Hello, I learned through many different resources. I bought a couple of programs like guitar sage and Paul Davids I found through youtube so that I could learn the fundamentals of technique and music theory for guitar. I also read a couple of theory books which help me now to know where I'm fretting. After learning the basics, I just practice for feel and sound. Now I just choose challenging songs that I love by my favorite guitarists to just keep progressing. Now I'm mostly working on technique but only spend my time on a particular song at a time. I try to change things up to fit my style more.
