For anyone wondering about why it’s called “Minus One” it’s because Japan was ground zero due to the nuclear bombs. And then Godzilla showed up and put them in the negatives. Essentially meaning Godzilla is another cataclysmic event
The Odo Island form was so much savage, feral and absolutely brutal, I love it. It's fluid, gigantic and awesome. Would love to see more of that specific beast.
Another thing unique about this Godzilla was that the repaired flesh wasn't perfect. It was more like scar tissue, and far more vulnerable to damage. Use of Godzilla's own heat ray and being at ground zero of multiple explosions, we see the flesh from Godzilla's previous injuries get burned away.
I wonder since his whole body was destroyed, if there is a sequel would he have a different design as well as already saw if it regenerated it would be scar tissue. Wonder if we’ll get like some burn victim looking Godzilla
That healing factor is terrifying. Seeing it recover from the bomb in its head is already bad. Seeing a chunk of its body possibly starting to recover is worse. He might even come back way more durable or stronger because of it. Great movie, can't wait to see it again whenever it comes out on bluray.
One could say that the spines on his back pushing out also act as cooling rods like in nuclear reactors, and push out to charge the atomic breath, but then push back in once the beam is released
I was also reminded of capacitors charging up. Capacitors are often intended to discharge suddenly in one moment, so using them to store up energy may yield a more potent blast rather than just venting atomic breath in the traditional way from previous movies. At least, that's what it looked like in this movie.
This version of Godzilla makes me realize just how much we needed a resurgence in just a truly villainous Godzilla. The antihero shtick is cool and all, but Minus One was SUCH an amazing return to form. Definitely my new favorite Godzilla film
I'd take villainous kaiju of any kind tbh. We need more inventive and exciting kaiju films. MV is good and whatnot, but I've never actually seen a really good kaiju horror besides cloverfield.
I noticed how throughout the course of the movie his atomic breath really damaged him, but as the movie goes on it damages him less and less as he adapts to it, makes you wonder how explosives and large caliber guns will affect him in the future after he regenerates again. Also he might get taller as an adaptation as well!
As an adaptation? Why? Many lizards exhibit indeterminate growth (ie they grow throughout their entire lives). It would make sense for Godzilla to be 1 such reptile, in addition the growth could be accelerated by the radiation induced changes.
@@23Raind It would be an adaptation due to the fact he didn’t need to be that tall in this film but might grow taller due to events in the film or future events. There was no reason for him to grow any taller, so he stayed the same size, however he did need to adapt to become more resistant to the damage on his body inflicted by the atomic breath because he actively used it a lot. TLDR: he is not actively growing, and most likely won’t unless he needs to.
@@shockwavegaming5907 "he is not actively growing" The Size difference between odo Island and the rest of the movie is enormous. Like I said, numerous reptiles exhibit indeterminate growth. If Godzilla has this, and even accelerated, we would not expect the growth to be so fast that we can see it just by staring. In real creatures that have this trait (many reptiles and amphibians) the process is too slow to see with naked eye. Thus, not seeing any changes in Godzilla's size (post Odo island) is not relevant as the events after odo island that involve Godzilla occur over a fairly short period of time. The term adaptation feels like it is being used loosely here. If I have someone punch me in the stomach repeatedly over a period of months, my stomach muscles will strengthen, tighten, become impact resistant and the punches will hurt less and eventually not at all. Bodies "adapt" to environmental stresses within limits. This should be no different for Godzilla. Much like punching a brick wall, Godzilla's body was new to the backlash of the ability and adjusted to the pressure. The same applies to someone who trains by punching brick walls. Adaptation to environmental pressures by growth seems a bit of a stretch, especially since I cannot think of any particular stress that would require an increase if size for Godzilla to handle that a body could not adjust for in less demanding ways. Indeterminate growth accelerated by radiation induced mutations is the most simple explanation and is observed in reptiles (including dinosaurs). Its too slow to see
The intresting thing about minus one is that according to the novelization of the movie he actually had regen BEFORE being mutated. So his incredible regeneration is not a mutation but rather a NATURAL trait his kind posseses. Said regeneration being so fast and potent it could outperform the nuke as it healed him fast enough to stave off the heat and blast of the bomb.
But if that's the case, ¿Why we didn't see another Pre-mutated Specimen? And if they got Exctinct but THIS godzillasaurus (just to put it a Nickname), ¿how did they Die?
@@aquilesgarciaperez5918 dinos had a history of killing their kin that or lack of food but my personal idea is that these things live a really long time thanks to their regeneration and that one has been around for a long time without a partner perhaps the species got unlucky and could not find another counterpart to reproduce with in time
It was one of the more original and interesting ways they've come up with in the franchise. Plus, it's somewhat believable with the resources they had at that time.
One of my favourite parts about this Godzilla's atomic breath is that while he charges up, the dorsal spines act kind of like control rods on a nuclear reactor. Such a cool detail that makes this one of the all-time Godzilla movies.
I just absolutely love how they called out for Godzilla’s pre-mutated form that he WAS in fact a dinosaur species that survived the KT extinction event of the Mesozoic era 🙌☄️🦖 I mean we’ve seen this before in other films but like as a dinosaur lover, that really was SO COOL to see him in his badass original dino form like even non-mutated Godzilla could kick ass!!!💪🦖
@@kevinwashington7311 Then you have no idea what the show is about.. It not giant lizard vs monke. MV human have zero zero human development. All is just cringe, oh ya a whiskey bottle vs MechaG. Annoying human charac keep wanna make joke for no reason. The only thing MV good for is kaiju fighting that all.
@Lawz1993 Again, the hype was just that hype! We all won't agree but this movie was just ok. Visually, it deserved the Oscar! I know many off the momma basement dwellers/ anti social kids/adults won't agree but it's OK! Carry on
The one thing about the minus one Godzilla is how his spines lighten up and purtroded out and then blasted his atomic breath it kinda reminded me of charging up a blaster gun but except it was launched as a blast of atomic destruction it was awesome.
I like how with Shin Godzilla started a sort of a trend of making atomic breath unique for each new iteration of the creature. I still hope for Japanese to make another go at the body-horror type of Godzilla in the future, similar to Shin.
It was also recently confirmed by the director that the Godzilla we see after operation crossroads was more burn scars than scales. Godzilla was always able to regenerate (even in its pre-radiates state) but because Godzilla was left in a mess after the explosion, it’s regeneration went out of control and caused him to grow into the size we saw later. The radiation did nothing to his regeneration ability.
14:38 Godzilla looks *so awesome* in this shot. In the entire history of the Godzilla franchise, I've never seen him look so FURIOUS! Incredible work by the designers.
Except axolotls are nowhere NEAR intelligent enough to be any kind of problem, even if nuclear mutation makes them more intelligent. They are comedically stupid, at least by vertebrate standards
Just an argument. I believe the director said Godzilla survived the nuke thanks to its crazy regenerative abilities. It couldnt recover to its pre-irradiated state. The Zeros 20mm wouldn’t have done anything.
The kamikaze pilot's apparent cowardice shows up eventually as the good judgment not to throw his life away. When he gets a plane with an ejector seat, he shows himself equal to the challenge.
Honestly, I never realised that mark on the women’s neck or surprisingly fast recovery, might have something to do with Godzilla… that is… unsettling to say the least…
@@aquilesgarciaperez5918 more or less i only red wiki page of those movie, but i remember something about 2 prietress that could call or somehow feel mothra. so something like that yea, she could sense him approching or how it feel
Just looking at his feet seeing the way his toes splay out shows his original anatomy is like that of other therapod dinosaurs and birds in particular the predatory kind as his toes splaying out helps distribute his weight like the sauropods the long necked dinosaurs who always walked with at least 3 feet on the ground to distribute the weight over a larger area.
I loved the added detail of Godzilla's spines jutting out when charging , then retracting when he fires the nuclear breath , it was a nice touch and made Godzilla grotesque in a great way , as well as his near instant healing.
It's hard to say what direction this story could take, so far like the Millenium Series before it, the Reiwa series seems to have their Godzilla films be independent of each other with no continuity between them. If Toho moves forward with this incarnation of Godzilla, they most certainly need to address what's happening to Noriko, but it might be a good idea to bring in another Kaiju for a traditional Godzilla Brawl. Considering that his head was totally blown off, it's possible Godzilla's regenerated head might have a new brain to go along with it; meaning he may not necessarily be p*ssed off at humans like he was previously, having a different personality like Doctor Who after a regeneration. Again, that all depends on if Toho actually moves forward with this continuity.
The director said he’s very willing to make a sequel. If all goes through I’d like a new Heisei era type Godzilla where he is still a villain most of the time just getting pissed off at new Kaiju appearing while keeping that 80s-90s feel or even going back to the G-Force route with a more Minus One style alternate history deal. (Yukikaze, Hibiki, and Takao in the movie were either given away or scrapped by 1947 along with the Chi-To tanks so definitely some alt history stuff going on)
Its possible that the fallout radiation from godzilla could heal people from all kinds of injuries and illness. So this way we can have some sort of balance in the world. Godzilla destroys but also unintentionally gives back. You can also make it, that godzilla always needs a nuke to recharge himself with. So he doesn't spam 10 atomic blasts in a day.
If Toho decides to make a series out of MO I hope they keep the films set in the past for a while. Each film could take place in a different decade and examine how the presence of monsters changes history.
I think he could have killed Godzilla in the beginning. That's why it haunts him the way it does - he knows if he had killed it when it was weaker, it would have stopped the devastation.
Not really, because the Director confirmed that Godzilla's Regeneration Abillities are natural, before even get Nuked, so the 20mm point blank probably would injured or Knock him off for a While (if Shikishima shot right to the Head).
@@aquilesgarciaperez5918 In addition, in the movie we see Godzilla regenerating his eyes after his first contact with the atomic bomb, so he likely would survive to heavy weapons. Likely that's why he was able to use ration instead of dying.
@@aquilesgarciaperez5918 There was also the matter that in the film implied (and confirmed in the novel) that Godzilla was aware of the pilot and his plane. He was pretty much outright daring the protagonist to take the shot at him.
It would be interesting to see different Godzillas in each other's franchises. How would Heisei Godzilla and Legendary react if they switched places? Heisei Godzilla is a lot more hostile to humans so I imagine the military and even Monarch would be completely opposed to him. He's much less likely to show mercy to opponents so if he defeats Kong in a fight he'll definitely finish him off without hesitation though that inability to play nice with others may cost him in the future. Legendary Godzilla would likely mind his own business unless provoked. He could ally himself with Heisei Mothra since their goal of keeping balance is similar. It would also be interesting to see if he feels enough of a kinship with Jr to adopt him since they're technically different species. The same goes for MO Godzilla taking the place of Showa Godzilla. Though it's hard to imagine MO Godzilla making allies with humans or the other kaiju since he's so much more aggressive and territorial than Showa. I would also love to see MO Godzilla switch places with Zilla. I could honestly see Zilla being a much bigger threat in 1948 Japan. The weapons are much less advanced and he could easily avoid the most dangerous ones. Shikishima would also be at a much greater risk of being caught by Zilla in his plane. His nest would also be harder to find and when the babies hatch all hell would break loose. Of course, the most fun part of these scenarios would be to see them fight each other's enemies.
kong would be able to take down minus one godzilla. kong is around 80,000 tons and has an axe which could absorb atomic blasts. He could also use his surroundings against godzilla and lastly-- kong can work with the humans to trap godzilla.
It is interesting to think about. So interesting I get fanfic ideas. Ones that, like most writers, I can't bring myself to actually write cuz of time and energy being close to nothing...one could say, it's less than nothing at points. Say... Minus one? Ay? I'll see myself out, that joke was awful XD
What a tribute to the OG 1954 Godzilla. This was one highly pissed off giant, atomic bomb releasing lizard. Both versions were mindless destruction machines but G-1 takes it miles further. This movie is something very special.
The pre-radiation Dino zilla had wiggly spikes too, like they were more like Fins before he was irradiated, then They really turned into ridged dorsal plates
i love the first form of Godzilla in the movie it reminds me of the Godzillasaurus from Heisei series It's maybe a inspiration or Call back to that which is pretty cool
Actually if you look closely at Shikashima's gun reticle, when Godzilla's head was near, his guns weren't lined up and would actually have fired just under Godzilla's Jaw. Fighter Aircraft's guns are fixed, meaning they don't swivel or move from their position and the way you adjust your aim is to reorient the entire plane. Since Shikashima's plane was on the ground and shutdown, there was no way for him to line up a shot on Godzilla's head. You could make the point that Shikashima could have shot Godzilla in the leg as it walked by which would be fair as that shot would have lined up.
Finally, a great explanation why Godzilla looked different in the beginning. I kept telling my friends about it but they didn't notice LOL. I only found online that this version was called a Godzillasaurus and changed later due to a radiation mutation, but that's it. Thanks for this video and for satisfying my curiosity!
I love this version of Godzilla. It’s like back then when he was just some lizard that became a monster because of the waste of nuclear tests. I do love the monster verse version too, but I love seeing Godzilla as a villain.
I think i speak for a lot of fans when i say that i'm glad that you re-uploaded this video. Best video of all time, in my opinion. Keep the good work up.👍🏻
@thethirstycactus8794 I think Toho had something to do with it. I'm not sure. Either way, the video is back, and i'm glad that it is. Have a great day, man.
I liked how this Goji really was represented as the sins of man unleashed on helpless citizens Ginza, especially that atomic breath. Also, the Godzillasaurus was fun to see. I wonder what Shigashima’s lady will go through with that thing on her neck.
Those black goo seems to be related to the G-cells mentioned in the past Heisei Godzilla movies. Making humans achieve super human feats. The G-Cells we're also the reason why some people can communicate with Godzilla later on.
The last atomic breath shot in the movie of Godzilla is one of the most impressive, with the blue and the fangs, really awesome. Favourite one shot in a movie since the King Ghidorah lightning charge in King of the Monsters.
That movie sucked the best one was 2014 everything after was a downgrade in sheer size showcase vibe and feel of the movie and personally I prefer the real original godzilla from minus one the one who's represents death and destruction not hollywoods super hero godzilla
excellent reference to the axlotol. it adds to how it really is possible for regeneration to occur even on the head. I love these breakdowns man keep it up
As I said in the previous video, I would love to se more about his “Godzillasaurus” pre-nuke form That 15 meters tall monster would fit very good in a Skull island video!!
Sadly, there isn't a ton from the movie to go on. It wasn't there for long and didn't deal with meaningful threats or gunfire. If the creature was introduced to the area it would not be there often. It is a deep sea creature with a large aquatic hunting ground. It would only occasionally surface when food in the water is momentarily scarce. Given the threats on the island, and its swimming abilities. The creature would not be trapped on the island and could easily swim to terrestrial feeding grounds that have little to no threats. It's territorial but seemingly not interested in eating humans. I suspect that this means the creature exclusively eats sea creatures and wanted to raid the supplies of the local fishermen. Not sure if any of the creatures associated with skull island have chosen the bottom of the sea as their primary habitat.
The cool thing is he could live on both Skull Islands. He would probably dominate the PJ island and carve out a niche for himself in the Monsterverse island as well. The only creatures that could pose a threat to it would be Kong or the Skull Crawlers. I think Kong will leave Godzillasaurus alone as long as he doesn't disrupt the balance and he could probably hold his own against the skull crawlers unless they gang up on him.
2017 kong would kill him straight away. Since godzillasaurus would be attacking the bisons and other innocent animals on that island. It would be very cool however-- if the 15m godzilla was in the 2005 skull island. All the v-rex and dinosaurs would stay clear of him and kong would be very cautious of him too...possibly throwing giant boulders at him from a distance to distact him.
I believe it will be both. Him returning to his full form, possibly with upgrades. The next part of the devastation will be the infected people. It will be a 2 front devastation of destruction on a massive scale. 😮
I didn’t get to see ‘Godzilla: Minus One’, but after watching this analysis video, I now realize how powerful and resilient this Godzilla was. But even his physical strength pales compared to his Atomic Heat Ray, which murked both Ginza and 2 different battleships. The fact that this Godzilla’s dorsal plates pop up from the tail to the neck when he’s powering up his Heat Ray simply confirms that he’s built differently from other Godzillas. I’d love to watch this movie if it’s available to stream. Good on you for making this video, GojiCenter! 👍🏻👍🏻
It is not really mentioned in the movie, but, even though it is a different story from the American version, I think the new design and changes throughout the film came to make reference to the Monsterverse's Godzilla appearance, and also, the size increase was explained on the Monarch: LoM series, remember, all was done with the permission and supervision of Toho, that's why everything seems to be related and has continuity.
I have noticed that with shin goji and now minus one. They seem to be pushing towards a human kaiju hybrid. I'm not sure when or how they'll get there, but there have been some big pushes with narrative showing goji's genetic material either being unstable or infectious and taking on other forms or merging with other creatures.
7:06 QUICK UPDATE TO ANYONE WATCHING : Godzilla in -0.1 was actually about to regenerate before the Barker tests and was actually Seriously burnt, in otherwords it was because of his regeneration ability Godzilla was able to Survive the Barker Nuclear Test, undergoing a full body mutation, Yamazaki actually said this out in an interview as well as it been in godzilla minus one novelization.
What shocked me was he was name dropped so soon and CASUALLY. Which means the people were USED to him showing up, causing issues, and leaving. Does Odo Island have a Godzilla Evacuation Cave? Do they catch the deep-sea fish and have a feast right before he shows up? How often does he visit? I have SO many questions.
Apparently according to the novel they actually worshipped Godzilla and would give him offerings of some kind in exchange for the fish he brought up, so he was chill with them.
Interesting that even the shortest Jaeger is taller than this Godzilla by approximately 120ft, yet even the heaviest Jaeger is still significantly lighter, clocking in around 6k tons
Jaegers are technically way heavier than Godzilla minus one. The designers just forgot about the square cube law when giving the weights to the jaegers.
@@adnanhussain5420the weights are actually pretty accurate for Jaegers surprisingly. Due to them being comparable to warships we have plenty of them to use as reference points. 250’ tall weighing 8,000-12,000 tons is pretty accurate. Something comparable would be a Virginia class submarine which is about 10,000 tons at 360’ long.
@@timber_wulf5775ships and subs are hollow, jaegers are mostly not. The boston dynamics robots scaled up to jaeger size are about 12,000 tons, so that would match pacific rim, but that is a rather lightly built robot without armor, I would say 20,000 tons would be more realistic.
Seeing this movie in the theater was probably one of my most memorable movie theater experiences. I knew this movie was going to be good but I wasn’t expecting it to be THIS good
This movie was intense and i loved every single aspect of the way they blended man vs nature and man vs himself (ptsd). I really really hope they continue THIS theme in future movies
how is he the most powerful? What did he show in power that was even impressive in terms of Godzilla-power? His atomic breath blew up a small city, that's not that impressive-- other iterations of Godzilla have destroyed multiple mountains+, asteroids, black holes, destroyed Satan and God, and even MonsterVerse Godzilla's atomic breath was so powerful it blew a hole straight through the center of the Earth. I honestly don't get all this hype for Minus One Godzilla, I just saw it yesterday and as a whole the movie wasn't as great as all of you fan boys are hyping it up to be. It was a good movie and relatively entertaining, but all this nonsense about him being the "most terrifying" or "most powerful" or "best Godzilla" is absolute hog-wash, as stated prior in my comment so many iterations of Godzilla have done better feats of strength and power, as well as be just as terrifying -- like IDW's Godzilla that fought Satan and God and defeated both of them, he was a true force of nature, real calamitous intent. Let's not forget about GMK Godzilla either, which Minus One seems to basically rip right off of but with a much better design.
@@hyattonwyattboys Okay first, he is referring to the movies, and cartoons not comic books (which are absurdly retarded). Drilling a hole to hollow earth requires a large amount of energy sure, but in terms of sheer destructive power to level cities and kill tens of thousands of people in less than a minute (and many thousands more from the same blast over months and years due to nuclear fallout) shows a far greater destructive power. Such comics are simply stupid, about as serious as SpongeBob's feats of power. Such cartoonish feats do not make Godzilla scary or "force of nature" anymore than Popeye's greatest feats. It's a well written story, with great characters. Godzilla is portrayed in a compelling way. It's not great if someone just wants a monster slugfest entirely dependant on spectacle, but that's not good cinema.
@@hyattonwyattboys wow, that's all really stupid. No surprise it comes from comics. Reminds me of the "mighty feats of power" pulled off by SpongeBob and Popeye. I imagine most people here have movies in mind, not comics that virtually nobody reads.
Nah that would go to burning Godzilla, final wars Godzilla, supercharged heisei Godzilla, Godzilla 2000,shin Godzilla, Godzilla earth. Minus one is just a redo of the original with heisei powers
he could only really stand a chance if he grows to 300 feet or more, otherwise he wouldn't last in a one on one fight with his current size. only other way he could fight at this state is if he shoots his atomic breath at a distance
He could definitely take on the smaller titans but the power gap against the larger titans like Godzilla and Ghidorah is just too vast to overcome at his current size.
What they did with this guy that was fantastic is they were able to make you feel hopeless about winning against Godzilla for almost the whole movie, I literally felt dread when Godzilla bit through the last option in order to kill him. Even when he got “killed” at the end of the movie, the end credits show that somehow he STILL made it out alive, this movie is awesome!
Minus One G would struggle pretty hard against Legendary G since he kinda… kinda feeds on nuclear weapons and Minusgoji has a nuclear weapon based atomic breath so all he would be doing is charging him and healing Legendary G
@@_xiryu_ would it though? Minus G’s blast is definitely a kiloton type bomb not a megaton type bomb which means it wouldn’t do anything to Legendary G besides aforementioned charging and healing. Not to mention Legendary G has also survived an asteroid strike with relative ease. He was also at operation crossroads which was a 21kt nuke which is likely the strength of Minus G’s breath
Literally every Godzilla except 1998 can tank attacks that make Megaton-bombs look like a candle. Minus One's atomic breath is barely in the kiloton range.
@@_______65656 But as the video pointed out, his cells might be able to infect other living organisms. Unconfirmed officially perhaps, but there’s no way that mark on Noriko’s neck and her quick recovery is not attributed to the G-cells.
7:13 So… apparently Godzilla’s regeneration ability was actually *weakened* by the bomb not gained. The Odo Island Godzilla had an INCREDIBLY powerful regeneration ability. This comes from the Japanese movie novelization. So… just food for thought and correcting the video
I think the dorsal plates on his back extend so he can store a lot of radioactive power then when they go in it releases the radioactive power out through the mouth in the form of a heat ray.
I feel even though it's atomic breath is insanely strong , it takes a huge amount of time to charge it . Imagining a battle against titan in its current form will not end with Godzilla in victory probably because another titan will probably take advantage of the time taken by Godzilla to charge up or simply wont let it charge up. If this gets a sequel , the movie makers will probably make him evolve and become stronger

@@shockwavegaming5907 "he is not actively growing"
The Size difference between odo Island and the rest of the movie is enormous.

Exactly they gone setup the freeze ray from the 50s and 60s Godzilla Mothra gone pop up this universe is great
The intresting thing about minus one is that according to the novelization of the movie he actually had regen BEFORE being mutated. So his incredible regeneration is not a mutation but rather a NATURAL trait his kind posseses. Said regeneration being so fast and potent it could outperform the nuke as it healed him fast enough to stave off the heat and blast of the bomb.

That was fucking epic, first time we’ve ever seen something like that from Godzilla, that scene was just astonishing!

Loved everything about this movie except that part was too transformer for me.
Not even Monsterverse Godzilla ever seen such epic moments like that before
It was also recently confirmed by the director that the Godzilla we see after operation crossroads was more burn scars than scales.
Godzilla was always able to regenerate (even in its pre-radiates state) but because Godzilla was left in a mess after the explosion, it’s regeneration went out of control and caused him to grow into the size we saw later.
The radiation did nothing to his regeneration ability.

Also nuke serves a sort of food/drug to them because Godzilla needs nukes to do the atomic breath
The kamikaze pilot's apparent cowardice shows up eventually as the good judgment not to throw his life away. When he gets a plane with an ejector seat, he shows himself equal to the challenge.

Wow.... Honestly, this version of Godzilla did give me chills
Shin Godzilla also had a Noriko-esque cliffhanger.... I really hope they don't abandon this like they did that.
If a sequel is made, it will get all of my money. I’d love if these characters and this Godzilla continued forward.
I think he could have killed Godzilla in the beginning. That's why it haunts him the way it does - he knows if he had killed it when it was weaker, it would have stopped the devastation.
Yep. It's a good thing he didn't, right? For all of us at least.

@@miguelmachado6988 Like a mix of Heisei and Legendary in my opinion. But yeah! Awesome movie!
That’s because it is
Actually if you look closely at Shikashima's gun reticle, when Godzilla's head was near, his guns weren't lined up and would actually have fired just under Godzilla's Jaw.

That 15 meters tall monster would fit very good in a Skull island video!!
@@masterkc Kong wouldn't kill him because he just eats fish and wouldn't bother attacking Kong or moving to the inner island.

Minus one is truly the most Terrifying and powerful incarnation of Godzilla.
In terms of raw destructive power?
Yes, but who would win in a close up physical confrontation is another matter.
how is he the most powerful?

Nah it's not like shin's body because he doesn't have that adaptability evolution like shin has

But as the video pointed out, his cells might be able to infect other living organisms. Unconfirmed officially perhaps, but there’s no way that mark on Noriko’s neck and her quick recovery is not attributed to the G-cells.

When he attached the city he picked up a bus and threw it back down
Ok that pressure idea is actually super creative
7:13 So… apparently Godzilla’s regeneration ability was actually *weakened* by the bomb not gained. The Odo Island Godzilla had an INCREDIBLY powerful regeneration ability. This comes from the Japanese movie novelization. So… just food for thought and correcting the video
So shooting at him would have done nothing since his weakened regeneration can come back from practically nothing
@@ReadThisIfYourG3y as strong as the Type 5 20mm cannon was it wouldn’t have done anything even without Godzilla having the regeneration ability
I think the dorsal plates on his back extend so he can store a lot of radioactive power then when they go in it releases the radioactive power out through the mouth in the form of a heat ray.
For anyone that hasnt seen this movie please go watch it its freaking amazing
I feel even though it's atomic breath is insanely strong , it takes a huge amount of time to charge it . Imagining a battle against titan in its current form will not end with Godzilla in victory probably because another titan will probably take advantage of the time taken by Godzilla to charge up or simply wont let it charge up.
If this gets a sequel , the movie makers will probably make him evolve and become stronger
