I do wish you kept their scenes in. While we already know what happens with Eddie, I hope you can show us a bit more about Ted and Dick during this.
I probably didn’t even cover everything but this comment is getting really long haha. This film was just so creatively inspiring and is gonna stick with me so so much. You’re brilliant, Max, and so is everyone else involved in this. What an absolute joy to watch.
Thank you so much for this beautifully written comment!!!!!!!
And yeah, I miss Ted and Eddie too, but since we didn't have actors for them their scenes felt a little long. I'll post later.
I am here for every second of this adventure. This is everything I hoped for and more. Everyone needs to see this.
Finally! I'm so glad you were able to make and put this out here man! Congratulations!
Actually my most anticipated superhero-related anything for 2023! Gotta share this with as many people as possible. Amazing work Max, excited for the journey!
Watching this tonight with my husband, and again with a friend coming in for a nerd visit from the UK in July.
This is everything i want comic films to be after watching your kryptonian epic nothing DC has put out recently even compares, Please never stop doing this.
Shit I actually started to get really excited when I saw this was uploaded. I'm really impressed with this experimental form of storytelling you're doing Max. Thanks for your hard work, and for the wonderful art that you create for this channel. I hope you feel proud.
I fucking love that Pete runs the super friends
Honestly, I'm just mad these aren't movies I'm seeing at the actual cinema. Keep it up, Max!
I absolutely love this take on Barbara Ann Minerva.
Combination of Priscilla Rich's origin (OG Cheetah. The rich privileged egotist), Contessa Erica Alexandra del Portenza (Lex Luthor's wife back in the late 90s), and her DCAU Cheetah genetics transformation.
Making Cheetah Lex's ex wife... I DON'T KNOW WHY, IT WORKS!!!!
The James bond style intro at 8 mins was great
1:51:22
This man is a master storyteller in multiple mediums, but I LOVE that you can see (or he threw in ) a HUGE nod to the fact that he mastered his craft pitching movies.
He throws in a product placement moment right when he gets to the big action. Imagine the exec in the pitch room. Story is great is great so far. Big emotional, funny beats. "Could this really work?" they think... 1:51.22 BAM! YELLING! ACTION!! PRODUCT PLACEMENT!! DOLLAR SIGNS!!! GREENLIGHT!!
Watched on the biggest screen I have. Smoked before watching.
Thanks Max.
I know you have put just a wild, crazy amount of everything into this.
I hope it is rewarding enough that you are not done. :) This will always be my cannon version of who Clark is.
This strikes me as a criminally underused narrative format, and I loved every second I was being told this story.
The kriptonian epic has mader me want to write my own dc universe, so thanks for that max
BUCKLE UP! I'M READY FOR THIS.
I loved this so much, it was so well polished and written. Editing on point. Acting was truly amazing- max your characterizations astonished me again and again. Bravo dog!! But all around stellar ensemble performances too. Not to mention brilliant staging, framing, pacing, color grading/lighting/cinematography. James Gunn needs your visionary help IMO because this is perfectly encapsulates the soul of the DC comic characters I grew up with and love yet has such a fresh and exciting take on it all that I couldn’t stop watching. Rewatch impending !!!! Thanks for all the brilliant effort. Bravo yo 🎉
Can confirm:: it's even better on the rewatch. Wow.
I forgot to mention the amazingly intricate sound design - chefs kiss
I love this. I love it. I fucking love it. Holy shit. I am begging everyone who will listen to me rant about how good this is to set aside two hours to watch. I took the advice at the start of the show and oh my God everything unfolded and came together just like you said it would oh my God holy shit it is so nice to just have something you hoped would be amazing come out and just completely defy expectations. I loved this.
Bravo, man. Serious. You absolutely fucking nailed it.
Goodness Max! That was phenominal!! Your energy and presenation! The acting and writing!! This is coming from someone who hasnt bothered with a superhero movie in a while now. Mind blown and Bravo!!! I thank you for Such a pure passion project and for your efforts. I truly hope that your visions will return to rock the other screen once the madness passes. One more thank You for this epic.
My guy, since seeing you on Kinda Funny years ago, I've been fascinated with how well you are able to convince me to be as invested as you are in whatever story or idea you felt was important enough to tell me. For whatever reason, you have this intrinsic charisma that the feels ancient. Like, humans need stories, and so there's always been some weird dude that hangs out near the edge of the tribe looking out at the stars and just mumbling shit to himself, and every full moon or so, that weird dude would just build a huge bonfire, light it, and start telling everyone the weird shit they've thought of. Anyway, this new mix between theatre, film, and you at the center of it all is your bonfire. I hope for you and everyone involved, it was as enjoyable to make as it was to watch. Y'all killed it
Man THANK YOU, seriously you and these are the best thing on youtube!!! Im at work so im trying to wait to watch this but I keep finding myself hiding in the bathroom to watch a few min more
People who made me love comics in no order (but in order)

Haven't seen the whole thing yet but it's already worth the wait. Cheers Max, thanks for continuing to do your thing.
- another Max
Goddamn Max, I've been busy this last month so I'm catching it late, but you really made something incredible here.
So happy you're back, Max! (And in such an incredible way!) Brilliant, beautiful writing. ❤
As a Superman fan and a follower of your work since American alien Words can’t express how much enjoyment and gratitude I wish to convey to you as I’ve followed you on this passion project
So long post short thank you
Thats was great. The narration cuts/scenes in particular look really well done
Thank you so much Max. This epic means more to me than I can ever begin to say.
Keep rockin buddy.
Of course he drops this when I'm on my way out for the day. This will be fun later tonight
Did not disappoint. Epic is the right word. Really appreciate the effort put into making this. Thank you.
The Rock voice* "The hierarchy of power in the DC universe is about to change."
Just amazing! So obvious how much passion, effort and love went into making this
Wow, it's out! Can't wait to watch! Good job on all the hard work and effort everyone put into this!
It was so good! the weed helped, but this had the heart of Top Gun, the style of Into the Spider-Verse, and the mind twists of a Nolan movie. I love it.
AHHHH IT'S HERE IT'S HERE

FINALLY!!!!!!!!! BEST EARLY BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVER!!!!!
"Barbara, you're having a conversation with yourself" is an absolutely brilliant line
This was one of the best things I have watched in a long time. I didn't want it to end.
There hasn’t been a piece of work you’ve done that I haven’t just loved for it’s creativity. From death of Superman and the DC superhero’s fighting Doomsday to your pitch to do a contemporary Lord of the Rings story with Michael B Jordan.
Telling these wonderful stories aren’t easy and there aren’t enough leaps taken to tell them. Thank you for this! Love it.
I really appreciate what you did here. So great. Superman means alot to me and it shows he means alot to you as well. Thank you for this.
I've been following since the beginning and now I can't wait to continue!
WOOO I didn't think you were gonna do that particular hero, even if it's extremely different. This is also the best Kirk Langstrom ever written, this is shine the likes of which I've always wanted to ol' Manbat get.
This is awesome! Just awesome!
Clark is such a great character!
How did you pull this off? This must have cost a fortune!
The costumes and make-up are fantastic!
Amazing! Really amazing!
This is what it’s all about! The passion for storytelling is everything!
Whatever happens, please continue with your stories!
Who is the narrator? He is he a character in the story?
Please make such a movie every week!
More! Stories! Please!
the make up omg
Wow. It's here.
Your work has honestly been my most anticipated superhero content for so long now, thanks for sticking with it
Wow! Thank you so much!
you are fucking insane for giving max landis your own money holy shit
BRAVO!!! Excellent work! This has been such a ride. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again… The storytelling here is magnificent! Good job to everyone involved!
That Man-bat makeup looks awesome
Love this universe and the amount of love, thought, and passion you have brought to it! Can’t wait for starlight emperor!
WAIT WAIT WAIT
OK SO I am watching this again. Some fun thoughts. I numbered it because to help with formatting.
First: I love that Parasite from American alien becomes a good guy with Clark accepting him.
SECOND: And I can't believe the obvious thing here.
The THREE LIGHTS are punctured into Randall Savage right eye. LIKE BRAINIAC'S DOTS
3rd: Just hilarious about Krytonite Bullet, like what Batman's plan was to kill him.
4th: Technically Clark didn't break the rules. Clark wasn't invited. SUPERMAN COULD FLY IN
5th Cheatta spot on the eyes
6th I just love the Black mask bit
7: MAYBE IT ALL GOES RIGHT BARRY!? DO YOU WANT TO DIE BARRY!? Also supe wants kids lois, get SUPERBOY GOING
8: ITS COOL
9: LEX calling Jimmy, James
10: Lord is just a young News guy
11. WALLERRRRRRR OK SO Theory I think Doomsday was found by Waller. Gave him an education, CREATED THE WORST but coolest bad guy, he breaks out years ago, BECAME DARKSEID, STARTED AN EMPIRE
12: TEAM FLASH-FREEZE
13: Bruce just picking up his mind somwehre
14.: THE LAUGHS
15: I get to do a Monologue and everything, also her hairless count is obviously one of the cloned cats
16: Also its just SO well put together with a HUNTER(Green arrow) hunting an animal lol
17: METALLO, Lex literally kept the mask on to dose him.
18: Just a nice conversation, a heart on his sleeve type of who is Clark
19: IT HAD SUUUcked
20. Lois and Clark have matching Shakira ringtones lol
21: The classic idea of what Max thinks of Superman he saves you from a car trouble and says a funny line, its the best
22: Classic match up
23: OF COURSE HE KEEPS HIS CHILD GOGGLES AND PILOT CAP
24: I always appreciate how the Scarecrow Gas effects EVERYONE
25: THE KIDS
26: EXPLODING KIDS, and Lang figuring out that Clark is part of that pod that grows kryptonians based off the planet.
27: Also like a double entendre for endangered species of Clark, being alone.
28. LEX saying "Not you" so he ran into Savage BEFORE!?
PETE ONCE AGAIN COMES OUT ON TOP
I was no joke expecting to trip her with a shovel
The music was amazing in the character moments. Barry, Lex and Clark themes are so fucking fitting.
The hype was real and it delivers.
Congratulations!
Before I watch would like to say thank you max and will be posting a longer comment after watching full video. We all appreciate the time, effort and love you have put into your art thank you
🎉🎉🎉
Just finished it a few minutes ago... Amazing work Max I'm always impressed with your work, its truly inspiring!
Billy "Bat" Son. 🎉
Nailed it.
So does this mean Billy isnt magical
@@asombrosohombre-arana471 Not unless you consider photosynthesis to be magical.
Why does he need to say "Shazam" to activate his powers if his powers are a synthetic creation?
@@JUTUUBFAN good question
Wilder than expected from the framework of the Kryptonian epic so far 😂
