    That is incredible. What a dive! Congrats! Longest I've held my breath for was 2 minutes 38 seconds in dry apnea. I hope that one day I'll be able to join the competitive freediving scene. It seems like the perfect sport for my bodies capabilities at this stage of my life.

    I still cannot believe how you got lost with cylinders and an aqua scooter at only 40 meters… In this record video, you leave the float bag at 40 meters and surface on your own. It is unbeliavable. I am very sad.

      @@bjarkik128 Andrea demonstrates his mouthfill technic here which is an equalization protocol he has largely contributed to spread in the world of freediving via workshops. Whereas at 185m or at 30m for an advanced freediver, this is the same process but expertly delivered here by Andrea. The dive shown in this video is with a nose clip but it also can be done with a mask: ruclips.net/video/ALYFaHse0G0/видео.html.

    Good on you, Andrea, for recognizing your limit and staying safe. But I thought that no-limits divers had switched from a tank-filled float bag to a solid float that does not need gas, for added safety. I guess not. I don't go deep but I love freediving. All the pretty fishes and the corals and the turtles, and if I'm really lucky, the occasional shark. It's a wonderful world down there and we can enjoy it without going deep at all.

    grande andrea una domanda. ma perché in questo video ( ruclips.net/video/msKSZSBj1Tw/видео.html ) spieghi che ci sono stati problemi di narcosi con gli occhialini? non capisco il legame tra occhialini e narcosi.
    e perché, con la maschera, nel caso, non potresti continuare a farci sognare?

    • @andreazuccari
      @andreazuccari  5 лет назад

      Enrico Ronconi Ciao Enrico, la spiegazione scientifica non te la posso dare, abbiamo solo teorie, ma sembrerebbe che con un senso in meno (la vista) la percezione della narcosi é maggiore. Con la maschera ero un po’ al limite ai 175 mt non so quanti in più potrei farne. Inoltre dopo uno dei tuffi a 185 mt ho avuto delle sintomatologie neurologiche. Tentare di andare oltre forse sarebbe pericoloso, forse un giorno mi dimostreranno il contrario, ma credo che a queste quote siamo vicini ai limiti fisiologici in apnea.
