Charlotte Nilsson is a brilliant artist, just as Agnetha is. As we English say, _comparisons are odious_ and each artist should be considered on her own merits. Just enjoy this touching and beautiful end-of-love song, one of Abba's best IMHO.
Yes and most so-called artists don't HAVE any. Point is, ABBA did the original and Agnetha (one of the best singers ever and one part of one of the best bands ever) sang it, co comparisons are not so much odious as virtually pointless as no one is going to better an ABBA original, that's just a stupid suppository, nor is anyone going to MATCH it, and if they did, it would be someone from the best music decade there ever was-the 80s-and not from someone now, and even then they could go only do it competently at best, but no. You don't match nor better a legend, anyone thinking so is dumb. Now with the Beatles, covers of their songs HAVE bettered their versions, but I'm no Beatles fan anyway, and happy about it!
Excellent rendition of a truly superb song. However, there is something sublime about a Swedish lady singing in English that makes the ABBA version so special. The same could be said about many of their songs which added a unique charm.
I loved that she hit all the notes of ABBA. Of course voice cannot be the same but she is the only singer till now who hit the notes and respected the style of ABBA. Thank you!

That's because it's not in this singer's natural register. This singer is an alto or at best a second soprano. Put a natural soprano up there and she'll nail that note.

The note at 2:04 is super hard to get. When Agnetha sang it, it sounded totally natural, although the note is actually quite hard to reach....

Charlotte is from Sweden. She won the Eurovision a few years back. Fantastic singer. Her version of What a Feeling is epic.
