I feel that second thought videos are really helpful. I’ve had my eye on this ASW 28 and I remember watching your last video on it. But it’s always a delight to see another video pop up about the same plane - especially because you’ve already worked out all the kinks and have an even better sense of flying it the second time around. So we get to see more cool stunts and maneuvers
I went back and watched some videos from your beginners. Buddy I’m so proud of what you’ve accomplished. Just told the wife we are heading to South Carolina.
Regarding crow. Set the throttle to the left or right slider thus freeing up the throttle stick. Assign the crow function to the real throttle stick such that at full throttle crow is neutral use the throttle to apply crow by pulling the stick down this way you can control variable amounts of crow as you approach landing just like in a real in a real glider. This gives infinite an variable control over the crow function on approach by applying more or less down stick on throttle and allows for zero crow with forward stick moments before touch down. This is the correct way to set up crow. I could email you the SPM file or some scree shots from my DX18 if you have trouble setting this up.
Love the sail planes, just that swoosh sound is awesome. My arrows szd 54 swooshes amazing. Is that a word?. Hope your pot plants come in good. Nows the time to plant. Lol.
I need to get my Volantex version up and running again. I can''t believe that you still have NO LEAVES on your trees - we're in post Azalea full bloom season here in Mobile AL!
Ali was at B’Ham Jam in Birmingham AL a couple weeks ago. It was really great to meet him and watch him fly. He let a few of the club members buddy box the MB-339. Hope to see you at Bigfoot in the fall. Come down and fly at the best RC field in the Southeast! Super great people here in Bama.
@Brian, I’d like to know your thoughts also regarding this. I already have the FMS ASW and this TH ASW is next on my glider to get list, looks way more nimble than the 17 from FMS.
I've never flown before this model but I don't want to make mistakes when throwing it and I wanted to know how much power you used to throw it. Thanks a lot Bryan
Brian. Nice plane. I have the FMS equivalent. Did I hear you mention coming to Joe Nall? That so great to hear. Hope to meet you and Megan there. I’m only about 50 minutes from there. Hope all are doing well. 👋😉
@@bcflyer99 Hello. Houston, Tx. Approximately 1000 miles. Joe Nall is at Triple Tree Aerodrome located in Woodruff, SC. Beautiful place to visit. Well worth the money and time if you got it. Glad to have you visit. 👋😉

FPV that baby in the mountains for sure! Great flying as always.
The last sailplane I had was a Great Planes Spectra in the mid 90s. This may be my next. Thanks for the videos!
I was gonna be there I would want the camera crew autograph for the excellent video quality and workmanship and patience 👊🏼

Awesome me too Joe Nall...can't wait to meet you guy's.
Did we get a chance to meet??? Just got home from 2024! Video's coming soon!

Love mine! Sweet flyer that is going to be a lot of fun in summer thermals. Crow makes it easier to land than my Conscendo too.
Ohhh Yeahhh, Luv The BIG Sail Planes! 👍👍😁😎
That sound is so awesome!

Another great video, guys! How did it compare to the FMS ASW17. It was also fun to see an old suggested video you made with Esteban 👍🏼
Flying a sailplane, RC or otherwise, tests your airmanship... best kind of flying
How does the TH ASW-28 compare with the HH ASW-17 regarding flight characteristics...?

Of the 3 or 4 28's you've flown, which do you prefer? BTW, thanks for the advice at the end on batteries and such...it really helps us noob's
Hello brian!!!! did you launch with half throttle or full throttle??? Thanks
Real sorry, but I will have to guess, but generally I launch at full throttle, unless I'm being lazy, or slope soaring.

@@payitfwdrcl6171 yikes! I just checked the map. It’s a 15 hour drive.
@@bcflyer99 Understood. It’s like the Disney of RC. If you ever get a chance to come out this way you will always be welcome. 😊
@@payitfwdrcl6171 More like the Oshkosh of RC!
I love this scream of the gliders
That is SWEEEEET plane 👌🏻
2nd thoughts on the A10.... 70MM 👍👍
Those are probably sandhill cranes.
Hot sauce or hot seasoning. Rub some wherever you want to keep them away. My wife uses sriracha sauce.
Will it fly on 3s?
yes
Why call this an ASW28 if it has Flaps?
