You are truly inspiring. You remind me of myself, chop chop, super human "CrossFit" working and building. Ive seen 10+ of your videos. I'm finishing up a 4 and 5 level concrete construction project in Mexico to rent out, then i plan to head to Texas to "build a 2/1 house in 3 months by myself, probably in mid March. Can I pay you to build? You are amazing. Working alone. No mistakes, if so? Learning experience. Bravo and keep on chop chop choping :) you're a machine
My oldest son is in his early 20's and he has type 1 diabetes. But thank God for this piece of article ruclips.net/user/postUgkxibD_L3sDyYENL5CwePCd9plRBqjzw2mw At first he thought he had the flu and was lying down on the bed for three days until his sister took him to the hospital. They took his blood and it was 600. What I do not understand is how he could have gotten it, since no one in the family has it. But he is winning the battle now. This is a good stuff.
Canada can be a different animal eh. Snow is fuqing heavy.. and moisture expansion is a pain in the ass :). i hear Termites r a thing down ther,, dat true?
Ok, I’m a combat vet, I skydive, scuba, hit the gym on a regular basis, fight train and Jiu-Jitsu, firearm expert, etc, etc... I’m not saying this to brag - I just want to make a point. I framed on Cape Cod during the winter for about ONE month. It was the most physically demanding and dangerous thing that I’ve ever done. On a daily basis I was balancing on icy framing 2 or 3 stories above the ground while holding as much as 150lbs of yet to be attached roof joists and other awkward and cumbersome lumber that seemed to always be trying to leverage me off my feet and to the ground below. After a month of doing this contractor’s dirty work with no help from machinery I was like FUUUCK this! Framing is no joke, that’s some serious work and I’m not trying to work THAT hard ...I mean it’s like work married a marathon or something ...and I was doing it in winter which is bad enough when I couldn’t feel my fingers holding onto the only hint of handle keeping me from falling 3 stories onto a driveway, I could only imagine what it’s like framing in the middle of summer without an ant’s ass of shade to be found anywhere ...yeah, no thanks!
My first summer out of high school I framed. I had two falls, one when I put my foot on a sheet rock block to nail in a pony wall and the block of course gave lose as it was meant only for a place to nail sheet rock. I fell flat on my back about 14 feet to the plywood deck. I was lucky I did not hit a saw horse or wall brace. The second fall was when, right after lunch, I headed up a flight of stars that collapsed just as I was about to reach the second floor. It had only two sinkers toe nailed in, one each side. That was 46 years ago. Built a couple of sheds since then but way to old to walk plate anymore...
Man I would pay you 100 bucks a day if I can just watch you and learn. You have a talent. My dream is to build a little 1200 sqft ranch. I know the basics but your advanced
Excellent work. I frame and do form carpentry also and will be putting out videos soon on how I build. Great videos my man keep on bringing them, God bless.
Crazy Framer- I see those 2x6 UP or DOWN (or both) and you stated that we'd see what those are for ... however I guess I musta missed it ... what do those Ls and Us do? Provide a surface for drywall to be attached, say in a corner where a wall joins another wall, or ... what? Thanks
Great video, lots of good tips. Will you be doing a video of how to square off the walls from the foundation up, that would be interesting to see your method. Enjoy your beer and keep safe.
didnt mention anything about crowning your studs. also what are those L for facing the outside on the ends and in the middle.i understand the ones facing down but theres three up
GOD DAMN BRO!! Your name suits you! You are a great framer, you should be a foreman running a crew and showing these young bucks what’s what!! YOU ROCK CRAZY FRAMER!! Enjoy the beer! 👍😎🌵
Crazy framer your videos have inspired me! I do have a tip though. If you start your layout by measuring to 15 1/4" tap a nail into that mark now you can pull 16" layout with the x mark ahead. This also works for 24 " o.c. By measuring to 23 1/4"
Question: how did you secure wall end, to stay in a correct line, not to go over the edge?? I did not see you putting any 2by4's, or any block/nails there, on the edge?? What keeps the wall to to fall?? Just wondering????/
@@Eeropolvasti he toe nailed the bottom plate to the floor, on the chalk line, to keep it straight and stop it from sliding off the floor during lifting
Man that makes me nervous when you’re standing that wall. How many have you lost over the side when a gust of wind catches it? Awesome job, love this channel!

He deserves a raise
@@KDD8 And a trip to Las Vegas!
A tekila is better👍
I cannot imagine your life without a nail gun. Amazing stuff, I binge watched your first series on house build.
Simon, where is this house build series? Can you please share a link?
In this channel, Jason (I think that's his name) has 11 videos marked with episode number. Definitely worth spending the time.
It's called how to build a house alone. Episodes 1-11
I hope you like it
Every wall...go to drink beer.....Don't drink to much when you are working.........
Good job and excellent video. Thank you for show your skills.
Incredible, amazingly talented, hard working young man. There not paying him enough, I'll bet!💵💵
Excellent! You guys don’t get the respect you deserve. Not to mention your doing the work of 5 guys. Thanks for making the world go round man...
12:39 "But you know my channel has nothing to do with being safe..." pls don't die
I been framing for almost 30 years down south in the state no snow. Never tried to frame by myself. Great job!!!

You truly live up to your name. Nice work, thanks for sharing
i love to work alone glad I found your channel you inspire me.
Thanks for actually explaining how to position the studs because me being from Europe we build brick houses so it isn't really common sense
Nice man. I appreciate humans like u man. Dope asf. So precise and orderd. Everything marked, structured and lined. Bro. Nice
Your workflow is crazy!
You are one crazy framer love the videos will be uploading framing videos too.

Michael Devito try roofing....
I was a career firefighter, 25 years...I did my damnedest to stay off the roof, clumsy as hell. These kind of guys impress me beyond belief...

Guessing you were not a combat arms MOS. Framing is easy AF compared to a day in the life of an 11B.
framing beast I knew a guy like you back then
I'm in awe. I can barely build a shed. With friends to help.
Nice to see some one that can frame a wall as fast as I can 😁👍

Never seen a wall built this way, love this idea, will try next time
How the hell do you do it??
Maybe by matching the stud crowns first?
Far out I hope I get some one like you as my boss when I start my apprenticeship.
Excellent work. I frame and do form carpentry also and will be putting out videos soon on how I build. Great videos my man keep on bringing them, God bless.
you said you'd show us how to frame a window in a different video... looking forward to it, thank you a ton!
Another excellent piece of work man. Have a couple of beers not one. You deserve it.
Dude as a first year apprentice carpenter I have to say I fuckin love watching your videos, absolutely sick, would work with you any day, cheers!
Gave those wall jacks everything they could handle. Time to have a beer.
Sooo funny 😄 “ my channel has nothing to do with being safe” “ My jacks a little broke” OMG so funny 😂 ABSOLUTELY the best video EVER on Utube !! 🔨🌼
Love this dude. Don’t get dead.
You're a madman. Love watching guys like you for the simple yet genius little tips.
that was narly man, freaking BEAST...
I love your vids. Keep up the great work 👊

Man you're good! That is nerve racking as hell i would accidentally drop that wall over the edge! Lol amazing work!
Man your are amazing great way to post the videos on the job size as your working your teaching us thaks at lot
Could you explain why Tyvek is so short? Not on full OSB or Densglass area. It works like rain gutter?
You smashed my mind men!!!
Heh, I think your square has seen better days. Sign of a hard worker
You are the number one . Man
Thank you
MR.SUPER FRAMER.
WHAT TOOLS YOU USE
..
WHAT KIND OF FRAMING SAW
AND
WHAT TYPE OF BLADES YOU RECOMEND
Amazing these very primitive building methods !
Watching you lift that wall was making my stomach turn lol hats of to ya tho!
That is amazing building a wall that long...Have you ever lost one over the edge...or had a disaster...
Must have nice straight lumber in Canada... here we have to crown every stud
Excellent work!
Do you put your toenail hinges into the joists?
what a lovely job
Cool vid bro, I'm gonna try onsite tomorrow, 1st year apprentice, my boss well be impressed, can't wait.
union?
Great video, lots of good tips.
Will you be doing a video of how to square off the walls from the foundation up, that would be interesting to see your method.
Enjoy your beer and keep safe.
Peter Kiernan eventually. I’ll make videos on every part of framing a house.
Speechless!!! Great job!!
I love your videos bro
Will we get to see the build continue to electrical wiring and plumbing and insulation?
How fast you finish your beer ? :) I’m a big fan of your working style... watching your videos is pure satisfaction.
really enjoy what you do great job
didnt mention anything about crowning your studs. also what are those L for facing the outside on the ends and in the middle.i understand the ones facing down but theres three up
HOLY FACK, got wall jacks and everything awesome sheit dude
Do you crown your studs?
I am speechless.....Good fucking work bro!!!!!!!! Keep the content coming!!!!
Looks like fun.
Are your studs cut to length from the supplier? Over here a 2.4m is around 2.5 and you have to cut your own, which sucks.
Watching to frame a whole house, by yourself was amazing. When i drive by a construction site and see five guys framing a home i think puZZies LOL
don't call framer pussies if your not a framer. I bet you will not last a day in framing . lol pussie
David Epina calm down you fucking idiot
GOD DAMN BRO!! Your name suits you! You are a great framer, you should be a foreman running a crew and showing these young bucks what’s what!! YOU ROCK CRAZY FRAMER!! Enjoy the beer! 👍😎🌵
Does that Dense Board qualify as wind bracing?
Where do you work friend? very good videos
Omg I want to do what you do for a living!
Oh man you and your beer 🍻 ..cheers 🍻
9:00..I was sure we're going to fall together. ..crazy 😜
Dude. You’re right. You’re crazy!
Nice job man! Keep it up.
Love it, that’s how it’s done!
You are a one man crew.
Which aircompressor do you use?
Great videos dude! keep them coming
I assume you do not raise walls alone when it is windy. :-) Love the trick for lifting the wall to get a block under it. You work smart!
Thanks for the new videos
He's back again fuck yeah
@thecrazyframer what kind/size air compressor do you have on the jobsite?
What kind of nail gun do you have
Here in the uk health and safety guy would be shitting bricks with you have no guard rail around that floor!
Crazy framer your videos have inspired me! I do have a tip though. If you start your layout by measuring to 15 1/4" tap a nail into that mark now you can pull 16" layout with the x mark ahead. This also works for 24 " o.c. By measuring to 23 1/4"
Pro Status, get it done bro my best days framing are alone LOL
i noticed in a few of your other videos you have a red porter cable compressor is that what you run your framing gun with thanks
Keagan MacKinnon I used to run them with that but it died. Now I have a bigger dewalt compressor.
Good job 👷

The only thing holding the wall was me with the 2x6 brace. I wouldn’t try that on a windy day!
Did you put a stop upright on outside wall, coming up?? I sure did not see it??=)..and are you in Canada??
@@Eeropolvasti he toe nailed the bottom plate to the floor, on the chalk line, to keep it straight and stop it from sliding off the floor during lifting
been waiting a while for this video its good to see you still making videos and keep up the good work and the videos rolling out
time to have a beer! lol, love your videos.
What's the paper strip for?
Do you crown the studs?
Do you toe nail the studs
Man he's good
Man that makes me nervous when you’re standing that wall. How many have you lost over the side when a gust of wind catches it? Awesome job, love this channel!
you are the fucking god of framing, mate
What is the purpose of the vertical 2x6” L’s and what are there spacings? You made it a point to note them but didn’t mention their purpose. Thanks
fckurvtc they’re for the partition walls to connect to, and to also still have enough wood to screw drywall into. Hope that helps
Have you ever tried to use a Worm Drive circular saw instead of the sidewinder?
Does anybody make a cordless worm drive?
yes. www.amazon.com/DEWALT-DCS577B-FLEXVOLT-Drive-Baretool/dp/B0753QHKW7/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1540346875&sr=8-2&keywords=dewalt+60v+worm+drive
@@theTealStory that's not a worm drive that is a rear handle, worm drive style. Mikita has one too, personally the mikita is way better
What kind of nail g I n do you have
Holy crud man that was freaking nice
Mad skills!
