I'm over 74 years old and I told my son I wish I was young as I would love to be your apprentice. Thanks you have given an old man many hours of great work/ videos. You are a Canadian treasure; no BS. Leo

Back in the day, I use to build coffee tables out of job scrap; 2x12's tops, 2x4 frame, 1x4 trim, 4x4 legs. Rough but if the freaking house collapsed you could have taken shelter underneath them. I really like your videos and I wish that I had known some of your tricks when I was working construction. Spent 7 years in the trade then decided to become a Doctor. Still have my old tool belt and tools. Sigh...I'm retired now. Be careful.
My sister's boyfriend built my house by himself. He learned carpentry at the JVS in high school. I guess they teach you how to work solo actually! It's not easy, i watched him do a large barn himself, pretty amazing. Your work is awesome btw! Great videos always
I was thinking about a beer holder just as you said missing 1 thing thumbs up bud I hope you bring the chair to ever job to sit down at the end of the day and have a beer and admire your work
It's IKEAs latest tool. You order a furniture and they send you a Crazyframer. Just put it near a tree, and it will cut out all the pieces and nail together :D
10.20- 11.20 it's the speed the camera is moving at combined with your speed, I'm just sat here laughing to myself. I aspire to cut wood let alone frame like you! Only joined a couple of months ago but loving your content. Cheers for your efforts in sharing.
and by making a Muskoka chair is how I know you're a fellow Canadian and I agree with the horizontal back boards I always find it causes less problems for people with bad backs then the vertical ones on typical commercial ones
Canadian builders. Build your house and your furniture. This video was the final straw, I'm moving to Canada 13:18 thats how my aunt put a nail through her thumb while helping us build our barn haha
The strongest chair ever. My deckchair broke just an hour ago coincidentally. It has now 8 tie-raps around one post but it’s squeeky. Go to put a screw and wood glue in it i think.
👍🏻love it brotha! Skilled indeed you are, been a finish carpenter for 15yrs been gettin into rough framing as of late and your videos have helped🙏🏻Keep it up!!
@@lazurus222 last time i trimmed a tree i used an electric chainsaw with no battery. meaning climbing a giant chestnut tree with ropes and harness AND an extension cord. not my idea. not my chainsaw. it was dumb. :)
These last two vids are the dopest. I hope really hope you make the rest of your vids just like this. Love the mini chain saw btw. That'll be the next thing i add to my flexvolt collection lol
Classic video, the last part tied it all together. How did the flex volt tools stand up to a full framing job, especially the nailer. Great content in your videos, keep it up.
If you already have the flex volt saw then it’s worth it because you get another 60 v battery and a charger. But you can get a way better gas chainsaw for that price.
on top of all the spot on information you give all your followers, this is a prime example of what we do when the work is done....whether its chairs, saw horses, benches, or "stuff"....cool video.
Love the content! I for one, would enjoy seeing how rafters/stairs are calculated, measured, and cut. How to properly sheet a deck, and perhaps a look at a plan an how to interpret it (like laying out walls/window and door ROs)
Great job building the chair, I think it looks great. You could probably start a business building chairs for people. I'm sure that you would have no problem selling them.
Probably the best DeWalt ad I've seen in ages...... 👍
This is why you don't leave your tools and timelspse camera on a job - a hobo does this
That is a good looking chair for something put together that fast.

Love the condensed version.
Hate it when people clutter the matter with facts.
Nice job Bob.

@@Factory928AC Patreon is likely the best way to support him, considering how little YT pays nowadays.
I like how practical and to the point it was. Today, when every little step take planning and coordination, this felt really refreshing.
Great chair for fishing: tough, compact, light and with gentle touch to detail. Love it!
I bet you 3yrs later it still isn't light

Filimon Danopoulos hah
Man makes Heaviest chair EVER, in 15min.

For some reason, I found you just nailing the leg to the floor to hold it up for you very entertaining
You’re using my favorite wood joinery method: hand held power nailer joints. Strong, safe, and permanent ... in a way.
I was thinking about a beer holder just as you said missing 1 thing thumbs up bud I hope you bring the chair to ever job to sit down at the end of the day and have a beer and admire your work
It’s NOT ugly at all I love it !! I need a couple of wooden flower pots You could whip those up in 6 minutes!! 😂❤️🙋♀️
in 17 years working in the USA I have never seen someone like you. you do the work of a crew of 10 workers. I am learning a lot from you.
Years later, the people in the house, still use that chair! 👍 😁
Of course, because @ 2:19 .. he nailed it to the floor. :-)
Good job,I'm a framer, watch all your video's.Im gonna build one on my lunch break .
Nice finishing touch. Leave the chair for the next guys!
It's official ! As of this amazing video The crazy framer and furniture builder is NOT a robot.
Yeah I'm pretty sure you're wrong because the man in this video is clearly a MACHINE.
It's IKEAs latest tool. You order a furniture and they send you a Crazyframer. Just put it near a tree, and it will cut out all the pieces and nail together :D
After watching you cut like a boss, you're now my idol
That's high end LA furniture. LA being Lacombe, Alberta! Great vids, man.
Excellent vid! Love how you can open a bottle with your Stiletto! Now I can really justify why I bought mine.
You're making the rest of us look bad. :-)
yes , you !!! LOL
Picaso with that chainsaw and nail gun, Nice...
Legend has it he is still sitting in that old house drinking his beer!

This is extremely impressive.
This episode of The Crazy Farmer brought to you by DeWalt.
Your best video yet man. Enjoy your beer!
Love your speedy efficiency and workforce demeanor. Wonderful creation!
beats a bucket any day of the week. mainly because of the beer hole!
As soon as I saw the extra hand space, right before you said it.. I was like man , that should have a cup holder. Clutch way to end the day
Gotta love doing finishing work with a chainsaw ;)

Haha that was pretty good. I enjoyed it made me smile!

its actually pretty stylish man
👍🏻love it brotha! Skilled indeed you are, been a finish carpenter for 15yrs been gettin into rough framing as of late and your videos have helped🙏🏻Keep it up!!
That was incredibly epic
Nice work! Larry Haun would say nail on those slats first, and then cut them all in one final motion 😉
Man the plumbers and electricians are gonna love you! 😂
And sheetrock guys as well.
norm abram would be proud!!!! i love that chair
Make a video explaining how to brace and plumb walls and how to tie top plates together
Could you post a video a day every time your on a job site? Id watch them :)
I've made way uglier stuff and I had drawn plans....lol Hope you enjoyed the beer. GJ!
Old world craftsmanship
that dewalt cordless chainsaw is sick
Wouldn't it be brushless they are all usually cordless hahaha just giving a hard time
@@lazurus222 last time i trimmed a tree i used an electric chainsaw with no battery. meaning climbing a giant chestnut tree with ropes and harness AND an extension cord. not my idea. not my chainsaw. it was dumb. :)
Looking forward to your other YT channels: The Crazy Cabinet Maker, The Crazy Chainsaw Sculptor, and The Crazy Boatmaker

These last two vids are the dopest. I hope really hope you make the rest of your vids just like this. Love the mini chain saw btw. That'll be the next thing i add to my flexvolt collection lol
Nice job bro; time for a beer i like it; good job brother saludos from one mexicano keep up the good videos 👍💯👍👍👍👍
Classic video, the last part tied it all together.
How did the flex volt tools stand up to a full framing job, especially the nailer.
Great content in your videos, keep it up.
The saws are awesome! The nailer is a little slow , but the convenience is worth it .
Is the chainsaw worth buying for a carpenter? Already have that flexvolt circular saw, it's a beast
If you already have the flex volt saw then it’s worth it because you get another 60 v battery and a charger. But you can get a way better gas chainsaw for that price.
That's nice n all...have to admit I've done a few things like this. But it's kinda hard to appreciate because of so little thought put into it.
think i may have used the recip saw for those arm rest ends
A chair made for king of framing
The best seat in the house!
Frickin man therapy mate!
When your good your just good. (At the end when he nailed into a with his hand on the other side...) Lol this is sick as hell
I love the sound of that gun
on top of all the spot on information you give all your followers, this is a prime example of what we do when the work is done....whether its chairs, saw horses, benches, or "stuff"....cool video.
AWESOME VIDEO!! But what if your a “Left Handed” Beer Drinker? This can be very Confusing.
Nice work brother
my god your fast :) what made you go cordless and is it better love to see a review of the new gear
dont you ever never forget the beerholder when building something :D
Are those full size framing nails? And if so, can the nailer also shoot screw/ring shank nails?
Love the content! I for one, would enjoy seeing how rafters/stairs are calculated, measured, and cut. How to properly sheet a deck, and perhaps a look at a plan an how to interpret it (like laying out walls/window and door ROs)
the warrior's rest after a good day's work !!
Those electric chain saws are cool as frig
Nice job be proud a lot of people can’t do that
Love the video mate! And damn those are some nice tools.
Guys please don’t rush you can get seriously hurt but he is a professional
What a man fantastic job
You are so talented. I bet that chair will outlast you!
When he brought out the chainsaw, I lost it.
Really enjoy your vids, keep them coming!
Uh-mazing! Did you get a whole bunch of snow? In Banff/ Canmore we got a butt load. Great chair, great content, keep up the good work!
That was was a great video, I am dying laughing. Your channel is entertaining at the least, thanks.
This is sweet. I love that technology has advanced to the point that you've added a battery powered chainsaw to your arsenal.
You've started something now mate, the next trades in there will be fighting over that chair!
Job well done! Just don’t understand the excess nailing into the floor to hold a leg up... seems like unneeded damage to me
Beer Chair!! Need to put a small cooler under the cup holder to keep the brew from warming... that’s if the beers around enough to get warm.
More content please!
Very xingon! Here from México.
Enzo mari is proud of you
One of the best thing iv'e see all week :) :)
You definitely earned your beer great work 🍺🍺🍺🍺
Badass chainsaw if I don't say!! Going to get one now!
You should make a video on how you got in the trade and salary and about your self cool channel man
Which nail gun is that? And what nails do you use? Getting ready to make the purchase.
Great job building the chair, I think it looks great. You could probably start a business building chairs for people. I'm sure that you would have no problem selling them.
How do you like the 60v tools?
Some hipster in Portland will pay you 500 dollars for that chair.
How's the 60v dewalt treating you? I hear flex volt is garbage below the surface
The new wood whisperer?
Well done !
