Welcome to our cozy cottage house while we share the art of a cozy quiet life and how we incorporate hygge and slow living into our every day. We are reading books, making sushi in the kitchen, watering plants, keeping warm by the fire, and having a cozy tea time as a family. Living a cozy quiet life is an art, but it's so easy if we take a moment to really just take the time to slow down.
I feel that the art of a cozy quiet life has so many elements, but most of all it's a life of contentment being happy in the now. I love this quote -

Slow living isn’t a trend for me it's a lifestyle I have embraced for years, I really learned it from my mom and grandma. We always just took our time to enjoy the beauty of every day. I’m a romantic at heart, with a very practical lifestyle approach “ keep it simple”. I grew up on a farm and I think that furthered my love of simplicity and back to the basics mindset.

We moved six months ago to our cozy cottage, and we are in the process of fixing it up. I strive to make our home cozy and inviting no matter what stage of remodeling we are in. Making a home hygge and cozy is just a normal way of life for me and I can’t imagine it any other way.

What a wonderful video. Wherever you are Thrift Store prices are amazing. In my neck of the woods the things are more junky and the prices are not that good. I have my mother’s Steeple clock that she received as a wedding present but yours is really beautiful. Here’s is plainer.
