- This is the ultra-rare, brand new Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale that is paying tribute to one of the most beautiful cars ever made.
The original 33 Stradale was built in 1967, and only 33 of these modern-day versions are going to be created. Each one is already sold and are rumored to cost $2-3 million.
Alex travelled to Milan to take a look at one of the models, alongside some of the most iconic cars that Alfa Romeo have ever created.

SO quiet it needs a blasting sound system, really.
Its refreshing to see designs that are not mimicking what other manufacturers are doing. As an example, porsche designers are still asleep and never seem to care. How does Alfa do it? Their cars are unique in their design language. Each model looks so different to the next and not just an upscale off the smaller cars. Bravo Alfa Romeo. Bring back the gtv, brera

Those toggel switches are truly 60's. Finally a Super Car that looks like a real sports car. Form and Color are fabulous.

this is a far better recreation than the new countach, the car is stunning and keeps elements of the original but clearly modernizes it
which is EXACTLY what Lambo did with the new Countach as well so...what was your comment again?
@@88boat im not saying the new countach is bad but lets be real here it feels way more reserved than its original counterpart, and the biggest thing with the countach was just how insane and different it looked
@@lolickypeepee23xdd6 I would agree but I think the problem it 'feels reserved' is because cars like the ApolloIE, Divo, Sian, Jesko, Veneno, Paganis, Senna just casually exist which is hard to top them...i mean, have you seen the Apollo Evo? The only car I can think of to come close to it's wild design is the Lambo Terzo Millenio, otherwise everything else is LITERALLY basic. With such cars being the portfolio of other brands, clearly the Countach will appear 'reserved'. But definitely the Countach by itself is a proper recreation, I'd say it's just missing a wing!

@@steelwind2334 not today. If you look at US "issues per 100 cars sold" ratings for 2022 and 2023 Alfa Romeo is in top 3 most reliable car brands. All that stereotypes about unreliable Alfa come from early 2000s when 146 and 156 models came out. Even Giulietta model was ok compared with other European compact hatchs and modern Giulia nd Stelvio are really good.

@@steelwind2334 Perhaps there's some truth to the reliability issues of some of the cars Alfa made, however, Alfa has been in automotive car making for 113 years and the world of racing since the early days. It also has produced the best luxury car designs ever. So your sounds bitter for no reason.
Remains to this day the most beautiful car I have ever seen; such an exquisite blend of both masculine and feminine features.
Not ashamed to admit, I teared up when I first saw the original 33 stradale in the Alfa Museum.

Design perfection, sadly we won't be able to appreciate it anywhere but on the Alfa promos, as they're so limited and the buyers will most likely just hold them hostage in their garages

This car is fully based on the Maserati MC20, same engine, same suspension, same carbon fiber structure, but with Alfa design and costing 10 x more. It really looks stunning
Hello, you have to know that it should actually have been the other way around, Alfa Romeo wanted to present this model before the MC20 and the MC20 is actually based on this Alfa 33 but the costs exceeded Alfa Romeo's budget so it was handed over to Maserati. I know that unfortunately many people don't know it, but you can find many articles about this topic on Google

@@davideloi9176 I don't know that because I don't play in this league, but I do know that this car, like many other models from Alfa Romeo or other brands, is bought and then put into a collection and waited until the value increases and is never driven again.

The EV doesn't do the original any justice. The sound of the original Tipo 33 was mind-blowing. Each to their own, but I'm a child of the 60's that watched these cars racing in period & they have not lost their appeal to me.

Engine, Transmission, and Performance
The 33 Stradale shared many of its mechanical parts with the Maserati MC20 sports car. Like the mid-engined Maserati, the gas-powered 33 Stradale relies on a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V-6 for motivation. Alfa claims output of more than 620 horses. An eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission is standard here, as is rear-wheel drive. If you want, Alfa Romeo will sell you an electric variant with more than 750 horsepower and a battery big enough to drive 240 miles per charge. Whatever happens, the 33 Stradale is quick enough to reach 60 mph in less than 3.0 seconds, according to Alfa. We believe it. Top speed is claimed to be 207 mph
