I’d hazard a guess that CRD aren’t trying to hide GTR700 given how well they appear to manage the current fleet of clients in their care. They mentioned in a previous video that the owner was forced overseas in a hurry for work, so maybe work situation still keeping him overseas or funding dried up for the car. Awful shame really. Would be great to see the return of another legendary car.
@@Zonda1996 I know Mario, he's always called away, and has been jetsetting for work for well over 20years. It has been hidden well as the car was last seen on film, on this very channel, OVER 5 YEARS ago.
Would be cool to see if Rob and the boys from CRD could incorporate a laser ride height sensor to help with the wheelies and make the car overall more consistent. Would make the car alot safer, possibly get the 60 foot's down a little and make the car quicker.
If they don't have one today, you might find there is a reason for it. For example, with the turbo being that big they can't backdown coming out of the hole or it'll come off boost and be too slow to get back onto boost that the overall run is a loss at that point. That being said, they could certainly add one just for safety - maybe it'd save a massive wheelie and potential damage down the road.
@@AlistairLattimore the laser sensor can pull only a tiny bit of fuel or ignition not resulting in a huge loss, majority of the x275 cars in the states are using them and have made them more consistent and quicker
