Same thought as well, one thing I noticed is Godzilla 1954 opening started with the stomps and roars followed by the theme. Then Minus One ended with the theme with the stomps and roar at the end. A franchise coming at full circle.
for some reason, when i went to see it a 2nd time in a different cinema, this part was muted, probably the tech guy didint want the speakers ruined by Godzilla lol
Lights rudely got turned on and the score muted before the credits finished rolling in my screening so I missed this. Thank you for posting this, can’t wait to have this on Blu-Ray.
As a theater employee, 90% of the time stuff like that is just random technical problems that we have no clue how to fix. Sorry that had to happen to you guys, though.
My theatre held nothing back with this part. I knew the roar was coming but it was so loud I got startled (prolly the loudest the movie had been, I hope their speakers are ok lol)
Am I the only one that every time the footsteps are heard more and more and then Godzilla's roar passes, reminds me of the beginning of Shin Godzilla?? 🤔
If anyone didn’t know this is a call back to the first Godzilla movie, so in the beginning of the first movie you can here a couple of footsteps followed up by a roar this also happened in KOTM
This could mean only 2 things: 1._ we're gonna get a Sequel 2._ it's just a Tribute to the Original Movie and how it ends. Also, The roar at the End HITS like a Thunder ❤
When I was going out of the theater the people heard Godzilla was gonna roar and everyone in the theater that came out came back in to see if there was another post credits scene but no it wasnt
This was actually my biggest gripe with the movie. If it was up to me there wouldn’t even be that reveal at all, but I understand that they basically have to do it for marketing purposes. I just *really* wish they saved the Godzilla reveal till mid-credits or post-credits, because while it was fun, that Godzilla reveal really undercut the emotion of the scene right before it. The scene right before it was the emotional catharsis that the whole movie was building too, but immediately following that with a “Godzilla’s still alive” tease didn’t give me enough time to sit in that emotion. Just my opinion though. I REALLY loved the movie though - in my top 3 the year!
@NathanA I mean, I knew it was coming. Story wise, that's always been the thing with godzilla movies. Even if by some miracle he's defeated, he'll just come back eventually. And yeah, marketing wise, of course. The director said in an interview that he was willing to do a sequel. So they had to set that up right away. And I meant movies in general. The post credit scenes are getting a little ridiculous. I remember sitting through a 3 hour movie. I wanted to see if there was a post credit scene. The credits were un godly long. 20-30 min at least. I had to pee really bad. Post credit scene came. It was literally 5 seconds and was vary underwhelming. Wish they'd just do what this movie did, or more mid credit scenes.
The funny part this could be forever cliff hanger right there since other movies like Shin Godzilla, Godzilla vs Dest, and GMK they could also do it for this movie aswell so we might not be even getting a sequel
It's intriguing how this resembles how the original 1954 Godzilla movie opens. A black screen, footsteps, and a roar.

Loved Godzilla's Roar at the End.
Roar had me jumped
Bro that movie was sad and good

At least your lights were off, the theater I went to didn't even dim them. No respect, I swear.

@@Gojirawars03 Well fuck, now I feel like a Karen. 😅🤣
This Godzilla's steps and the roar. It's like ASMR
WHAT?😭
His steps and roar is not satisfying it’s supposed to be threatening and cool
I get what you mean, but bro you had zero survival instinct when you considering this as satisfaction to hear 😅
Best Godzilla movie I’ve seen
facts
Big facts
No
Best movie in the year
Nope GxK 2 was better
@@michaelmclean5803Keep smoking that shit.

It was very much worth it to wait until the end. I was still stuck in awe at that point.
Am I the only one that every time the footsteps are heard more and more and then Godzilla's roar passes, reminds me of the beginning of Shin Godzilla?? 🤔
Like Shin Gojira opening, this after credit scene is a reference to 1954 opening, where Gojira roar after three heavy footsteps
If anyone didn’t know this is a call back to the first Godzilla movie, so in the beginning of the first movie you can here a couple of footsteps followed up by a roar this also happened in KOTM

I've never understood why people leave theaters earlier.
Imagine missing out on this absolute monster of a homage.
No pun intended.
My mom got scared when she heard Godzilla's roar
It was emotional
@@Birdiemangaming yes it was , especially for the generation who got to the original Godzilla 🤯
I’ll tell you one thing: He’s back and he’s MAD
I knew I should've stayed for the credits
Great call back to the 1954. The stomps getting closer to end with a roar 10/10 movie
bro i cant believe i missed this!!!
Best movie of the year
Definitely was the best!! 🔥🔥
ATSV ?
@@thaismith8266not even close
@@friendsza9711most of the family scenes were kinda boring, it wasn’t really needed

An excellent tribute to the original 1954 Godzilla. The original it was 3 times and roar but Minus One there are 6 times and roars
As it saying Minus G was more powerful than 1954, given the roar are just the OG roar on a loudspeaker......
Bro stayed for the credits
I just watched Godzilla minus one on Apple and it was absolutely fantastic.
Such a good movie
Just Like the 1954 Orginal of course we end it off like this 😈😈😈😈😈😈
Damn literally a foot in the grave, and they brought basically the original back.
When I was going out of the theater the people heard Godzilla was gonna roar and everyone in the theater that came out came back in to see if there was another post credits scene but no it wasnt
BRO AT MY THATRE EVERYTIME GODZILLA WALKED OR ROAR IT SOUNDED LIKE THUNDER STROOK OUTSIDE
That's the point........😉
Thank god they did the Godzilla's still alive reveal before the credits. Tired of sitting through them for a quick 5 second clip.
Godzilla did die in the film. It's just that he won't stay dead

Just like the original 1954 movie!!!!
I love that Minus Goji uses the original Roar, but update to sound unique from 54
