Welcome, to our cottage house. Today’s video is all about the homemade life, and slow living Valentine’s day. In our cottage kitchen today, we are making blueberry pie, and homemade valentines. And telling the story of my Grandma’s Valentine gift to me as a child.
Slow living isn’t a trend for me its a lifestyle I have embraced for years, I really learned it from my mom and grandma. We always just took our time to enjoy the beauty of everyday. I’m a romantic at heart, with a very practical lifestyle approach “ keep it simple”. I grew up on a farm and I think that furthered my love of simplicity and back to the basics mindset.
We moved six months ago to our cozy cottage, and we are in the process of fixing it up. I strive to make our home cozy and inviting no matter what stage of remodeling we are in. Making a home hygge and cozy is just a normal way of life for me and I can’t imagine it any other way.

Loved this! I'm now 78 and my husband adult onset diabetic, so the sweets have pretty much gone by the wayside, but this took me back to doing these lovely things for my family....thanks for the memories even of handling the dough and creating something yummy for our families

A slow and simple life. It's what my husband and I strive for. During the cold months of the year we use our wood cook stove for cooking/baking. Our evenings are spent by lamplight. We both have a strong love for days of old. The love of family and a simple life. Thank you for sharing! Blessings! 💞

What brand of blender do you use it looks very nice when your daughter washing it I have a kitchen aid but it doesn't do good job plus it's old
I use a vitamix. They are a bit of money, but I’ve had mine for ten years and it does everything. I’m going to add an Amazon shop soon with links to what I use in my home, kitchen, and garden 🪴
