Thanks for the video , i mainly was focusing on dimensions and screen state comparison since i already made my mind for S24 snapdragon variant (importing in without warranty) I am really really confused of which size to get (S24 or S24+), I am really fan of compact dimensions due to easy ergonmics and handling one handed though the bigger screen compromize watching media and better battery endurance through the day (also thinking of the QHD that will be missed on the vanilaa S24) Also the capped 25W on the Vanilla S24 is so ridicolous on the price tag with the chinese gang reaching 120W as an easy peasy (mine is motorola with 68W where it helps in quick juice to survive the day) Final thing please, Is the non saturated Blacks are obivous to that extinct cause this is a deal breaker for (I felt it was obvious between S24/S24+ and the Ultra) ? I am really biased to the Vanilla S24 (SD Variant 256 with UFS4) due to the sweetness of 6.2" and handling
I bought S23 instead of S24. Price difference was 100euro, I check them both in the shop.. I notice that S24 is brighter and the thin bezel looks great. THen I check the battery.. most of the show model (S23, S24, S24+, S24Ultra) has about 50%.. but obviously when you check on the Exynos one (S24, S24+) it shows only 5 hours left, while those with Snapdragon shows 15 hours left. So, this is inline with the reviews on youtube that Exynos battery performance is not good, mainly due to bad modem reception which uses more power. It's too bad that I will not get 7 years software update, but I prefer a phone with better battery management. In the end both S23 and S24 are very close in performance and photo/video capture, that's why I chose S23. Another thing, despite S24 color is closer to actual, it tends to be a bit hazy/wash out while S23 is a bit oversaturated
Which phone (between those in the video of course) would you recommend to a person who used a samsung phone only once in their life and want to chose between those models?
As usual, outstanding review!! What I find unfortunate beyond efficiency of the different processors is that cameras should perform at least equally good considering it's the same hardware again.
Great review. I share your opinion about the screen's colors richness. Coming from the S10e the S24 looks more than a LED screen than an OLED screen, even after the update. I'm thinking about returning the S24. Too bad, because I like the compact size of the phone, and 7 years update as well. I still have one question: does the Samsung's original anti-reflecting screen protector makes a difference with the color richness?
Thank you! So that anti-reflective screen protector does help preserve that colour richness, yes. But remember it's only the Ultra that has the reflective display glass. So you only get those really rich colours on the Ultra
Thank you for the reply. I returned the S24, because the screen wasn't as good imo as the older models. Maybe I wait for the S25 and hope it has an anti-reflecting screen. Cheers!
@@blockbustermovie2762Excuse me, i have a question; when you return phones, do they refund back your exact money or there is some kind of cut from it?
I was asked this on my Ultra review, but no I haven't experienced that at all. I don't know what's causing it but i've seen a few people talking about it 🤔
Okay, I need help. I can't decide if I should get the S23+ or S24+. Is the 1440 resolution that much of a difference? And how much more RAM do I actually need? I'm planning on running a dolphin emulator on it, but honestly I probably wont play it for long. I'm in the US, so i'll get snapdragon. Those are probably the only things that have me torn. Price is definitely a big factor and I'm not too concerned about the long term with updates.

@@movementbuilders8828 from what I have seen, the ultra has better battery, but s24 plus exynos and snapdragon have better battery than s23 plus, of course SD 3 is better but that depends on where do you live. Now Iphone 15 series also have a good battery.

How is S24 Exynos version for daily usage...facusing on battery & heating issue in Indian tropical summer where temp approx 44°-45°C. What would you suggest ?
I watched other youtuber Ex has same performance, but the battery and heating is better in Snapdragon because its TSMC with Qualcomm (Ex with samsung and Qualcomm was a real sh!t my 888 is hot like hell) I recommend a parallel importer with good service this is what i will do to buy 24+/25+ in isreal
Just bought the S24 coming from the S22 just for the 7 years of updates. The S22 also has the exynos chip, so I'm used to it. I’m a light user. I do have my battery charging set on 80%, so every evening, I charge it, no biggie.
I've personally never found the battery to be an issue on the smaller models. You're charging it overnight anyway, right? You've gotta use the phones very heavily to not make it through a full day. Smart decision with the 80% cap - that'll come in handy in a couple of years time

The S24U has slightly better speakers, but it is a heavier phone, the Plus has a big screen but its feels small and light.

Great video i have a question, i live in UK and i considering upgrading from a52s 5g s22 5g however im thinking of importing the snapdragon variant. Do u think its worth it? Thank u
I don't think importing is ever worth it. The type of person to really notice and care enough about the difference between snapdragon/exynos will be getting the newest, latest phones every year. If you're asking the question, I don't think it'll be worth it. Stick with the exynos one (which you'll get better support for too if bought locally)
hey the s23 pictures in your video look good but did you notice any s23 banana blur at ant time? i want to get the s23 but im hoping not to get the blur
on fence about getting an ultra, once upon a time you could plug a galaxy into a monitor and it would launch a desktop experience OS, is that still a feature?
I decided that Exynos S24 was not worth paying almost a quarter more so I went with S23 at 649 euros. It has a bigger battery than my previous S22 as well as a Snapdragon processor which make it a very worthy upgrade. Now I easily get through the day without charging my phone. Also, there is a better selfie camera, the animations are buttery smooth and I can also use the new AI features. I cannot see myself using the same phone for more than 3 years so the 7-year software support was not a key feature either. All in all, I am very happy with my choice 😊
@@insidetechltd Thanks! I'm still debating on which one, seems like 23 should be the obvious choice but the better resolution on the 24+ is really making me question everything 😂
I know I'm super late to this video, but my Galaxy S10+ just broke and I am in need of a new phone. The S10 series had such good flagships that I'm worried about a downgrade. I'm now debating between the S23+ and the regular S24. Would ideally go for the S23+ but it's actually more expensive than the newer S24 model. What would you suggest?
I have the same dilema. From s10+sd855 version.. S23+ or s24+? But which one? Snapdragon is a must! Avoid the shjit exynos processor! You will thank me later.
Considering price and efficency over all and software update S23 is good choice and people want bigger phone s23plus with bigger RAM and storage capacity and basic AI features will also work on S 23.So it make sense to go with snapdragon 8 gen 2 instead of.Exinos 2400..Nice video clear comparison.🙏👍👌♥️
Hi, would you consider an S24 for just 410€ (sale) keeping in mind the negative aspects about this processor? My current phone is a Samsung A71 so I think its quite a big upgrade.
Awesome video, but this is nothing new, it is the reason I'm subscribed. And yes, I would like to see the video where you compare the S24+ international and US models.
It's less important than camera and overall performance, but won't most people use a case and screen protector, which essentially eliminates the considerations of phone color and feel during operation - and possibly the screen glare and full sun performance too?
Yes it does, but there isn't much of a difference compared to last year anyway for those things. You'll still feel a difference with the Plus vs S24 or Ultra vs S24 though. The S24 series improved brightness means you get better outdoor/sun performance, even if you use a screen protector. But the Ultra does not have the anti-glare advantage if you use a screen protector that isn't samsung's anti-reflective one (I showed this in the Ultra review)
@@insidetechltd Thanks for the reply. I didn't realize they provided their own screen protector. Well, my note 9 is almost impossible to see in the sun with or without a screen protector, so I'm hoping whatever I upgrade to next will be much better than the note 9... I'm also surprised at how bad it is with photos, so hoping Samsung has improved there as well...Anyway, thanks again for the reply and the videos. I get tired just thinking about all of the work that goes into making them. 😉 - Cheers
Their own protector is expensive and only film (not glass), so it has trade offs, but it does let you keep the anti-reflective advantage. The higher brightness still lets you see a lot better in the sun though vs older phones! Haha thank you, I certainly get tired making these 😅 But the nice comments make it worth it! 👊🏼
Brilliant review, especially the camera comparison part. By now, I'm sure I'm not buying the international variant of the S24 powered by the crappy Exynos 2400 chipset. All the hate this chipset is getting is truly justified. Thanks for the review.
I come from an S21+ and upgraded to an S24+. My S21+ has a Snapdragon chipset, and despite having 3 years of use and slightly less capacity, the battery lasts exactly the same as my new S24+ with exynos. Another thing I've noticed is I pretty much can't use super fast charging on the S24+ since it gets super hot, which didn't happen on my Snapdragon S21+
Ultra design kinda to geometric for me, i kinda tempting with S24 plus but idk what they thinking to make different processor for some country 😅 My s9+ was broken yesterday, i using ipad now Plan to buy new one, could you give me advice? what would you recomend? Thanks :)
05:57 Came back to say you did me dirty on this one mate. Speakers on S24+ are clear indeed but NOTICEABLY less rich/bassy even compared to base S23. Big fan of your work here and I trust you, but I was terribly disappointed when I found that out. Also, please consider testing video saving & editing next year since its been worse on Exynos for at least the last 6 years.
@@insidetechltd I don't mean to discourage your excellent and thorough work by any means! It's just that speaker quality is an important aspect to me and I was relieved you described it as improved in the new models, when in fact it's (somehow) a downgrade. I immediately thought of you when I noticed lol. For that and a couple other reasons I'm chasing down an S23+ now. Still, all the best for you 💪🏻🍀
No not at all, I appreciate the feedback so i'm glad you told me. Obviously my whole aim is to help inform people though so i'm sad to hear that I wasn't helpful on this occasion. Pick my s24 up at weekend £28 a month on Vodafone, please tell me if you think I’ll see a big upgrade coming from my previous phone the iPhone 13 many thanks
Hard to say. I think the switch from iOS to Android is the biggest thing by far, so it's going to hinge a lot on how much you prefer Android to iOS. If you don't..it might not seem like that big an upgrade. All I can tell you for sure is that you've bought an excellent, flagship Android phone!
I am planning to switch to Galaxy model. As per you suggestion S23 is value for money. Which one to opt between S23 and S24 considering price difference of 9.3k INR which I am getting here. Is the enhanced S24 feature worth of that price difference. Please suggest.
I really like Marble Grey because it's different. The black model is not really black, and we've seen colours like that loads before. Love from the UK!
I'm getting a Samsung Galaxy S24+ with an Exynos 2400 processor for $750, and a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra for $840. I'm confused between the two. Which one would be the best for me to use for 3 to 4 years?
If i'd use a multi port charger i often use it as a safer alternative to single port chargers, often single point chargers get really hot to the point of stupid hot and i rarely had and real burning heat from multiport chargers(the openings help a crazy ammount in expelling heat)
I'm getting both S23 and S24 at the same price here. I could get a 6k INR difference if purchased from some other websites. So virtually, not much of a steal deal in buying S23. I mainly keep my phone on LTE while working, use it for calls, stream OTT on Wifi and take pictures/videos (not a daily activity). Would you still recommend a S23?
I would tell you to go for the phone design you look of more. The phones are otherwise quite similar. But if you care about re-selling afterwards then that's a good reason to get an S24 👍🏼
The camera changes with everything being less processed makes it 100x better. Of course its personal preference but coming from someone who uses professional cameras, I absolutely hate phones that sharpen images lots. The new s24 toned back the sharpening and even if you lose a tad bit of detail, the photos look much much better.
@@insidetechltd I haven’t taken enough photos with my 24 ultra to really have a good judge. Most photos I’ve taken seemed pretty good, kept everything exposed as you’d expect from a higher end phone. 4-5 h SOT could be fine, it depends what you're using it for. More battery intensive tasks might give you 5 hours, whereas lighter ones could give you 10 hours. Some warming during a video call is normal I think

Should I buy S24+ exynos or S25 regular?? The only thing better on s25 is snapdragon elite, but s24+ has bigger and better screen, larger battery, faster charging and I can get it for 200€ less
I can’t say just yet. Phone should be arriving tomorrow so I’ll be able to give you an answer after that. Full reviews on all 3 new phones coming soon!
I honestly couldn't tell you without testing the phones. I could only read the spec sheet, same as you. But that doesn't give you an impression of how those numbers actually translate to real world performance. I could tell you now there's nothing on the spec sheet that immediately tells me it's worth 200€, but I don't think that's especially helpful
4:30 IT DOES NOT. It goes down only TO 24Hz. Be aware of that! I'm not sure about S24 Ultra, probably it really goes down do 1Hz, but regular S24 ONLY TO 24Hz.
It's a tricky one - the display can technically reach 1 Hz, but lots of users reporting that they've not been able to go lower than 24 Hz. Could be Samsung restricting this in the software

I am really really confused of which size to get (S24 or S24+), I am really fan of compact dimensions due to easy ergonmics and handling one handed though the bigger screen compromize watching media and better battery endurance through the day (also thinking of the QHD that will be missed on the vanilaa S24)
Also the capped 25W on the Vanilla S24 is so ridicolous on the price tag with the chinese gang reaching 120W as an easy peasy (mine is motorola with 68W where it helps in quick juice to survive the day)
Final thing please, Is the non saturated Blacks are obivous to that extinct cause this is a deal breaker for (I felt it was obvious between S24/S24+ and the Ultra) ?
I am really biased to the Vanilla S24 (SD Variant 256 with UFS4) due to the sweetness of 6.2" and handling
Great video man, would be amazing if you can make a comparison between S24 Plus (Exynos) Vs S24 Plus (Snapdragon). Thank you
Thank you!
Ive got a s23 ultra, and im more than happy with it. I have felt no reason to upgrade. Really good video and content.
Thank you!
first class reveiw ..sorted my confusion on phone choice going for the s23+ me thinks thank you for making up my mind.👌
Thank you so much - glad I could help 🙌🏼
Which phone (between those in the video of course) would you recommend to a person who used a samsung phone only once in their life and want to chose between those models?
As usual, outstanding review!! What I find unfortunate beyond efficiency of the different processors is that cameras should perform at least equally good considering it's the same hardware again.
Thank you 🙏🏼
Nice review as always
Thank you!
Hey, where did you get those wallpappers?
@InsideTech did you get problems with s24 ultra grainy screen/mura effect?
I was asked this on my Ultra review, but no I haven't experienced that at all. I don't know what's causing it but i've seen a few people talking about it 🤔
@@insidetechltd thanks
Okay, I need help. I can't decide if I should get the S23+ or S24+. Is the 1440 resolution that much of a difference? And how much more RAM do I actually need? I'm planning on running a dolphin emulator on it, but honestly I probably wont play it for long. I'm in the US, so i'll get snapdragon. Those are probably the only things that have me torn. Price is definitely a big factor and I'm not too concerned about the long term with updates.
Honestly...I don't think you'll need it. Especially if the price is important to you. S23+ is still a fantastic phone
@@insidetechltd thank you!
If you live in US and you can afford it get the s24+ snapdragon version!
you should check battery life on wifi 6 vs 5G on s23 and s24 series, exynoses had always problems with lte/5g
Yes, I saw other reviewers and exynos suffers 5g and gaming more than SD 3
How's the Battery Life of S24plus?
I own an S23plus now, my Battery is very poor.
Is it advisable to upgrade to S24plus or S24ultra, which one has a better Battery?
@@movementbuilders8828 from what I have seen, the ultra has better battery, but s24 plus exynos and snapdragon have better battery than s23 plus, of course SD 3 is better but that depends on where do you live. Now Iphone 15 series also have a good battery.

How is S24 Exynos version for daily usage...facusing on battery & heating issue in Indian tropical summer where temp approx 44°-45°C.
What would you suggest ?
I live in the UK, so i'm not really experienced with those sort of temperatures, sorry!
Smart decision with the 80% cap - that'll come in handy in a couple of years time
Amazing and in dept (and honest) review, based on this video alone, just ordered the little s23. keep up the detailed reviews
Thanks a lot!

@@uvanshgoraya3068 overall its good. ive also got a S24U and comparing them, 60% of high end graphic intensive games are exactly the same, other games are better optimised for snapdragon, a few actually run better on the exynos, due to the AMD GPU. if you not playing graphic intensive games then really no difference, the 24Plus Exynos is silky smooth, there is never any lag or overheating, battery is very good. The S24U has slightly better speakers, but it is a heavier phone, the Plus has a big screen but its feels small and light.
Best comparison video for these phones. Exactly what i needed! Subscribed

Hello, I really can't make my mind between S24 or S23+. The 7 year support on s24 makes want to buy it but s23+ is more cheaper so really can't make my mind. Can you give me suggestions if you don't mind? I own Samsung A52s.
Will it be a good upgrade if I upgrade from the s20 fe to the s24(exynos)?
My biggest worry is battery life since my s20 fe doesn't last a full day?
Yea, i think s24+ will be better than the s24 base
hey the s23 pictures in your video look good but did you notice any s23 banana blur at ant time? i want to get the s23 but im hoping not to get the blur
I didn't notice any blur issues, no
This was great, it help a lot in deciding which one I'm gonna get
Glad to hear it!
on fence about getting an ultra, once upon a time you could plug a galaxy into a monitor and it would launch a desktop experience OS, is that still a feature?
I've got the snapdragon s24 plus. Great phone and battery. Plus, 7 years of updates! That was the main selling point for me.
Perfect video imo.
Thanks for the video! Do you know if the s23 already got the AI?
Yes, it does have Galaxy AI now
@@insidetechltd Thanks! I'm still debating on which one, seems like 23 should be the obvious choice but the better resolution on the 24+ is really making me question everything 😂
Can you make 5g battery test s24plus exynos 2400 and s23plus
Wow, finally found a video that clears all the confusions and checks all the boxes for the new buyers. Cheers buddy, great work 👍
Thanks a lot, glad I could help!
Yes I would. I still bought an S24 for myself, despite the negative aspects 👍🏼
Question towards Samsung.
Is it possible to supply a non reflective screen protector rather than a full screen? To enable for All Samsung devices.
What color is the s24 ulta you are using? Is that the titanium gray or titanium yellow?
Titanium grey

Does this ugreen charger support super fast charging 2.0? i get that on my s23 ultra
It certainly does
Excellent review!
Thanks a lot!
@@insidetechltd Thanks again for the info. Cheers m8. 🤙
Brilliant review, especially the camera comparison part. By now, I'm sure I'm not buying the international variant of the S24 powered by the crappy Exynos 2400 chipset. All the hate this chipset is getting is truly justified. Thanks for the review.
Thank you!
I got the s24+ because I felt that the s23 was too small. Now the 24+ is too big 😫 they need to release a 6.4/6.5 inch this year.
Superb analysis, thank you.
Thanks a lot!
Avoid the shjit exynos mate!
Ultra design kinda to geometric for me, i kinda tempting with S24 plus but idk what they thinking to make different processor for some country 😅
My s9+ was broken yesterday, i using ipad now
Plan to buy new one, could you give me advice? what would you recomend?
Ah no! I'm sorry to hear that - never like knowing my videos have mislead people. I'll try and be more thorough next time!
I think the speaker clarity and volume is better but I understand your point about being less bassy and therefore rich. If you end up getting an S23+, please write back to let us know what you think of it! And thanks for the support and kind words, it really means a lot 👊🏼
This channel is very good.
Thanks!
I don't think so. If you're not sure, then that shows there's nothing in the S24 series that is a must buy, right? I'd suggest the S23 series
Which color do you prefer for s24 ? Is it onyx black or marble gray? Please reply me soon. Love from Bangladesh
I really like Marble Grey because it's different. The black model is not really black, and we've seen colours like that loads before. Love from the UK!
Black. I add color with an OtterBox. 😊
A very good review. I'm in a dilemma S23+ or Asus zenfone 11?
I'm getting a Samsung Galaxy S24+ with an Exynos 2400 processor for $750, and a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra for $840. I'm confused between the two. Which one would be the best for me to use for 3 to 4 years?
S23 ultra
If i'd use a multi port charger i often use it as a safer alternative to single port chargers, often single point chargers get really hot to the point of stupid hot and i rarely had and real burning heat from multiport chargers(the openings help a crazy ammount in expelling heat)
Nice 👍🏼
After watch this video i commit to upgrade from my s8 plus to regular s23 rather than s24. Thank u.
Why is the mobile signal on every shot taken weaker on the S24 lineup compared to S23? In some cases significantly weaker. Do they have some problem?
Is a s24 plus worth the switch from a z flip 5?
No
I'm getting both S23 and S24 at the same price here.
@@insidetechltd Thanks for the prompt response
The camera changes with everything being less processed makes it 100x better. Of course its personal preference but coming from someone who uses professional cameras, I absolutely hate phones that sharpen images lots. The new s24 toned back the sharpening and even if you lose a tad bit of detail, the photos look much much better.
I agree it's objectively better because of the sharpening difference. How about the dynamic range though? Hard to say that part is better this year
@@insidetechltd I haven’t taken enough photos with my 24 ultra to really have a good judge. Most photos I’ve taken seemed pretty good, kept everything exposed as you’d expect from a higher end phone. But that’s also the snapdragon chipset, I’m Canadian so I get snapdragon across the board. I’m not sure how it holds up compared to the 23 ultra but I have no big complaints. From what I’ve watched the exynoss definitely performs different than the snapdragon variant though. Definitely worse for its camera processing
Yeah I was going to say that the Ultra is Snapdragon worldwide, and it doesn't have any of the camera issues the Exynos models have - so you should be good 👍🏼
@@insidetechltd I’m not sure why they keep bringing exynos back, It doesn’t affect me because I’m NA so I get snapdragon even on base models which is great. But even though I don’t gotta worry it’s still a terrible business move

I am using s24 for more than 10 days, i m getting Sceen on time between 4 and 5 hours, Moderate use. Is it concerning? Also, phone gets heat quickly while on video call. Pls do reply s24 users?
4-5 h SOT could be fine, it depends what you're using it for. More battery intensive tasks might give you 5 hours, whereas lighter ones could give you 10 hours. Some warming during a video call is normal I think
maybe its still learning your usage pattern, suppose to be two weeks. did your battery life improve?
I own an s21 ultra and willing to upgrade either to S23 ultra or S24 Ultra. Which phone do you think i should invest in? Price is not a major problem but I still would like to have value for my money.

Should I buy S24+ exynos or S25 regular?? The only thing better on s25 is snapdragon elite, but s24+ has bigger and better screen, larger battery, faster charging and I can get it for 200€ less

@insidetechltd Thanks 👍 But what do you think now, I should get a phone really really soon cause my current phone is really dying
