I have watched multiple phone 2 reviews given the fact that my aging OnePlus 5T is on its way out. I feel like this is one of the best, if not the best, review I have seen. Good work.
@@snj_p My OnePlus 8T just died and I temporarily switched back to my OnePlus 5 while I wait for my nothing phone 2 to arrive, the 5 held up a lot better than the 8T, I imagine the 5T was even better
@@snj_p Of course I will keep it, but the battery is down to 40...50% capacity and the bottom skip a press from time to time. But still, on of the best smartphones build for sure!

Great review. I just recently purchased Phone 2 and have been absolutely loving it to the core. I also usually limit myself to commenting on Review videos. But this excellent review forced me to comment. Great Job and Subscribed.
I just bought the nothing Phone 2, I was using the galaxy s23 base model before... Camera is more reliable on the S23, more consistent... Nothing is not usually bad, but sometimes it's not good at all... Phone is an attention grabber anywhere, even with the lights off... OS is perfect, nice to use Battery is good Overall a nicer phone, won't get Samsung back for now
has bought the phone 2 and ear 2 for 2 months. its really a fun phone. ear2 is surprisingly brilliant. i love it. phone 2 is fun, not regular design. however, the display brightness burn much power. software side need to pick up. with this good sound quality. but without a built in media player and photo gallery. its a something so much.
Best thing about this phone is that this phone has some character and people really takes interest in it can't say this about any phone in the market unless its s Flip or Fold.
Speakers can be improved. Cameras too. This is still a good phone with efficient chip, clean OS, great symetric front panel and a great back design. Owning a NP1 , i could buy a NP2 but i think it will be smarter to buy a S23, even if it’s pricer.
Their os seems to be good now, but improvement of speakers, inclusion of ip68 . Gorilla glass victus on front and back, and a telephoto lens would make this device compelling for me.

They will continue to support the phone for a while yet, but the focus will be on phone 2. There are some software elements that only phone 2 can run because of the more powerful chipset, so that and Nothing OS 2 will be the priority
I nearly went for this but i will wait til next year and hope they up the sound department as thats important to me. (Unless there some software fix thst happens but i assume its hardware issue?)
Fair enough. 2 comments in a row about the speakers, very interesting! It's not yet clear whether they can do anything in the software, but most likely a hardware issue I think
I've never undrestood the speaker problem. I personally use it so rarely that I don't even notice the quality. Most of the time my sounds are turned off or I'm using headphones. Of course I understant people have preferences but phone really isn't a device I would listen music or movies from.
I like the phone os design, but it's quite annoying that for a "design first" company their icon pack is not very extensive. Dosen't even cover amazon, or am I missing sonething?
You're missing something I'm afraid - I have it activated myself in this video. There is an icon pack that covers all apps. It's not the first one you find in settings, there's another one you need to download separately
I currently own an iPhone 13 pro, Galaxy s23 Ultra and pixel 7. I bought nothing phone and it arrived 3 days ago. Apart from the glyph back, its just another android phone. The Battery life and camera is better on the Samsung and iPhone, but pixel 7 has worst battery life
Honestly, pros and cons to both. And certainly the camera and water resistance are far better with the Pixel. Battery, display and speed all better here though. I'm certainly enjoying phone 2 a lot more myself at the moment
I must admit I was a bit disappointed with this. Hopefully they'll still address it with a software update. But you can hear that it's quieter than phone 1 in those selfie videos, although the clarity was quite good
It really depends a lot on whether you like iOS or Android. Best question to ask is: what phone do you currently have and what do you not like about it? iPhone 14 is objectively a better phone but it's more expensive and depends a lot on what you personally like!
That’s the higher contrast. Darkens the shadows to being out more detail. Slightly different colour processing too, as you can see. Goes to show the power of image processing - can really change what you see!
@@insidetechltd Oh, thank you for the answer. Both looks kinda weird to my eyes tho, like a texture from some game. Also, great review. As someone already mentioned, the best out of many.
Thanks for the review! Had it for a week, but ended up returning it. Loved the idea and UI, but a few issues pushed me to choose the Pixel: GPay rarely worked, constant vibration but errors. Fingerprint scanner glitched with Extra Dim mode. Camera's horizon level triggered excessive vibrations. Annoyed by off-center power button, taking on board how much focus on the design of the phone, symmetrical bezels, iPhone-like esthetics etc. But man, that power button... Why?! Nothing OS 2.0.2 seemed like an investment, but Pixel was a better deal for me, considering discounts on the 7 series. Still waiting for your Sony Xperia 1 V review 😊

I think you should consider how 'cool' you think Nothing's design is (both the phone and the software). That's the best selling point of Nothing phone (2) - it's refreshing to have a phone that stands out and looks cool. If you don't care about that though, the OnePlus 12R is probably better spec-wise
