Thanks a lot for your video. Unfortunately it didn't work for me. Just bought the printer, the ink cartridges came with the printer (they are the correct ones, I've checked), everything is clean, I removed the protective tape from the cartridges but it still doesn't work.
And thank you RUclips without you this tech world would be a nightmare! My tech problem solving goto.

I've done all the procedure to fix the problem. even unplug and reset the printer but still I get E0 code if I try to install the color cartridge. Hp support sent me a new one and still doesn't work. Is it possible that the same cartridge that created the issue, broke my printer? I tried to install the previous one (that was working) and I still get the same error. thantks

My experience is the HP instank ink cartridge replacement is a POS. doesn't work. Printing these days is a racket, probably always has been. I probably printed 20 copies on this HP Envy 6455e before running out. wtf? Interesting that when I replaced the cartridge, 2 minutes later I get an email from HP saying something about Ink subscription. Spies everywhere.
I have an HP Instant Ink account. I haven't been printing much from home since returning to work last September. Coincidentally, I was mailed new cartidges and am required to change the existing ones (only after this video explained the error codes) even though ink levels are half full. Gotta' laugh!

I replaced ink from instant and used a genuine ink cartridge but it doesn't accept it. Plus I only bought black but that shouldn't stop it working
any way to bypass if you got the wrong cartridge? 304 and 305 are IDENTICAL yet it doesn't work. It's stupid.
Would love some help with this - when I open the lid, the cartridges don't move, they just stay stuck all the way to the right. Any advice?

He forgot to mention that if are using Instant ink Cartridges and you are NOT enrolled in Instant ink that you will NEVER be able to clear the E0 error unless one you re-enroll into the HP instant ink program because the ink cartridges you're using were from the instant ink cartridge program 42 go down to your local store and go buy your HP 67 cartridges from your local store if you're not enrolled in instant ink the dude must work for HP because he failed to mention the most important thing that will screw up your printer which then just makes you angry

If the ink runs out will it also give the same E/0 message? Seems the ink has run out. After just 14 pages. 🤨🤔 And I didn't subscribe for the cartridge supply because I am an infrequent user. They clearly don't make these things like they did in the old days.
I am have the same problem with this piece of crap HP printer. I miss my ancient Brother printer that finally gave out.

They are just greedy, they want people to buy more ink even when there is still some ink in.
They basically are using my ink to print the instructions paper to replace the ink while refusing to print the document i want to print
These printers are absolute crap ... ohh god I miss the information screen so much that was on my last one. I will never purchase a printer without an easy to check info screen again.
HP makes terrible printers. Their only goal is to sell ink as inconveniently as possible.
agree. totally. what can you do? We had a Canon for years until the message saying we've exceeded the limit. Literally, the printed copy just before the error was perfect. Nothing wrong but a software constraint. I think I'll just go back to a typewriter.
My black ink cartridge is almost full and it just started throwing the E0 error after printing 1 page without issue. This thing is a piece of shit.
