    I'm obsessed with puffy vests and I'm painfully aware how expensive they are in stores. This is the first time I've ever seen someone make one and I'm FLOORED by how simple! I always assumed they were complicated because they were expensive but yours looks EXACTLY like what I want and I'm so excited to try it.... even though it's currently 100 degrees 🙃

    This is a life saver ! I have been looking for a puffer jacket for hunting amd can only find 1 that is camo and blaze orange or camo and black. Which would be fine but I already have an orange vest(one ks actually reversible to camo) but id really like to have 1 in the camo pattern I duck hunt with amd another for western hunting

    Hi thanks 😀, I luv it! How can I make a reversible hoodie to match..a detachable hoodie? Any tips please? On what Not to do.... I screwed up so many projects. 😏

    • @SewAddicts
      @SewAddicts  5 лет назад +1

      Hi Maria, thanks for watching! A detachable hoodie sounds like a fun project. just make sure the fabric for the hoodie is just like the main jacket and make sure to use closures that work well with the fabric. You can use a zipper or snaps to detach. Hope this helps. xx

      I am assuming you sew the un zippered zipper sides onto the front panels first thing

    Very helpful, but my fabrics sowed with the interfacing looks different and a bit more wrinkly. How will I be able to fix that? Will ironing it down work?

    • @SewAddicts
      @SewAddicts  4 года назад +1

      You seams might be a little too tight. The ironing should help a little. But adjust the size of your thread and hold the tension on your fabric. :)

    Hi Dami, please if I want to add sleeves to the shirt, how do I go about reversing the sleeves?

    • @SewAddicts
      @SewAddicts  6 лет назад +1

      Hi Zinnie to adding sleeves is a little more complex to describe in detail. I do have a video showing how to add sleeve and reversing. Here is the section of my DIY faux fur vest that can help with adding a sleeve to your vest ruclips.net/video/z-BBpDpGnVQ/видео.html Let me know if you have any questions xx

    How do i make the jacket more puffier ? Would that require making the lines closer

    • @SewAddicts
      @SewAddicts  7 лет назад +1

      Hi.. To make the jacket puffier you will have to put in more fleece interfacing layers or fleece stuffings between your fabric.

    • @bygabbderwen
      @bygabbderwen 7 лет назад +2

      SewAddicts so instead of 1 layer of interfacing to match the fabric .. maybe use 2 or 3 ?

    • @SewAddicts
      @SewAddicts  7 лет назад +1

      Yes! you could put as many layers as you want, but three is a good start. The more layers you put the puffer your jacket is going to get.

    You could have made a hole in one of your side seams and turn it that way rather than stitching the bottom. It's much neater and not easy to see so much.
