I bought it. Gotta say the best phone i have owned so far. Everything about this phone is great. Performance, battery is top notch. Best part is the software. Its straight up there with ios. Only if they include notification counters on messaging/email apps that would be icing on the cake.
Been using more than a week & so far sooooooooo good! These are the facts making the Phone (2) the moment that matter. *Extraordinary Build quality. *Fascinating & head turning design. *Fast & fluid Nothing OS 2.0.1. *Fantastic & functional Glyphs Lights. *Fabulous battery power management. *Fully accessible & customizable Widgets (Lock + Home screens). *Ultimate Android Experienced like no others.
Crazy because I ordered mine as soon as pre orders were available and still hasn't arrived. Tracking has it going from NY, to Ohio, to different areas of NJ. Sucks....
Amazing review, it was so detailed and chill, and I learned something new with the " don't copy data " thing, thank you! Im already waiting the N(2), I had to purchase it, looks great! Also it would be nice to see an Ear review/video comparison :)
It would be nice to see a video on the ear 2 running on nothing phone 2 as it now has an updated manual equaliser. I use tidal and honestly the output from tidal and standard settings was already really good. But with manual EQ settings it just really pops and dare I say it, but just for sound quality, the ear 2 sound better then my AirPods Pro 2. As for the phone itself, I’ve encountered very little in the way of anything negative. My only gripes are the google search bar doesn’t theme, so I removed it in setting and just use the google app/icon. Fingerprint sensor is too low which you rightly mentioned. And although the camera isn’t in no way bad, it wasn’t the leap I thought it would be. Most notably nighttime is just not that good. And I’m not sure how many companies will ever invest in utilising the glyph system. As great as the phone is I actually think it’s strong point and the reason most should by it is for nothing OS. As trick as glyph is, it’s not a good enough singular reason. But I would say it’s a great solid all round phone with a nice party trick if your into tron lol.
Using last years top of the line processor to drop the price is a viable strategy. Just keep optimizing and improving the cameras, add a zoom lens, and keep improving software support and customer care.
@@MarksTechYou can also rub it in the face of TechOdessey because he didn't get a review unit😅 Maybe a battle between this and the OnePlus 11 could be interesting 🤔
Flat screen? Is there an advantage or why is it preferred. Curved screen? Same question, not sure if any pros or cons. Personally I’ve never found an advantage of either. One disadvantage of a curved screen is swiping from the side, the Galaxy phone have menus triggered at the edge. Gimmicky.
So, Nothing phone 2 or Xiaomi 13? What would you prefer now? Before that, you made a good review on the Xiaomi 13. I'm just now choosing between these two. And as for cameras comparison , what would be the better choice?
Waiting for your upcoming honest review on the camera, initial impression is it is abit disappointing as it's not consistent and has some saturation issue.
I've heard that the Pixel 7 heats up under normal usage like browsing the net, watching Netflix etc. Also, the battery backup is bad. Is that true? On the contrary Nothing Phone 2 gives around 10 hours battery backup. So, what's your opinion about them?
I never knew about the Nothing phone. How unique is that!! I love it. I want one!!

I love it!!! It's becoming one of my favorite android phones
Does it offer wifi calling?
@@rawhide851 yes it does c:
Got mine yesterday it's awesome
Nice! I love it. Smooth as heck

I much prefer how this phone looks from the front, Even thiccness bezels are extremely rare on Android and it looks sooooooo good on this phone
Yup! I love the uniform bezels and the overall looks of this device. It's truly different and great

Hi Mark great review! I'm thinking about buying this phone. Does anyone know if this phone comes unlocked?
Yes! This phone is unlocked via Nothing's website! :)
@MarksTech Okay, thank you for letting me know Mark. I use Google Fi.

Agreed! I'm 100% for using an older processor because it's more optimized. This phone is SMOOTH.

@MarksTech nothing phone 2 setup with out simcared is possible

Dope video man!

How's the speaker performance bro?
Mark, does this phone have wifi calling? I am on AT&T's network.
Amazing video . but can you help about the third party icon which doesn't set in with the theme of nothing os that will be really helpful thanks
Funny enough, I switched to the Google layout and after a few hours I switched back to the nothing layout and all the apps were fixed. Try that:)
How do you override apps to be monochrome?
The physical iPhone fingerprint button was always at the bottom so I'm good with it
Good point, but iPhone back then were smaller so it made more sense. This phone on the other hand is massive lol 😆
Was looking forward to Nothing being available in Canada, but it ended up being too expensive ($899 and up)
SHEESH 🙄😱
4K60 goodness.
Waiting for your upcoming honest review on the camera, initial impression is it is abit disappointing as it's not consistent and has some saturation issue.
Coming soon!
The front camera video is actually limited to 1080p 60fps.
Why every time I see this phone I think is this what a iPhone could look like with a hole punch
How are the speakers on this phonw guys ?
Nothing phone 2 and Pixel 7. Compare them.
I've heard that the Pixel 7 heats up under normal usage like browsing the net, watching Netflix etc. Also, the battery backup is bad. Is that true? On the contrary Nothing Phone 2 gives around 10 hours battery backup. So, what's your opinion about them?
@abhijithu6766 it's true lol. Pixel 7 heats up doing nothing at all lol
@@MarksTech yup. That's why I hesitate to get the pixel 7. Also, amazing video bruv. Keep on doing it.♥️
Xiaomi 13 or nothing phone 2?
Oof that's a tough one. I think I'd pick the nothing phone 2!
@@MarksTech Can you tell me what the reason is?
Go to the effort of engraving nothing brand on the charging connection but still can't put a charger in the box
Agreed. No charger in box is stupid, but... It's just unfortunately the way SOME companies are going. Shout-out to xiaomi for including chargers
Curved displays are waste of modern technology.... I hate curved displays... Useless through and through...
Flat all the way,
i really dislike the curved panel on my Pixel 7 Pro..
Yeah the 7 pro is heavily curved. I really don't like it :(
Can’t wait to see the pixel 8 pro
E sim support ?
No esim support ?
I don't agree with Ur statement " curve screen should go away ".. I mean seriously??? How can u say that??
Cause I don't like it lol
Curved screen sucks. No need for them
First 😀
#FlatIsJustice (for phone screens.... duh!)
Agreed! Lol
