Thank you, brings back a lot of memories Richy. 14 years ago this month we were there. South of the Atlas mountains had to get our radiator fixed. As the story goes some bloke went off with it in a taxi, wondered if we would ever see it again!! Came back the next day all fixed. Amazing place to visit, so close yet so far!

Looks like a great trip Richy. I thought you were quite brave on that trail to bunny rock. It looked like a very steep drop. Also, giving your wheel's to the man you had never scean before was a risk which luckly paid off for you.

When we were there we got swamped by blokes with long shirts, wanting to help with trip, they came from Ceuta the Spanish border to Tetoana, on there bikes showed us a hotel with basement bike parking.

I was really enjoying this video, right up to the point where you were describing the local culinary delight, bread and baby pigeon and there they all were crammed into a cage waiting to be killed alongside what looked like living and dead hens on the ground. I’m looking forward to the rest of the tour but I can’t stand to see animals being mistreated. 👍

I remember asking for beer with our dinner and was told no beer then a small chap approached me 5 minutes later and fixed it for us some ice cold Casablanca fantastic people and country, enjoying the vids looking forward to next instalment 👍

It's interesting Rich, it's almost indistinguishable from Andalucia, apart from the Arabic signage. Those concrete roads...very familiar.
Richy I did my tour with Wildcat Adventures (Based in Bridge of Allen )
John had many years of touring Morocco.
We went early 2008 Did Plymouth to Santander then two days through Spain to Tariffa then the ferry to Tangiers with a Short ride to Asilah for our first night then on down to Chechaouen and beyond.
I’m not sure if John is still operating his tours as he would be a bit more mature than me.
Your hassle finding your hotel reminded me of the hassle we had finding a hotel a hotel in Berlin the GPS’s just died in the city centre we ended up hiring a taxi to lead us (24 bikes) to the hotel.

I was in chefchouen in 2019 ramadan on a month long tour on my tracer 900. Couldn't get a beer, but was offered hashish and opium!

I honestly can't think of a better bike for this trip than the Africa Twin.
I'm sure other bikes could make the trip. But I think the Honda has the perfect mix of everything. Comfort, performance, tech, economy, off-road capable.

@@RichyVida Street view is a great help for the common roads, suppose the uncharted is for discovery in person only. Amazing how we expected the technology we have at hand to provide us with everything where in reality the true gems need the physical presence to see it. The winters tour were great as you said but think following the sun this time has rewarded you and the viewers 😎
