A real spud wrench is more like an adjustable wrench with a pointed end for aligning bolt holes in ironwork. Also, a thin flashing line doesn’t not automatically mean it’s a casting, it’s just tighter tolerance higher quality dies. I’d almost guarantee those are forged. Why would rigid cast these and forge the almost identical forged pipe wrenches...?
That was my understanding, but ridgid officially calls these spuds. Milwaukee calls them smooth jaw pipe wrench but I've heard them called monkey wrenches. My grandpa had several from when nuts and bolt were primarily square instead of hex.
Not what I expected to see; not what I used in iron work.
If you can't stab a bolt hole with the handle it's not a spud wrench, it's just a monkey wrench.

Why would ridgid use a tighter tolerance and dies for a spud wrench?
It's less than accurate marketing, the jaws are forged but the handle is cast

Like you said, they're not ideal for hex nuts but Ridgid makes a similar wrench called a hex wrench for that purpose.
If you could do a weekly update on that screwdriver and how is doing, maybe things you have tried doing with it.. I would really appreciate it.
I was wondering what was the advantage of this wrench over the Ridgid hex wrench?
The screwdriver looks like it came out of an automotive tool kit that would come with a new car... European maybe 1960's / 70's
Use the wire wheel and the bla k abrasive wheel on a drill to take the rust off can you make that new video
You must have tons of tools! 😄
