I have lived my whole life having my parents use every little piece of information they have about me weaponized against me at some point or another. Even things that were good, for example my dad started seeing me grow love for reading books, he'd try to take them away when he thought i was doing bad things. I borrowed a tablet from my mom for a trip, come find out who knows how many months later she was logging into my fb messenger reading my conversations. Now at 25, theyre still trying to find things out, so they can later hold against me. This has developed so many issues in me. And the worst part if that they are your family, and they hide behind a "i care for you im your parent" facade. This isnt love, this is so poisonous. H. R can help and you taking that step to report it helps you and your Co workers have a better work environment because they will know that if they are asked inappropriate questions they have power to stop it. Ask him or her point blank how a certain question that feels off has to do with work. If they get visibly annoyed, angry or flustered then you have caught them
I can relate. I remember back in 2010, my boss at the time had the NERVE to ask me after I mentioned that I had no children during our conversation:" But CAN you have children?" Seriously? What difference does it make at the end of the day? You are my boss, NOT my boyfriend, you horse's ass! Very rude, disrespectful, and sexist! Btw, this stupid man ended up gossiping about me to everyone. I even caught him once. Recently whilst coming home from work, “Mr Valantine how much do you earn a year?” When I ask him the same question he stutters and hesitates, like he was saying “none of your business” (NOYB). And he known my name because of an Amazon driver dropped an order off at his place which required signature. Still don’t know his name, never asked because unlike him I mind my own business.

Nosy neighbours can be very manipulative and charming and their How Are you can mean they want to engage you and get more nosy info so they can tell everyone else and use that info against you. They will exploit you too. If you are a women they will try to use you to get more info as you may be more chatty. My neighbours are always wanting more property. Today I pretended not to hear them when they said How Are You through the hedge which is unciviised anyway. Dont engage unless you have to. I think they are very isolated in lockdown and this means they want to be even more nosy. I keep a record of how little I engage with them to make sure I keep a distance as much as I can and don't give info I have had to stop going in my front garden as the neighbours seem to think that means I want to talk to them but I don't '#england

lived with my cousin in NJ for a while , she was so nosy not out of jealousy but she was so ambitious that when things started falling apart for her (-$100000 student loan debt) she needed a way to feel better about herself so she starded hating on me and invading my privacy she got very intrusive to the point where i had to change the lock on my door .

I have a cousin like this. When i see her calling, i don't feel comfortable talking to her because her life is always about negativity and wretched behavior. Victoria Campbell Even then you can tell based on what the question is, if it's not pertaining to your work then you don't have to answer, and there must be guidelines against what sounds to me like borderline Harassment and you don't have to take it. H. R can help and you taking that step to report it helps you and your Co workers have a better work environment because they will know that if they are asked inappropriate questions they have power to stop it. Ask him or her point blank how a certain question that feels off has to do with work. If they get visibly annoyed, angry or flustered then you have caught them

I can relate. I remember back in 2010, my boss at the time had the NERVE to ask me after I mentioned that I had no children during our conversation:" But CAN you have children?" Seriously? What difference does it make at the end of the day? You are my boss, NOT my boyfriend, you horse's ass! Very rude, disrespectful, and sexist! Btw, this stupid man ended up gossiping about me to everyone. I even caught him once. I only stayed for the time I did, because I very much needed the money, plus, I was well-liked by most of the co-workers, but eventually, I got fed up, and left. I never looked back. I now work for myself.
Being nosey gets you killed
My neighbour just would not shut up about asking me questions. Recently whilst coming home from work, “Mr Valantine how much do you earn a year?” When I ask him the same question he stutters and hesitates, like he was saying “none of your business” (NOYB). And he known my name because of an Amazon driver dropped an order off at his place which required signature. Still don’t know his name, never asked because unlike him I mind my own business.
If you wouldn’t answer a question yourself you shouldn’t ask it lol
Amen, I strongly agree. They become miserable when they are told this shit. They feel entitled to be in whatever is going on in your life. They get easily offend when they are told this crap so just like little jr high school kids do who love to cause conflict and gossip and meddle they then start talking bad about you with there toxic followers so they too can change from I was only trying to help or just asking out of concern to let talk shit and cut the person in whom they now cant understand like they dumb when it comes to minding your own business with harsh slanderous words. My best response is to take it like it is this is which they are and they cant help it it's in there DNA therefore walk away. I'm almost sure you will find out there whole family is into doing the bullshit and they believe in there own sick minds that they are doing good and all the chaos they have and will cause is nothing serious. Bless they l I'll title petty nosy hearts and learn from them what not to do and go on about your life. I'm speaking from experience myself and trust me they are very aware of the bullshit they are doing and how toxic they are and they dont give two fucks. Nor do they want to change because for some odd reason they feed off of drama, and conflict, and mlm meddling in other people's affairs as if it's oxygen.

I know this was put up some years ago...but i knew someone who was nosey..she didn't like her own home life, so she stuck her nose into everybody's business... then she would tell others and gossip about you...she always moaned about her life, but she wasn't at all happy that others had a happy life... she tried to latch onto me but i had to distance myself...she has a younger sister who is exactly the same...thanks for your videos 🥰🥰

You are so right because I have family members who don't know how to mind their own business and when you are telling them or when you confront them about being to nosy all of a sudden they want to get mad 😡 or upset you you confront them about what they was being nosy about that is why people are being killed and beat up because they don't know how to stop putting their nose where is does not belong.

Nosy neighbours can be very manipulative and charming and their How Are you can mean they want to engage you and get more nosy info so they can tell everyone else and use that info against you. They will exploit you too. If you are a women they will try to use you to get more info as you may be more chatty. My neighbours are always wanting more property. Today I pretended not to hear them when they said How Are You through the hedge which is unciviised anyway. Dont engage unless you have to. I think they are very isolated in lockdown and this means they want to be even more nosy. I keep a record of how little I engage with them to make sure I keep a distance as much as I can and don't give info I have had to stop going in my front garden as the neighbours seem to think that means I want to talk to them but I don't '#england

lived with my cousin in NJ for a while , she was so nosy not out of jealousy but she was so ambitious that when things started falling apart for her (-$100000 student loan debt) she needed a way to feel better about herself so she starded hating on me and invading my privacy she got very intrusive to the point where i had to change the lock on my door .

I have a cousin like this. When i see her calling, i don't feel comfortable talking to her because her life is always about negativity and wretched behavior. I pray for her but i don't say anything about my life to her. I usually say all is well and God is good to my small immediate family. She wants to hear dirt but i cut the conversation off quick. Life is about building up people to be better not hindering or knocking them down.

People have never referred to me as nosy and the last time someone got upset about a question, I asked them was when I was a child.
