📌 THE SPINNER I'm using is my own design and creation. Every single work step is done by my hands and my table saw (operated by me)
I sell these on my homepage and if you want to up your game and create on big canvases, you seriously should check it out!
DISCLAIMER: It's a tool for serious artists, I always recommend getting a small , cheaper spinner to try if spinning is your thing first. After you've tried other versions, I promise you'll appreciate this guy over all of them if you work with big heavy canvasses and you spin all the time, like me.

Valspar Ultra Base C
and Behr Dynasty deep base to thicken
📌 My old POURING MEDIUM (should still work !)

Behr Dynasty deep base semi-gloss and minwax polycrylic (roughly 3:1) from Home depot
And thinning to the right consistency with JoSonja gloss varnish (Dick blick, jerrys artsarama or Fluidart.co)

📌 The magic juice/Cell activator is mixed with australian floetrol. (1:1)

I really like when you do small pieces like this 11 by 14 especially for those who want to learn like me it's so much easier to learn going small then starting off big like a 16 by 20. We all love your style. What a difficult technique though. It’s soooo frustrating with all the consistencies and different base/pillow paint, and pouring mediums. I wonder if you got those golds mixed up🤔

Good explanation re why less pillow paint. I'm finding that with deconstructed landscape too.
I think it's true to any technique that uses a base coat. But it's easy to say for me because I have no clue about other techniques
Another stunning piece, Jessica! I have tried this technique, but for the life of me I cannot get the paint to flow off the spreader in a uniform way. It comes off in a stream no matter how wide I apply the paint to the spreader. And of course, if you can’t at least get the top layer applied evenly, it just won’t work. Any words of wisdom for me?
Use a lot of paint, it'll flow better because of its weight and gravity. You don't have to use it all, but it helps a ton
