Coming from and old school racer of American V8's, my hats off to you guys, that is an utterly amazing feat you have pulled off ! Never in a thousand years would I have believed this if told 10-15years ago, he11, I can't believe it now, running a time like that with full interior, door slammer !
@@definitionmedia1130j still isn’t touching the rb. Maybe the track only classes? Rb are the kings of street equipped cars. The last 2 years cemented this in australia with the amount of 2k+ capable horsepower street rb engines.
I've been hearing a lot of "purists whining and complaining about the legitimacy of a chassied race car. The problem is, their Status Quo is dangerous, a stock chassied awd car is not safe on a dragstrip period. Watch all the runs showing these cars torque steering all over the place, how can you say that is the way it's supposed to be? That is dangerous. With a proper built car, the run will not only be more consistent but also straighter and far more safe than the slip sliding a stock chassied cars do. And in all these arguments, there is no complaining about the aftermarket parts in the engine, (cams, pistons, Rods, crank) where is the issues with stock in there? How about the block itself, most of these guys run billet blocks with no water cooling, Is that stock or "Pure". Another thing, most of these guys run an after market computer and fuel injectors, let's put the whole car under the microscope yes? Far as I'm concerned A race car is a compromise, to represent a certain make and model while going as fast and consistent as possible. There is an Aussie GTR that looks to have a Pro Mod body, I agree that is not really a GTR as it changes too much for the sake of time and speed. but cars like this one here are plenty enough GTR enough to run as one yet be much safer, more consistent as well as faster and quicker
Being a maatouks car, it’ll be street registered. And I’m willing to bet that the chassis has chassis connectors through etc. the block would be billet with water jackets. They’ve done all this before
The world's fastest Supra pulls a 5.97 second 1/4 @ 240mph. Yup, that's faster than this Skyline. The problem with your logic is that this car is road registered, and the EKanoo Racing is a purpose built drag car with a full race chassis, there's no comparison. Supra fanboys just don't recognise class when they see it.
What the Maatouks Racing is accomplishing is amazing, all the late nights and hard work always paying off to being the best in the world!

Stock 33 interior, wrapped in alcantara. Dash is a Haltech IC7, and a MoTec keypad where the stereo once lived.
Is it manual or dct or sequential?
Its an automatic. I think it’s either a 2 speed powerglide or a TH400. 👍
That was a long 1/4mile run too
They cut out the atesa?
It's a gtst, rear wheel drive
