- How to make your own zero resistance plugs IMPOSSIBLE to buy in parts stores, and do it in less than 15 minutes with stuff you've already got hanging around your shop!
Do you want to get even MORE out of YOUR fuel? That's exactly what we do at GadgetmanGroove.com EVERY DAY.
With this true advancement in gasoline engine technology, we make a small adjustment in a single part that all gasoline engines share and make HUGE changes in your fuel efficiency!
Thousands of customers agree. "It's AMAZING!!!"
And we just released something you won't believe! Go to SnakeOil.wtf and see for yourself! - Авто/Мото
It's important to note that not all Champions are made with tops that unscrew. Many have a one piece unit that will snap if you try and unscrew it, but for those that can be unscrewed this is a great hack.
How do you find ones with screw cap
Don't your new wire just slip down through the spring without contact?
Thank GOD for our curiosity and Enginuity!! I appreciate this idea!
NICE VIDEO, but...
"First thing you do", as you say, should be: try to loosen the end of the plug, gently, with the pliers (or by hand)...sometimes they are thst loose!
To find them in stores you need to ask for racing plugs. Its best to double check online if the racing plug doest have resistance. (Cause in store they won't know). While you're online match up the plug thread, the depth, the seal, the center electrode hight and if space is limited match the socket size of the plug.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP
On newer cars this will 100% kill your coil faster. The only benefit this has is with old tractors or engines with a points ignition. If you are reading this and saying whats a points ignition? don't do this.
Nada...that is mitigated by your suppressor wires, which has the majority of the ohms resistance...NOT the plug.
Only magneto style ignitions benefit from NO suppressoion wires of the spark.
Thank for the explanation. I too have a lot of butane to waste.
Oh! should I refer you to be the best grandpa you teach in a unique way.keep up the good work.congrats.
Thanks, awesome. Didn’t know they had resistor there 😉👌🏼
It’s there for a reason. Lower resistance thru plugs and wires can cause radio interference.
@@kylewillms5133 am wave interference right?
thats really interesting! Im gonna try that on my mower before i test it on my car though cos i just put new plugs in the car and its a devil of a job to get to them
How did it work out on ur mower any difference?
You should have done a before and after resistance test.
I have a 1985 Suzuki outboard it does have a cdi but book calls for a Non Resister so I order 3 NGK B8HS from Amazon they send me 3 NGK BR8HS , performance is important
i bet t5his would really get those hard to start 2cycles to run in cold weather
Dear, Greetings, is this method suitable for any car? Does it improve fuel consumption? There is damage to it. Greetings
A man after my own heart. I too have to tear things apart and see what makes it tick. If you pay someone to fix things, you have learned nothing.
How bad does this affect your ECU or sensor functions?
Don't forget your GPS and any near by cell phones!
you don't need to removed the resistor find a similar model a none resistor plug
Easier said than done - many spark plugs are no longer available as non-resistor.
The FCC will want to have a word with you, the RF noise your vehicle will be throwing will not only mess with your radio but also your computer, cell phone, gps and those of the vehicles around you. Also this will cause your coil packs to run hot and burnout quickly.
I don't see any reason that it will burn the coil packs out.
I ran my 1995 Monte Carlo for 7 years doing this, there is no interference even with the radio or my phone signal. I’m honestly unsure what it could interfere with because it never had any problems from running that way.
@@Dragonmichael68 Do you have to make the plug gap more narrow with non resistors?
It will definitely wear out the coil pack and spark plug much faster but not over night. the performance and gas savings you get out are worth it.
I have a set of old AC non resistor plugs. does it raise the heat range ? do i need to run resistor wires ?
The heat range is not regulated by the spark, it has to do with the length of the insulator.
used to work on older MB s for decades , then one year the non resistor plugs went away , just available from dealer [ bosch plugs ] .So now only fr om my wholesaler you get the R plugs , resistor . So now using those plugs on all the cars , i noticed zero difference . Cars ran same . Same with platinum plugs . Would like to have Bosch opinion on that issue .
Diy like this guy then try it
thank you grandpa😚😚
Why do they make resistance plugs in the first place, is it to cause less static in the radio??
Personally, there are better ways to reduce static on your radio. Put a capacitor from the power lead to ground. This won't drain the power to your plugs, either!
@@thegadgetmangroove6304 This is really intersting. I heard in another video that the voltage resistor was introduced so that it wouldn't interfere with the complex electronics in the ECU of modern engines. Did your car have modern type ignition and stuff ? Theres a vid i just watched and he bought a plug wihtout a resistor for an older type motorbike, so the old resistor-less plugs are still available.
Teach us on how to increase sparks on a plug
Can you make solid core wires from copper wire?
You can buy solid core wires!
Does this work on go karts?
Never tried it, but it should. With no computer to deal with it's just simple Tracy G.
A lot of CDIs won't last long with out low resistance plugs.
Thank you great video!

Can't we just buy non resistor plugs to start with?
No they don't make them as effective as these modified ones
