Love your presentation of these beautiful pieces and advice on how to style them. You have such a pleasant aura that keeps me attentive to your skill of dressing women.
I appreciate your job is as a personal stylist but you’re sooo good! Everything you recommend and suggest makes complete sense. I’ve checked out some of the items you’ve recommended in this video and I have to say, you look 100% better in the clothes than the models on the websites. If I hadn’t seen you wearing the Reiss jumpsuit I wouldn’t have given it a second glance. 😘
Hi Melissa! You are the best!! So glad I found you, I love all these styles and I am OVER the moon that you aren't showing a bunch of unaffordable stuff! AND you help me find stuff in USA, you are so thorough and kind. Anyways, so how do I get nails like that at my salon, what do I ask for?
Absolutely love your videos. I’m also a pear shape but 5ft 9 and Aussie size 14-16. Have just lost 10kg and doing a massive wardrobe reshuffle. Being 46 my tastes have changed and I’m loving having the confidence in what wearing things you love and feel great in can give. Keep up the videos, they are so helpful particularly as you are a pear and you’re relatable. Would love some brands we can get here in Australia... good luck xx
Hi Justine. Well done on your weight loss, that’s fantastic. Let me know what high street brands you can get and I’ll make sure I include some for you x
Just found your channel where have you been all my life 😂 looking forward to all the inspiration already purchased the waist trainer and shoulder pads 😆
Thank you for a great video Melissa! I’m also loving the Reiss jumpsuit, it looks so chic and versatile. I need some everyday jewellery too so thank you for the Monica Vinader code! 👍😊💕
Hi Melissa, thank you for the video, It's great to have a slightly older women doing styling videos and the fact that you are shorter really helps. I feel that RUclips is flooded with 20 somethings, tall, beautiful and slim women doing hauls! Unfortunately this is not the average women :( I love the styling options you cover with each piece. x
Thank you for another terrific video. All the tips and resources are incredibly helpful, and easy to adopt... and it was lovely to see your very polished and stylish mother in your last video. Btw, in my experience Massimo Dutti has very fast shipping in the US and also offers free returns from here. I've found some very nice basics for work there lately.
Thank you for this video Melissa. (Loved the one for we big tummy girls too). I used your link for the jeans and the material was 99.5% cotton and 0.5% spandex. I've never seen that ratio before! Sounds good as there is just a tiny bit of stretch, so hopefully they would hold their shape well. Thank you. Fiona x
I just recently found Lattelier myself!! Nice big code for us to save..thank you for that 👏🏻 so far I have purchased two pair of trousers (in love) and I just ordered a medium blue trench. It hasn’t came in yet but I’m excited for it to come in. Wish I had that 30% off instead of the 15% they offer nilly willy
That's a shame. Have you worn the items? It's usually free returns so you could always buy them again using the 30% off and return the 15% off ones! That's what I would do if you haven't worn them. x
I love your RUclips’s and thank you for all your free information, however you do mention America we are from Scotland and living in aus just now and wonder if you we can get these clothes here at aged 56 it’s perfect for me
love ur videos...the content u create is totally relatable and amazing...if you can please make a video on how to take care of clothes..if u have any suggestions about washing and handling the different fabrics so that we are able to get more wears of the same thing...thank you again for all your hard work..its commendable
You too Maggie!! I still can't get over your age - you look and dress amazing. My client loved the white Reiss dress so thank you for your help with that. xx
Thank you Melissa, another wonderful video. I love the final Reiss all in one, but I am not keen on the ties hanging down. What is the waist like on this piece? Could the ties be snipped off or tucked away somehow? Thank you! Loved the video with your mum.
I love your videos and thanks for giving us the information about how to use your links. I really liked the Cream collarless jacket from H&M but when I clicked on the link it took me to another website and I can’t find it on the H&M website - any help is appreciated xx
I would love to but I can't get a volunteer! if you're in the Uk and can get to my studio in Wiltshire then i'd be more than happy to dress you - just email me!
Can you do a video on how to dress business casual in the summer? I always see nice pants and blazer trends that I would love to wear to work, but I rarely see good alternatives for hot days outside of dresses and skirts.
I absolutely love your outfits but what would be lovely is to see some more budget alternatives. I just can’t afford the likes of Reiss clothing. After watching your videos I was inspired to go shopping but bought nothing. Reiss is so unbelievably expensive for a regular mum like me 😔 Thanks for another lovely video 🙏
I understand and totally get it. My next video is 'Spring basics on a budget' so really hope to be able to find you some equally lovely pieces for less eye watering prices. xx
Another fantastic video Melissa. I think I need to order the Reiss jumpsuit, what a versatile piece. I really like the cream collarless jacket with ruched sleeves, but I can’t find it on the website……..the oversize ones just don’t do me any favours so this looks perfect…..xx
They've just changed the style but I brought this new style yesterday and i can highly recommend it. I'm going to be showing it in my next video so here's the link before it sells out! Ps - There's only a few sizes left online but they literally had them everywhere in store so check your local store (you can also do this online) as there seems to stock in every size in store. Here's the link for you...rstyle.me/+_k_ksBxvVKYZ2u6cHhQwRQ
Melissa you're such a gem. An idea to work around the character limit could be a blog. If you need help creating it, I am a professional marketer and I can help you create something super easy. Just an idea. Love your content and we appreciate you and all that you do. Whatever we can do to make it easier, we're here for you, girl!! Cheers from Cambridge UK
Thank you for that idea but in all honesty i'm trying to do less rather than more as life has got a little too crazy so i'm trying to streamline rather than take on another platform that needs attention. Thank you though, i do appreciate the thought. x
@@mmpersonalstyling No worries! I totally get it!!!! I think you will find a way to get all your links in and still keep it easy on yourself. We appreciate you and all the quality content you're giving us. Thank you for all that you do!!!!!! You're a star!!!

I tried to get the Zara Pink Cotton Top but they were sold our. Do you get notified when they are restocked. TY Look forward to your styling videos. I'm 68, 5'4", 9st still nstylish and would wear most of the clothes shown.
I absolutely love the reiss jumpsuit. Do you know of any similar at a more reasonable price. Lots around but I can’t find one with the tie 🤷🏼♀️ love your channel btw. It really has helped me and i look forward to to your posts ☺️
No, sorry I don't. There's a lot in jersey fabrics but not in such a versatile fabric as this one. I will keep an eye out for you though and i'll let you know if i find anything. The next video i'm looking at more affordable spring basics so i'll try and find something ready for that video x
As long as you build up the shoulder pads to balance out the lower part then absolutely. Have a look at the video where I styled my mum who is a larger pear shape and she looked fantastic in a jumpsuit x
Trying to find the last white blazer you mentioned is form H&M. I’m not seeing it in your links or on their website! It’s exactly what I’ve been searching for! Help!
Hi Melissa, I’m in New Zealand and when I buy jeans a size 10 fits me as I’m big on top (45”) but small on the bottom (a rectangle from the waist down) - I went to buy the jeans you were wearing and measured myself - 38” waist, 38” hip, but the sizing puts me off their chart and probably any other chart LOL. What would you advise? PS - its embarrassing to list these measurements.
Sorry, I some how missed this comment so sorry it's taken me a couple of days to come back to you. I'd just go with your waist measurement as your hips aren't much bigger and they're quite forgiving in the leg area anyway. Ps - If it helps, I still get baffled by the sizing all the time. I've got thicker legs and a smaller waist so for me it's about looking at the style description.
I'm sorry Barbara, i really wish I could put links up for every single country but I just can't fit them in. If there's ever anything you really like but can't access it in Australia then let me know and i can try and find it for you. Sorry and thank you for watching! Ps - I'd never forget Australia, I use to live their for 4 years and love the place!!
It should do. Have you used a capital M? I tested it and it worked for me but you're not the only person to say this so I have sent them an email to check and i'm waiting on their reply...I'll update everyone as soon as I hear back from them...
Absolutely loved these! Is it old fashioned of me to be concerned about bra show through? (bra lines showing under the white cami and under the arms of the navy short jumpsuit) I have some beautiful bras, but don't know about letting them be seen.
In a perfect world they wouldn’t show and I tend to change my bra colour so they don’t but when filming I have to go neutral as I can’t change it for every outfit as I’d be there all day but I would colour code it ordinarily x
Thank you again Melissa …I also love combination ….really love trench coat but have entered code 30Melissa but is saying does not exist. I am a dinosaur with technology… is anyone else having same issues? Xx
Hi there. I’ve just tried the code and it did work for me, give it another go! It maybe case sensitive? I used a capital M. Fingers crossed it works for you x
I’m so happy I have found you! I binge watched most of your videos last night 😁. I was wondering if you would consider doing a video on occasion wear dresses. I’m 161 cm, barrel tummy, big boobs, size 10 trousers and size 14-16 top 😔. I would love to see what you would recommend as a wedding guest outfit 😊 Best wishes 💐
Definitely I would. The trouble I have is finding the models. I don't suppose you'd like to volunteer would you If you would then please email me and we can discuss....
I'm surprised as a stylist ( I also am a stylist) that you style track pants with blazers. This is an interesting choice. I've only seen a handful of your videos but I've seen this pairing a few times on your channel. I'll be honest, I'm undecided on it, but it is a unique choice. On another note, attaching a bobby pin through a bracelet allows you to hold onto the end of a bracelet so that you can clip it yourself and then just slip the bobby pin out
What you’re calling track pants. Serena Bute’s trousers with the wide stripe have been called the same, and the pants from Reiss, River Island, etc. are meant to mimic the look with a more affordable fabric. They’re styled with all sorts of things that would seem odd to those of us in the US, but I find the mix of dressy and casual to be modern and fresh.
@@michelleelwell5537 okay, I gotcha. It's the drawstring at the waist also. I respect everyone's right to individual style, it's just something I've not seen before, which surprises me. At the end of the day I know Melissa knows her stuff, it's just a new idea for me, not one I'm used to seeing and would not wear myself, but no shade to those that do🙂
The ripped jeans RUIN the look. Hoping distressed jeans look goes the way of the dinosaur sooner than later....maybe ok for a 12 yr old...but not on a grown woman!

Great video. Video idea: How should pants/trousers fit, in terms of length? For example, break, inches from floor, etc.
Good question and the generic answer is that long trousers should be as along as you can wear them without them dragging on the floor or being a trip hazard. Ankle grazers and flattering on most people as it shows what is often the slimmest part on many people. However, if you loose length by wearing an ankle grazer you need to balance it out by tucking in your top (just a little) so you gain some extra length. i hope that helps x

On another note, attaching a bobby pin through a bracelet allows you to hold onto the end of a bracelet so that you can clip it yourself and then just slip the bobby pin out
Great tip, thank you!
It is meant to look like Serena Bute collections I believe. I’m a fan.
@@michelleelwell5537 what is?

@@mmpersonalstyling that is very nice of you
The ripped jeans RUIN the look. Hoping distressed jeans look goes the way of the dinosaur sooner than later....maybe ok for a 12 yr old...but not on a grown woman!
That's why it's called 'personal styling' - just change the ripped jeans for non ripped version - simple!
