Love you Alisa! You are an amazing teacher. I love watching you. We have spent a lot of time together! You are definitely called to your craft. Thank you for all you do!
You're the best, Rochelle, thank you for your kind note!
Love the use of decorative elastic at the neckline and bottom of the jacket. Thanks for a great tutorial!
Agreed! The elastic adds such a nice touch to the garment.
As always, fantastic tutorial.
I promised a hubby a similar style jacket, and i have been delaying because I didn't want to do zipper with fleece
I think he may get one soon :D
You can totally do it, I believe in your abilities 100% and I am sure he will get his jacket pretty soon :) post a picture when he does!
I literally just replaced a zipper in a fleece jacket for the first time yesterday. Fumbled through it and was grateful I could just reverse the steps I took to remove the old one 😅
😎
My husband asked me to replace a zipper on his jacket, but I thought I couldn't. Now I know how! Thank you so much 😊
Happy to help! I fully believe in you - you can do it :)
Thank you Alisa, you took away my zipper phobia 😃
I love your teaching style thank you!
Cute jackets. They look warm and comfortable.
I have been sewing for 4 years now and I struggle with zippers but getting better each time I sew one.
What a nice video and explanation…..I’ve done a few but only in garment bags…😂
Great job!!! I love your tutorials!!! Keep them coming hahaha.
Beautiful jackets and great tutorial! I'd forgotten about the flatlock hem capability of my serger and will have to try that soon. One thing that helps me line up zippers is to make a mark on each side of the zipper to match with a seam (or plaid) so that when the zipper is closed (after basting), everything matches up the first time.
Love this jacket. Such beautiful fabric. Bravo 👏 ❤
Liked. Shared. Commented. Up the algorithm! There are so many of your videos on our family discord craft table! 🤣
lovely jackets and as always great instructions!
Super cool thankyou for a clear demo❤❤
Very good
I would love to see you are making a completed video for this jacket with same fleece fabric. Thanks
Hello there, all videos/tutorials that you will need for this jacket are actually alreday on the channel and linked in the description of this video :)
Great tips for reusing and fitting sleeves. As for pocket, I've taken pockets off before, and if you scratch over line of stitching, then give it a shot of steam if can make them look alot less visible and in some cases take them away all together.
Keep up your vids there great and very educational.
Thank you.
(for the purple shirt)
Hi Alisa, I always love and appreciate everything you do.
I always love the way you explain things in a simple and easy way.
If you don’t mind, could you please teach us how to draft and sew a zipper with a lining for a simple sweater.
I appreciate as always.
Hello there and thank you so much
I actually alreday videos, both - for how to draft a sweater and how to do a zipper with lining - ruclips.net/video/aZN3bzUQIDg/видео.html
Thank you so much, I really appreciate it ❤
You are amazing 🌺❤️
Thank you very much it's amazing
Great idea using the lingerie elastic on the inside of the neckline. Thank you.
Another fantastic tutorial! :)
That s lovely and so neat...
That was a so clearly produced video; easily understood, going step by step, well explained. Now I am not afraid to try such a garment; thank you, so very much!
This was helpful...thankyou
And here I sit on my couch, trying to muster the courage to make pajama pants. 😜
Buna!
Your videos are always very helpful and well explained !! Thank you !
Q bonita chaqueta !!!
Thank you Lisa for once again sharing you talent, can not wait untill I am able to be come a member of your channel which will be 🎉September 2024🎉 Susan 🌼🌸
Hello there, Susan! I am happy you are finding these helpful and I hope you are having fun with sewing :)
I don’t think I’ve ever not resorted to hand sewing at the end!! 😂
With the cuffs on this one did you use the 80% less than the wrist circumference? Sometimes I have trouble when I draft my own patterns when not using ribbing. 😊
Hello there Sharon, here's a very detailed video about cuffs :) - ruclips.net/video/9xuPOrR29gE/видео.html
I had a hoodie, that I didn't use often, so 1 day I decided to put a separating zipper in it and I gave it to my daughter for school because she used to feel cold with the AC 😊, but I also have 1 of my husband's hoodie but idk why I am feeling nervous to do it with that one for me 🙈😂😂😂
Thanks for tutorial! Where did you get the fabric?
Great instructions. I love your thread! Where did you find it?
At Joann's! But Wawak also has some (that's where I get my sewing notions, when I have enough to place an order - www.wawak.com/thread/thread-by-use/serging/maxi-lock-swirls-serger-spun-polyester-thread-tex-27-3000-yds/#sku=spt1151 )
@@ThoughtfulCreativity Did you use a 3 or 4 thread overlock.
@@leannerickard9646 for a flat lock stitch I used 3 thread setting. You will have an Early Access soon for this technique video (sometime this week), but I also go over it in my serger technique video from last year :)
@@ThoughtfulCreativity I just rewatched that video! Thanks for all you teach us!
Hey, will installing the zipper "closed" maybe help to get it right?
Hello there, try it, if it works for you, but I always find it way easier doing it one side at the time, both while pinning/basting and while under the presser foot of a sewing machine :)
Hi Lisa I really want to be a member but I’m in SA for one month then I stay in Zimbabwe how do I pay
WHERE CAN I GET THIS PATTERN?.
It is my knit bodice block tutorial, sweater adjustment - all tutorials are available on my channel :) ruclips.net/video/E7RtajU3ASk/видео.html
Sew awesome Alisa, I’m always afraid afraid of installing zippers in🤣❤️🧵
I totally hear you, they can be a little scary, but slow and steady and you will be able to get it done! :)
