- Negotiations with Florida State and Clemson battling the ACC in the court of law has new information. There could be a settlement “if” certain specific terms like the Grant of Rights are reduced.
There’s also more opportunity for FSU and Clemson to earn money from the television contracts. All of that being discussed, should the Noles trust the ACC?

Go Clemson. Bless your hearts Noles. Clemson knows your DJU pains.
Having a diploma factory in FSU benefits the team. Many graduates that will watch the games.
The fact it could drag out for years is exactly why they would want to come to some sort of agreement. You answered your own question 🤷♂️
One bad season does not define a program… but the current state of FSU says we should take why we can get.
The ACC didn't make the proposal. It was proposed by FSU/Clemson. All the schools are currently reviewing it to counter or reject.
I'm not jumping to any conclusion. Is this just a step in the offer-counter-counter counter - etc. or is it something very close to an agreement? And, we don't know any of the specifics (how much more money, how will this affect the cost of buyout - specific dollars, etc.). I'm extremely interested, but not ready to jump to any conclusion.
Just a small,,,GT is public not private
Of course they should. The point for fsu is to get more money. The lawsuit will have accomplished its goal if it gets the acc to accept the proposal fsu and Clemson made 4 years ago. Not taking the settlement will cost fsu a lot of money even if they win the lawsuit
Being in the acc with sec or big ten level money is the best of all worlds.
The ACC has made no proposal.
This part. Why are FSU fans claiming that the ACC made the proposal? It was made by FSU and Clemson. And what's being proposed is definitely going to get red penned if not outright rejected.
60 million thru 2026, then out in 2027. 10 million more every year, if FSU agrees to stay, after that with an escape clause after each year.
Should FSU trust the ACC 😂😂 YALL SUED THEM CRAZY NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND LOL L1C4
FSU still haven't learned their lesson 🥴🤦🏿♂️.
Florida State and Clemson have been carrying the weight in the ACC. It’s not fair for BC Wake etc to get an equal share.
As a Virginia Tech fan, I know how you feel. From 03 until around 2015, we won for ACC titles and was runner-up three times. 10 wins seasons every year. And we had to watch teams like Duke Syracuse, Wake Forest, BC all get a share while they don’t invest in trying to run a winning football program.
That’s why I think it’s a step in the right direction to talk about this. In both parties best interest at the moment.

Va Tech and Louisville have been good for conference. Good football schools with great fan bases. Miami has been a bust so far. ACC should have taken WVA and Memphis rather than BC and Syracuse.
@@boweevil8390 the great shame is that if more people thought the way you and I did, the ACC might be in better shape. You know your football obviously so you know that BC, Syracuse and Pittsburgh or largely brought in by the basketball schools along with Notre Dame. Notre Dame‘s been a plus but the other three were disasters. Terrible performance, terrible fans, and zero commitment to getting the program moving upwards. I totally agree with you about Miami really letting the conference down andhow things would be different if we had taken football schools like West Virginia, Memphis and one other our conference could’ve been something. Oh well. Appreciate the kind thoughts about my Hokies. I feel the same way about you all. Peace.
FSU/CLEMSON are in a contract and no other conference wants them.
You don’t have the vaguest idea of what any conference at any level wants.
No all the other teams in the ACC ain’t worth a damn if we being honest we want out
FSU on path to be Vanderbilt of ACC
IF FLORIDA STATE AND CLEMSON ARE SO HIGH WHY DOES THE ACC NETWORK MAKES SO MUCH MONEY WHEN FSU AND CLEMSON ARE REALLY NOT ON THE ACC NETWORK FOR FOOTBALL BUT ONCE A YEAR
The ADs don’t sign off on anything. The school presidents make these decisions.
Hey, hey, ho, ho, coach Adkins has gotta go! If Norvell remains loyal to his coaching style then he deserves to be fired!
Win a game dude.
I just want Miami out of the ACC. State University Presidents hatred of Private Members. Atrocious Officiating, ACC protectiveness of their conference Blue Bloods. Miami joined the ACC to grow their Basketball program, that did not work out for same reasons above, and Very MUCH to the detriment of the Football Program. Miami could win back to back to back National Championships in the ACC, and FSU would file Law Suits for breach of the ACC's jealousy clause.
@@ArmandoParra-gz9ps nothing you say is incorrect. They have been a terrible football member since they joined. I don’t think they’ve won a single ACC football championship with all that talent and history. Nice points.
How many ACC championships has Miami won since they joined the ACC? Oh, that’s right… 0
@@rlhaff3560 True but with the exception of Clemson. NONE of the other teams Did Either. That means we still have More NATTY's than any of them. Jealous!!!!
Please leave The ACC FSU is a embarrassment to football
If they base it on eye balls on the TV Miami will get a big share
Lol not really
Average viewership higher than Clemson this year??
@@BenCabell😂😂😂no it’s not and it’s not even close
