@@urbanstrencan Great pick! The Dakar’s off-road capability makes it such a unique 911-one of our favourites too! Thanks for sharing! - Adam @DriverReviews
This is the best car to come out of Flacht in nearly a decade (911R), and there is nothing on the market today for under $2Million that will give you the same experience (500+hp, manual, NA), it’s this, the 911 GT3T, or GMA T50/T33. In a world where every Lamborghini is a hybrid, and neither Lamborghini nor Ferrari have made a manual car in over a decade, it’s no wonder why people will spend the crazy ADMs they do for this car, but it’s still crazy!
This reminds me of the good old Fifth Gear days.. so glad to see and hear you talk and drive cars again.. now we only need Tiff to join for one or more episode 😃
For some reason this episode reminds me of Tiff. Imagine Tiff as guest and Vicki together reviewing this legendary sports car both at track and on the road. Vicki doing lap times and Tiff perform his signature big angle high speed drift ❤❤❤❤❤
Sorry we can’t bring Tiff to the channel but we will be bringing to the channel three times British touring car champion Gordon Shedden to review and drive cars with Vicki - we hope that will be entertaining enough for you ⭐️Thanks for watching! Nick @DriverReviews
Agreed, was thinking the same. There's something in Vicky's style and presentation here that's very Tiff-like. But of course it's great to see Vicki presenting again.
The front, the scoops and slats, so perfect. That wheel opening behind the front wheel looks tastefully done. The color! That blue paint is gorgeous, as well as the interior. And those wheels. I can't imagine driving a car like this that weighs less than a Civic Type R. This and Cayman GT4 are my favorite looking Porsches. And of course. Great review. You have great talent showcasing this car.
Thanks for the positive feedback on our review . We have several great videos going live in the coming weeks so please keep watching our channel. Nick @DriverReviews
ugly as FCUK these fat overweight water cooled Porsche cars . Should have retired after 993. only SINGER are making 911s worthy of the badge these days . IRONIC given they now being sued by Porsche ( too successful ) tells you everything .
As a rule (or a fact) 911 owners don’t buy the car (whichever version) because they seek silence. On the contrary, they look forward to listening to the unique sound of the flat-6. Hence the sports exhaust toggle on the cars that are thus equipped. For those who aren’t the happy few to enjoy or wait for their S/T (all sold out), there is option B : the lovely new 992.2 Carrera T with its manual 6 speed box (no PDK available). No doubt a delight to drive and no slouch, for a fraction of the price of the S/T. 😎
Great review as always Vicky. This is my favourite current 911 (would have one over a 992 GT3RS because of the manual gearbox) and maybe my favourite car on sale today. Thank you Porsche for sticking with the unbeatable formula of a high revving normally aspirated engine with a brilliant manual gearbox married to superb dynamics.
oh my, I haven't even started watching the video, but I like this colour, it's making me feel a bit uncomfortable, in the loving way! Just as I thought, this is one of the most beautiful ones I've seen👌
It's stunning, but there's so many models and so many of them, it's going to depreciate like a stone... maybe enough I'll be able to afford one one day, fingers crossed.
If the seat is the same as the GT3RS then you can adjust the height .... there's a toggle switch on the front right hand side of the seat ... but no recline option in the 981 bucket.
Glad you started your own channel. 5th gear was really turning into a boring “how’s the interior and exterior look” show. Hope Jason does something similar too.
Nice review. I just stumbled across this channel and it looks like you are fairly new. Any chance you could do a review of the Cayman GTS 4.0 before it goes extinct?
@@Hairyderriere By 'you' I meant the DriverReviews channel, not the reviewer. The oldest video I see on here is 7 months. While this is the first time I have seen one of her videos, I could infer from the other comments that Vicky had been around.
That’s also a great choice, especially as the new 992.2 GT3 touring has the option of rear seats and gorgeous front carbon folding bucket seats. Thanks for watching! - Nick @DriverReviews
You’d be saving a whopping $5K (if not paying more) and your car would be: heavier, subjectively less special looking (the cutout wheel arch), rev slower (no single mass flywheel), more sound insulation/less sounds, 15 fewer horsepower, 15 fewer lb-ft torque
Regardless of price, I prefer and have bought a 2023 c2s. To me, the car is the best variant except maybe a gt3 touring. It's body is made of mostly aluminum and steel which is better than composite materials. No thin glass either. It is not heavy and more than enough hp and torque. So happy it has no carbon fiber and alcantara interior. The weight savings of the ST is not that desirable, not worth the louder noise. The 992.1 c2s has the best balance and more beautiful with the design package front and rear.
Is the Porsche 911 S/T the ultimate tribute to 60 years of 911 heritage, or does another model steal the spotlight? Let us know what you think!
Probably the perfect Porsche, but for me is 911 Dakar ❤❤❤❤

Can’t afford S/T with inflated price. Got a committed allocation for 992.2 GT3 touring. Hopefully it is indeed 85% of a S/T
Get on the line, Porsche has already chosen the recipients so hard luck.
So good to see Vicky reviewing cars again - well done .

Well said! I'm lucky enough to have a GT4 in Crayon and it's amazing, but I would love it even more in this colour!
I received my ST yesterday 😊...perfect 911 manual of modern day Porsche
What number is it? I get mine in January and wanted to see where they are on the run?
I’m looking at a Feb delivery date so I too woundn’t mind knowing the run

Stumbled across Vicky again! Thanks RUclips recommendations.
Beautiful machine great review Vicky. What a treat to drive👍😎👍
This is the only 911 I would choose in a heartbeat over any other 911s. The S/T is peak Porsche.
Agreed 👍🏽
Thanks for the review Vicky you’re looking marvelous as usual
I had the chance to see one up close a few months back and this thing is so beautiful in person.
Vicky! It's been too long an absence for your American audience, nice to see you again with an appropriate Porsche. Nice car, nice job, well done!
Thanks VBH your reviews are always a breath of fresh air .
Love them ❤

perfect size of the infotainment screen! and a manual . a perfect car.
Vicki, your reviews are so good that I feel I could buy a car without even looking at it or driving it 😊 Thanks for another great video 👍
Excellent viki wow what a motor...I'll have 2....1 for Sundays 😂gazz

24k gold badge, I wonder how much that will cost to replace every time it is stolen

So glad to see you enjoying your driving experience again.
That's probably the best car in the world
I agree! ☝️ ❤
the "1963-2023" on the rear badge seemed ominous...as if to say that Porsche has died at age 60 (1963-2023) :(
More like the obituary for the naturally aspirated manual Porsche, well, it would be 1948-2027, but that day is coming soon sadly!
Looks like VBH needs a periscope!😂
I had no idea Vicki was on RUclips, subscribed!
Thanks for subscribing , we have new videos coming every 2 weeks. Nick @DriverReviews
Porsche UK should just auction them off after being produced. 😎
That's more or less what's happening, it seems.
I have always lusted for a GT3 RS, however, reality bites and this car would be much better, does it have a stereo Vicky?
4 liters / 6 cylinders = 6 x 666 cc : the numbers of the beast.....
Likes like all the other VVW 911s
Good luck with that price. I would rather crawl naked over broken glass than beg a Porsche dealership to sell me one of these.
I expect they are all sold aready. I guess you know the price of everything and the value of nothing.
I'd crawl naked over broken glass to share a ride with Vicki😂
Absolutely agree, porsche has lost the plot in the last 5 years
Don't worry bro, the glass only hurts a little at first. I'm getting mine in black.
With your butt?
Lovely car, all agree. But at those prices ("plus...") you're not far off some of the vitage restomod offerings. And I know which I'd go for.
Rapitidy is a an actual word. Thanks for the English lesson, Vicky!
Rapidity, surely
No it's not
Stunning but to expensive Vicky ❤
What a fantastic looking 911! Pity about the colour though, it looks from the video, like a delicate shade of "sewage outfall grey".
It IS the ultimate 911!
VBH.
THERE IS ONLY ONE.
SHE IS AN UTTER LEGEND.
MODERN CAR REVIEWERS CANNOT HOLD A CANDLE TO HER NAME.
Great to see Vicky in her element … lovely car, perhaps a little too much tech for me … will keep my 997.1 Carrera S and Vicky will not need a cushion
Thats one beautiful car.
I wish Porsche would make cars wirhe dimensions of the 70s and 80s. In my opinion, they are just too wide nowadays
They ages very well😊
It’s not noise, it is sound
i'l get the 2025 911 GT3 touring with full options.thank you😂😅

Hopefully the prices of these will drop dramatically now that the 992.2 Touring is about 90% S/T. Tired of these greedy flippers 😤
It’s lovely - but not at that price…..
Which UK & European dealer should a I purchase through? Yes I'll have two for convenience.
Lovely car with beautiful smile.
Bellissima elegante colore passionale❤

Hi @daytonaeagle we love the 911R too especially if it’s in white with a double green stripe. Thanks for watching Nick@DriverReviews

Prices of 200k
Insane
God Vikki looks like she doesn't age
I doubt motoring gets any better than this. I'll have number 1963 please😊
The most desirable 911 for me. 🥰
I understand the legacy of calling the car S/T, however being a celebration of 60 years of 911 perhaps labeling it the 6/T would have been more fun?
Lovely car - but personally the GT4RS is currently the bluechip performance Porsche
Not a great tyre in the damp weather
every year there is an Anniversary or an ultimate 911.
The new 911 T at £111,000 looks good enough for me, RWD and a manual 6 gear box.
We also love the Carrera T and have driven the 991.2 and 992.1 generations (manual of course) thanks for watching our video - Nick @DriverReviews
I’m a lazy sports car owner, I require a PDK ;)
This is the car from the movie.
Simplistic prettiness
Almost as raw as my 996 GT3 minus the cool headlights!
I prefer no wing tbh
They are all sold.
So much better than the 3RS
Порше это история. Это Бренд. Это как Коньяк очень Старый и он не каждому доступен. Этот автомобиль для богатых и сильных в мире несправедливости
One cushion might not be enough.
Better than most men!.. ❤
964 is the daddy...
Great car, shame about the price!
11.06 is either in an Escalade or she’s a hobbit
Very high side door
FINALLY! A good-looking 911! A great car finally looks the part. But the PRICE? I-N-S-A-N-E. Rich boy toy. Arab prince bling.
How ridiculous that price for a hyped up 911 most people would just thick it's a rebadged 911
A beautiful car & its not electric.
