It's a great looking car and it seems to be difficult to get a handle on. But, it gives the viewer a good idea about deciding to buy a drift car or not.
They did a nice job on it. I’ve been driving it since I made the video and I’m getting better at it. I felt it was more beneficial though to show my very first laps with it so people know what to expect.
Great video I got used mst Rmx 2.0 rtr stock too. I took it drift track and everyone told I had to upgrade parts 🤣 I’m like tf. why did I even get rtr… plans for are futaba 3pv remote, Hobbywing xr10 10.5 motor/esc, reved rsst servo, futaba gyro gyd450. 😏 thats like another $500 & That just entry level stuff 😳. Didn’t realize drifting was expensive and people take it really seriously. Now maybe I can keep up with the experts at the drift track 🤣. I hope u do drift build. 👍 oh yea and don’t forget tires for each surface and shock upgrades. 😆
Welcome to the addiction! 🤣🤙🏼 like the track layout! What are the dimensions? Looks like the gyro gain might be a little too high or something. Look forward to more drifting!!
I have the s15 . But your gyro looks diff. But it should have curve settings. That adjusted with the sensitivity Will help smooth the counter steering . Mine smoothed out the twitching effect. And once you get used to it you'll see you don't need alot of steering input .
the best start as you did, MST are high end for drift. In my case i use for drifting Traxxas 4Tec 2.0, the speed help to do the power slide more that 50 mph
Love the start of the basement setup! Came across your video while looking into this RC car as I have the same widebody brz in real life and was thinking about picking this up to take to shows/car meets. How do you think it'd fair on asphalt? I suppose I'd probably have to pick up a few sets of extra wheels but would probably mostly drive it around tamely on rough surfaces. Thanks for any info!
Hold the angle..always throttle on.Trick is you catch traction if you slow down, and slide when throttling up.Never use”brake”to engage slides like you would in real life.
I got a Yokomo basic 4wd drift car kit. Not sure if they make the kit anymore. The kit does not include very much. No electrics, no body. I put a Tamiya "Z" body on mine. Thoughts?
I have a rc car worth 3 dollars and some other amount in my region, from a store, very light, rear wheel drive, very well powered, and direct turning proportions
Hi RC driver online! I'm subscribed for quite a while now and I watch all of your videos. You make amazing content! For a better drifting experience when you start it's the best to try to shift some weight to the back, like the esc and/ or the servo. that way the car flics around the corners mutch better. You can also place the motor at a higher posistion. That way the car is going to lean more to 1 side and corner mutch better. On the Amain hobbies yt account they show how to do that in a series. Awesome video again!
Not even 2 minutes in.... we're talking about upgrades. Lots of us wanna get started - and - already have RC gear. So rather then a RTR where is a good place to start with a kit?
I know im late but what battery and charger is recommended for this setup? Im brand new to this and was looking for something that will have decent run time and enough power for this. I saw somewhere that 100c batteries are good for these but i dont know which ones to choose
Hey man, new subscriber here. loving your channel .Qick question I'm trying to decide between the big rock or the granite from Arrma .what is a better truck overall, suspension longevity ,motor ,durability just best Bang for the buck ,Thanks man
How’s it coming along? Your track isn’t too small in my opinion, it might be just a tad fast and complicated. figure 8 tracks gets you going a little easier :)
I've driven real drift cars for several years now and want to get into rc drift. Would I shop for an rc in the same fashion I shop for a drift missile project?
Hey my friend nice track for maybe 1/14 scale it's to small for a 1/10 scale car but good job or even better 1/18 scale would be key, thanks your friendly neighborhood Doorman william from NYC forgettaboutit 👊 😀
Dude what are you talking about?! Your track setup is supra rad! It’s perfect for a basement setup! It would be a perfect 1:24 or 1:18 drift track too! I’m totally green jello right now over it! I’m thinking of adding this RTR to my RC drift collection because i have a guy that prints parts for these! You can have all wheel servos and a 6 chan radio to lift and drop these like air bags on a car. I have a bunch of high end RC street, track and drift stuff but he only sells these part options for this car. Thanks for the content, and i absolutely love your basement track and collection! I’m gonna sub, but for hobbie sakes please sub in return, maybe we can do some trades in the future, for parts, cars,or even custom work. Thanks! Ultra
It still messes with me that people who drift only rwd rc give so much hate the awd drift comunity yet they use a gyro... Awd powerslide purley controlled by the operator or a computer controlled burnout?? Im only on this video because im wanting to learn about to rwd life, but the more i learn the more im confused bout this awd hate
I don’t understand the hate either. RWD evolved from AWD. There’s always a few that rock the boat. But for the most part I think people in this segment are happy it grows in any fashion.
Welcome to the dark side!!! :) I help a lot of folks get started in drifting. Feel free to reach out via messenger if you want some tips. You did at least one of the most common mistakes when folks get into drifting! I have a whole video on that. :)
great car its my drifter to but if you can i would recoment turn buckles and the gearbox of the rmx mst 2.0 il post the link here www.driftparadiz.fr/en/collections/differentiels/products/set-cage-differentiel-a-pignon-rouge-rmx-rrx-mst-copy this is a french site i coulnd find in on amain sorry als would recomend a diffrent radio and servo gyro combo then you will really get going but just enjoy thats the most importand
Hey great work it takes a while to get used to it but you’ll get there!!! Ps thanks for the shout out 🥳
Love this kit and the bodies they have
Hats off to you.. doubt if I would have been able to get a single lap complete!!! Cool car choice.
Great platform to start with for sure, love the track you made 👍🏼
Awesome job on the Track. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁. Love the content 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
You did good for a beginner...nothing wrong with learning!👍🏁
Ooppl
Nice drift of 86 👍 Cool 😆 Friends🤩🎶🤝
GR is the 2nd generation of this car, ('22+), what you have is a Rocket Bunny GT86! Awesome video
You looked pretty darn good especially for the first time 👍
Awesome and very cool. I have two Tamiya TT02 drift cars. I need to kick out the airhockey and basketball hoops to make a track. Man, that is cool.
Great Video.👍 Looking forward to seeing more drifting from you...💯💯💯
Thanks Greg
Drifting isn't my thing (yet) but I can see the challenge in driving. Like button selected
Awesome vid and love the track looks great man.. never had a go with an RC drifter looks fun 🤩👍🚴
Probably the best ready to run setup out there. Perfect for a beginner.
awesome look drift track! 👏🏽

cool rc and review
Hope to see more drifting and maybe even a drift build series as you mod it.
Greg, love your videos.Your new track would be awesome for a Kyosho mini-z awd, or rwd. Thanks for all the great videos.
Welcome to the addiction! 🤣🤙🏼 like the track layout! What are the dimensions? Looks like the gyro gain might be a little too high or something. Look forward to more drifting!!
For the beginners. Just start with circles both ways nd then making the number 8. Then go try other things and after that go to a track
Nice job on your track!!
So much fun, love this kit. You have to rely on the gyro more
Rice Car Driver! Not only can you make a drift track but you can make a golf simulator down there!!! #Goals
I have the s15 . But your gyro looks diff. But it should have curve settings. That adjusted with the sensitivity Will help smooth the counter steering . Mine smoothed out the twitching effect. And once you get used to it you'll see you don't need alot of steering input .
super nice rig and the track is cool :D
the best start as you did, MST are high end for drift. In my case i use for drifting Traxxas 4Tec 2.0, the speed help to do the power slide more that 50 mph
drifting is wonderful

I respect the rwd drift cars for authenticity reasons, but I still love playing with 4wd and baked abs tube wheels.
I may, or may not have purchased a drift car as well. Won't confirm or deny.
I think u should make the track a figure 8 . So u can practice donuts
Oh hey look u got the gt86 with the pandem body kit
i managed to get mine with the mark 5 supra kit
Would your recommend this or a tt-02d with a 200dollar rwd conversion kit?
Great track
Hold the angle..always throttle on.Trick is you catch traction if you slow down, and slide when throttling up.Never use”brake”to engage slides like you would in real life.
Can you share what you used for the track barriers?
I got a Yokomo basic 4wd drift car kit. Not sure if they make the kit anymore. The kit does not include very much. No electrics, no body. I put a Tamiya "Z" body on mine. Thoughts?

How big is your drift track 15’x15’ or so? And how wide is your driving lane
Pretty good drift rtr to start with, good choice🤙 and btw thats a sick little drift track you have there. Were are you located?
Hey man, new subscriber here. loving your channel .Qick question I'm trying to decide between the big rock or the granite from Arrma .what is a better truck overall, suspension longevity ,motor ,durability just best Bang for the buck ,Thanks man
Nice! 👍🏻

Looks fun, any tips/tutorials on your track set up?
that is so sick. I am going to get one of those! Do u know if this battery is compatible with the car? Thnx:)
Just pre ordered the 2.5
how long did it take to get when you pre ordered
@@dylan550i still waiting
cool to see some drifting
there is a track near but 1h30 drive is not accessible enough to buy a drift car
Thinking of getting one.. Can I run 3s?
could you make a tutorial on how to build a budget drift car for beginners?
I’m new to drift I’m getting there slowly having problems with the magnetic body mounts but I think ima go back to stock mounting honestly.
Hmm, just bought the 2.5 and I have the magnetic mount ordered. Maybe not a good idea?
Why can’t you find these in stock anywhere?
Thank you always for the fun videos.I am Korean. ^0^ 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍
Can you put regular tires on a mst rmx 2.0 and use it to drive regularly, not drift?
yeah, rubber tires do the job.
is this car only for drifting or can you just drive around with it as well ? also how fast can it go ?
I've driven real drift cars for several years now and want to get into rc drift. Would I shop for an rc in the same fashion I shop for a drift missile project?
Is the motor brushless?
Nice but going to be difficult to really drift on that small of a track.
So mine out of the box is hitting the front lower arms at full steering lock how can I fix that or has anyone else had this issue
does that stand for gt86 Rocked Bunny it might
You would be better off with blue painters tape, that track is way to tight for a novice but I get it, it's all for the tube
sir why is price for one car
These are around 389$ plus taxes at my hobby shop
Nice
🔵🔵🔵👍👍👍🙂🙂🙂🔵🔵🔵
Damn the price is stupidly expensive tho😭
how much is it?
What size is ur drift track
Hey my friend nice track for maybe 1/14 scale it's to small for a 1/10 scale car but good job or even better 1/18 scale would be key, thanks your friendly neighborhood Doorman william from NYC forgettaboutit 👊 😀

Make another video and give the car look better with a new body tires en accessoires

What's that? Buy a drift car first before finding out there are no tracks in your area 😆
