When Indya said “Everything we create for ourselves, they try to take from us,” I felt that.
Especially the gay lingo. See a lot of straight people who hates gays using our phrases
I’m straight as an arrow, but love the trans and gay community; the contribution by this community on culture and society is immense; as any oppressed group you have to kick the door off the hinges and takes what’s yours and it is now the lgbtq time, just sad so many of the Trail Blazers are not alive to see how far the community has come.
Haile Sahar reminds me a bit of Eva Longoria when the camera captures her sideways!
@@bobbyfitzgerald4165 , okayyyy. That word.
It gets appropriated
As a heterosexual man I think this show is fire it Introduced me to a world I didn't know existed, I just came across the first season on Netflix watched the first episode because I thought it was about Grace Jones but when the young dude pops put him out and his mom ga e him his bag that shit hurt my heart
It happens to so many of us, you wouldn’t believe it. Thank you for opening your heart to experiences you don’t relate to!
@@SamAdamsDesigns may life be great for you.
Same here, love the show man and the history. Need more shows like this, my pops was extremely anti gay, he started watching this show as has done a full 180 and has even lamented how ignorant he was; that is the power of media and representation.
I saw it and would skip over it..one night I watched binged on netflix and is current... great experience and awareness..how can someone reject their flesh was heartwrenching. I was happy to know those houses exist where love support is given
I love this show
Indya is really a natural-born speaker, she was made for the mic😂👏🗣
Sammy Pasa Indya uses they/them pronouns
She is beautiful, I adore her.

@@yellowdiamond3931 you're right; I am so sorry:(
Hailie’s voice is almost like Janet Jackson. So soft spoken.
She has such poise as well.
I can't hear shit she's saying
After watching POSE (I am 79), I find it difficult to understand how any of the wonderful actors in this series would not be sought after world wide for beauty ads, fashion models and absolute talent across the board. All of you are CLASS ACTS! I loved it, and the story line was wonderful! More, more, more! I love Billy! I love you ALL!
Indya was a model before she got into acting.
WHERE IS DOMINIQUE?!? *Flips table*
the way halie sahar speaks in so soothing and articulate . i love it !!! she's my fav
Mei -mei what’s your name ?
Dyllon Burnside and Angel Bismark Curiel are both fine as hell.
Bobby Fitzgerald indeed! Janet Mock is a lucky girl! 😂❤️
@The Nightly Sinz we can share him lol
The Fire this time!!!......this show right here......has given me complete life. As a 59 yo black gay male the timeline of this show from beginning to the end of this season was my generations story. I am so DAMN proud of these fearless young creatives it also gives me HOPE to bring the the respect of humanity of our experiences right squarely into the center of the black communities consciousness.
I applaud you! ❤❤❤🙌👏
Who watched this after the season finale? This show is great and as a young black women I learned alot on this show. #POSE
I did..im not soo young😂😂me to learnt alot...My fav character is Pray Tell
Indya’s binaries cause violence explanation was amazing! I needed to hear that in the way they explained it!
yes i loved the way that was put
I love how i feel like I'm watching the characters . they are so true to their roles.
MJ Rodriquez is so sweet! As is Dominique Jackson (I wish she had been there too). 💗
Candy is the sweetest!
Indya is kind of insane but also genius.
Can we just give a huge shoutout to Jayce Baron for moderating this conversation so well?? He struck a beautiful balance between making space for each panelist and their own perspectives, while still keeping everyone in the room engaged in the conversation and focused on the subject matter at hand
Thank you 🙏🏽
@Tammy Crawforc Thank you Tammy!
I loved Jayce Baron on this interview.
not only they are good actors but they are also amazing speakers
Every time Indya went to speak I was like gurl let other people have a go but then they said such profound and important things that I was like go on gurl 😂😂👏🏿👏🏿 but let’s just be a little more time conscious in other interviews going forward sis. Love the cast everyone looked so stunning in this
Spencer Read Indya uses they/them pronouns
Words right out of my mouth. They have so many important things to say but they have to realize that so do others as well. I think it really through the man hosting off from the start and he was struggling. But he picked it up and realize he just had to cut them off lol.
She has a lot to share with the world and I am glad she did , she's a natural healer
Indya for President 🙏🏽💜
I just finished watching season 2. It’s truly one of the BEST shows ever made. And i dont say that lightly. It’s truly a masterpiece and I’m so happy that I had the honor of watching it.
The Blanca in MJ jumped out when she told the dark skinned guy to never give up. 🥺❤️
To be able to have a show with not only a talented cast, but an intelligent, well-spoken one? We truly are blessed, fam 👏🏼
After the season finale. this is a blessing to have been in my recommended list This show is an inspiration and a message to everyone out there that love and family comes in many form.
It's cool to hear them repping Noah's Arc in interviews. That show was ahead of its time in a lot of ways.
POSE IS EVERYTHING ‼️
Ms. Haille looks like pure fish, pure woman, amazing...so feninine.
mj is such a lovely person i love hearing her talk to people she seems so genuinely nice
sometimes, when i hear indya moore speak, i just have to take a moment and step back. people always view their ideas as radical but in reality they should never be considered radical. indya is such a beautiful soul, and i can't wait to see them in season three.
Angel really takin half the couch and leaving Dyllon a sliver to sit on i can't with him 😂😂
I literally just finished an episode cause I started watching Pose and it's truly such an amazing show
Ricky looking like a young professional
Papi looking like a whole meal
Indya looks beyond gorgeous as usual
Hailee is BEAUTIFUL and her voice is so sweet
MJ is so warm and motherly
Love them all 😭😭😭😭😭
Omg I loved Noah's Ark woohoo much!!!! I'm so glad to hear other people loved it to. That show was ahead of its time. Miss that show😢
MissMonicaSilvia i loved that show! 😍😍😍
Both seasons and the movie are on RUclips
@Jay Rober I have talk to darryl stephens about it he said he would like to reboot it but with a younger cast.
Zyion Pittman are they still on youtube? i can’t find them .
A big thank you from Spain. You are all doing an incredible job in 'Pose'. Congratulations! 💘
Angel is so gorgeous ugh
I’m a straight Black woman and I LOVE POSE! It reminded me of some of my friends growing up! Pray Tell (Billy Porter) is my favorite character! ❤️
Some of the comments on this have me crying tears of joy. Representation is so, so important. Pose is so important.
I am soo glad to have this full discussion up. The edited version was just as impactful, but one of my favorite pieces of this experience was watching everyone work through the more uncomfortable parts of the questions (like the colorism and HIV sections, for example) together and in a really honest way. Being able to talk about our truths genuinely is crucial to the work--even when they aren't the same truths as other members of our community working hard at change, too.
As a Cis-hetero woman this show moved me so deeply. This was my first glimpse into the ballroom/houses/ and lifestyle of the Trans-POC community. This show and all the actors in it are incredible. There were so many moments that made me ugly cry for the struggles they endure. The themes of hope, perseverance, and self expression through the support of chosen family and community were soulfully woven into the series. I hold tremendous respect for these actors courage and artistic ability. The world needs less focus on what separates and more focus on what makes us human. We all want to feel loved and accepted as we are.

My favorite show..but Indya Moore went on and on and on...sheesh...I still love this round table
I'm glad somebody said it...India like to hear herself be deep.
I appreciate how she called forward the young man who had a question who was about to get passed up.
@@blessedgrateful3669 Yeah but much like the Drag Music panel...he didn't really ask a question lol. That was nice tho. But same time, India should try to not be so intense.
Everyone on that panel made me feel like i was watching the REAL version of the 70's cartoon, Superfriends. They complimented each other so much, including the interviewer. I'm so happy and thankful to have experienced this gathering of amazing people. Thank-you for making and sharing this interview!
They are all SO inspiring!
Colorism is the discrimination or prejudice of people based on their skin complexion and the Europeanized standard of beauty. A rainbow is not beautiful because its one color; light is made up of a spectrum of colors; so all colors and complexions are beautiful and that’s what we have to KNOW!
I love Pose and all the actors...they are so talented!!
"And the category is" ....love that show cast..not only entertaining but real
I love that...yes, there are so many children that are told that they cannot do something by their "peers" and it is wrong! I know that all children should be seen as humans, no matter what you were made to be...we need to accept and love each other!!
They should have a Trans Man on Pose.
I think one of the policeman at burned nail salon was trans man
YES!!!!
Laith Ashely was on Season one. That was the episode where Praytell read all the children in the House of Evangelista
I’d like that but I feel that it would be forced just because is trans. The storyline is about Underground ballroom dancing as trans female were key and true to that movement.
@@juniorjimenez6381 I get what you're saying but I feel like a trans man would definitely feel comfortable and accepted in that environment... So I don't think it'd be too far fetched. Or maybe not, maybe I'm way off. Idk.
I see colour, all the beautiful colours of human beings. Also, skin is biological, the darker it is, the stronger it is at protecting you from the elements of nature.
Sonja Dawn stahp it i’m crying 💜
Dang Sonja! Preach it! You rule!
**snaps**
Wowww, so much wisdom and information being shared on that stage! What an awesome panel. I honestly feel like this type of discussion should be shared ......widely! Great job 👏👏👏
I am in love with this show. Through watching this show I have learned so much about their community and the struggles they face each day.
Papi is fine as hell, lmao IDK how angel could be on set with him and not constantly be wet.
Angel is absolutely gorgeous, beautiful woman. Papi reminds me of Christopher from the Sopranos.
Papiiiii 😛😛😛😛. This show is very educational..... Like I may not fully relate but I just hope people learn from it....
I was confused when you said that. Because Papi’s actor is called Angel, but you pronounce it differently 😅
^^^^^^^ and in continuation of that lmao I dunno how Indya keeps their temper on lock cause I bet Indya and Angel must have gotten confused for each other at least a million times by the press lmao. I just came off realizing Angel was Angel B Curiel that Jayce (the panel's host, Jayce) was adressing at the 17:55 mark lmao and correcting myself at ooonce lmao
.. what tf
It’s funny Dyllon said ‘The Bodyguard’ and he looks like the boy who played Fletcher
when indya said “hold ouuunn” 😂
yes Indya talked the most but she SPOKE!
I love all of them but Indya is my girl!!!!!!💗💗💗
I love the intelligence in this room. People who know who they are.
Gunalchéesh for speaking your truths♥️.
Daily mantra- Decolonize self, lift non-binary voices, smash the patriarchy👊🏾✊🏾, lead with love♥️.
Our family sends all of you love and light❣️
Lulu is BAE ♥️😍😍😍😍
As a straight black woman, I’m obsessed with this show and the LGBT culture! I went to San Francisco many years ago and it opened my eyes to other people and cultures that I would’ve never known before. Seeing more stories with ppl in the LGBT community living them for real is important. Hailie and Indya are radiant lights!!! MJ is the heart and soul of Pose! All these kids are brilliant actors leading a show for the first time, so groundbreaking indeed!
Pose is the most beautiful series I've ever seen.
Yes the whole cast members are gorgeous
Very intelligent people! I can’t get enough of it! I love “Pose!”
"I'm not always something enough because no one knows what I am."
PREACH GIRL 🙌🙌🙌
I’m so happy we get to see and hear such conversations in the front page.
Los amo!
4:50 is Marco delrossi not Mario but yesss
Yerrr Banks that bitch butchered my baby name Marco 😡😡🤦♂️
I was so confused I was like wait ...mario????? Who the hell was mario on degrassi. You mean Marco?
Lmao when she said Mario i was thinking of the singer i was like ... was he ever on Degrassi and when did he play queer 😂
Thank you!!! Lol
Yesss bitch I was looking for someone to comment
The first time I became aware of Indya and MJ was in a movie musical called Saturday Church. Definitely check it out if you haven't seen it
YOU SURE YOU WANNA HEAR ME TALK? LOL
LAWD LOL
I love this cast! What a gorgeously intelligent, compassionate and just simply extraordinary bunch of people. Whoever did the casting must be deeply intuitive or at the very least hip to humans , because I can't imagine anyone else in these roles or better representatives of the LGBTQ community. I am not a person of color or L, G, B, T or Q but I relate to these people and their characters so well.
A very substantive and phenomenal discussion! Touched on a topic that needs to be discussed more which is colorism . What a terrific group of actors!!!❤️❤️
FINALLY. THANK YOUUUUU💕💕💕💕💕
The first time I saw my self was Kid ( Rahsaan Patterson) Kids incorporated.. I was 5
This show and the actors are FIRE!! More of this entertainment and teaching moments on celluloid.
I am truly enjoying each and everyone in this cast. Everyone is so talented and so beautiful. Ricky blew me away in drag, so adorable and I want those pink heels he wore, lol!
Great Interview and one of the best cast in the world.
One of the best shows I have ever watched
Great conversation, great points
Love the whole cast on Pose
everyone is stunning and brilliant... when I see this I am hopeful for our future!
When Hailie said Ariel was a role model for her a lot of times got me and legit saaammee
This panel was phenomenal. More of this!
I think that was so interesting and inspiring, i'm a young, white, gay male and i think it's true the message i've took away today... if only we could all love and acknowledge EVERYONE i think the world would be a lovely place, and even though this was a LONG talk to listen whilst i don't have a voice to speak- i thought it was so educational and lovely just to sit and listen. Great show i loveeee it and the cast are so inspirational.
Did they mean Marco...cause I am over her racking my brain going through the Degrassi Serials in my head.
I'm so proud of each and every one of them! But, the interviewer got to go; poor interviewing skills. How you ask a question, but don't give everyone an opportunity to answer?
I miss pose so much. Please come back on soon.
"And the category is..."
Worrrrrrrkkkkkkk......liiiiiiiiveeeeeee....poooooooseeeeee
💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯 Really, really enjoyed this interview. So many good nuggets here.
As a gay person who has dealt with bias and not being included, I really did feel like Angel (Lil Papi) was looked at as not being as important to the conversation by the interviewer. Thats the exact mindset toward ANYONE that we're all fighting against. So that bothered me. Anyways I love this show and these people
I love these Gals. Such talent 😍
As a heterosexual, and a brother to a beautiful brother who is gay and a fucking killer Drag Queen, this show needed to happen to our society. I never understood why no one accepted my brother until I got older. As a family of color, he gets it hard the most from our family and living community. This show deserves everything, actors and actresses as well. If no one understands, watch this show, support the community and get educated.
Much love to all of these young trailblazers ♥
I love Pose & this Phenomenal Cast.
# Changingthestigma
Beautiful discussion as a 50 yo. I see progress in our world. I love you sisters and brothers from a cis latina hetero.
To all actors and actresses on Pose,I love you all. Where's Billy I've fallen for him, sexy beast.😍🥰
OMG this show is amazing im also a straight male and i must say this made me respect gay and trans people so much more it takes courage to be who you really are inspite of what others think. I can't wait to see season 3 this show is really inspirational.
marco!!!
Awesome Pride Summit...
As a cis-gendered woman, I have always supported the LGBTQ community. If you allow discrimination with one segment of the population, it will permeate the rest. This show shines a light on this disparity. It shines the light where the discrimination starts ... at home ... where one is supposed to feel safe.
This is wonderful, pose is so necessary 💜💜💜
I wish they didn't dance around the colorism issue but i still love them.
Indy seemed as the only one to address it head on
ThePaul641 agreed!
They were suppose to talk shit about the show they all work on? That's a question for the writers and producers not the actors.
Fine Ass Ricky grew up in the Church and was told he could not serve in ministry because he told his Pastor that he was attracted to men.
I love them all!!
