- A celebration of one of television’s truly groundbreaking series features cast members Billy Porter, Mj Rodriguez, Indya Moore, and Dominique Jackson, along with creator Steven Canals and episode director Janet Mock. Cocreator and executive producer Ryan Murphy serves as moderator for this passionate and often inspiring discussion on the importance this program holds in giving a voice to the gender nonconforming community.
I love how when Indya Moore is speaking about how the role of Angel was challenging to them because of their experience as a sex worker, and the room is completely silent, still, and engaged, then Ryan Murphy interrupts her to ask about another actor they admire. And they answer, but they say, ACTUALLY I wanted to keep talking about this. I love the confidence and not letting him detour the conversation around something very important.
I hate Ryan. Love his work. I love his show like Pose but him as a person I hate.
Indya, however, are the best❤❤ Love them!!
@@rinmartell2678 why do you hate him? Is he bad?
Rin he just saw the sadness to Indya and wanted to get out of the topic he doesn't mean any ill.
I love Indya. As an autistic woman in her late 40s, who took this long to embrace all that i am, i look at this person who's so very young and so very together and i'm awed. What a star.
“It’s easy to be who you are, if what you are is popular...”
Speaker: “As our BELOVED ANGEL, please welcome *Indya Moore*”

❤️❤️
Me too 😂😂😂😫😍😍
She was under whelming. I was disappointed
Was she high on something 🤔
It got renewed for a season 3 I'm so excited
And 4.
Just read that there are some delays because of COV19 and limitations with social distancing, esp. with the ballroom scenes.
I hope that they have begun filming again. Pose is my latest obsession. I can’t wait for season three.
I can’t wait to see what comes next! I’m worried about Blanca & Pray Tells health as well as Elektra and that dead guy: Cannot👏Fucking👏Wait👏!!!!
Abhay Suji yeah they started shooting season 3 but had to stop due to covid 19
Dominique exudes poise and grace. She's so beautiful!
Just gorgeous!! And I love her voice
When Dominique puts her arm around Indya at 33:32 to support them, so beautiful
Indya Moore deserves a standing ovation for that beautiful and unrelenting answer
I just love Billy Porter energy 🤣🤣🤣
Nica H
Yaaaas!
Isnt he the best?? I love him 😊.
finally love a gay show that seems real. Projects compassion in people. the comments about angel are coming from people with no compassion. It takes a lot of courage to go thru all that and speak about it. you go gurl.
Very well put Gabriel! :)
This show opened my eyes to so much and I'm thankful...
Lady MJ needs alot more roles...she is the heart of Pose.
Indya Moore seems so sad...It feels like they have a lot of emotions to process. This forum may not have been the best place for them to start 'unpacking' their truth.
Miss T something definitely seems off it looks like they are about to cry the whole time :/ completely understandable tho
She seems very raw and then too she is very young.
Indya has hooded eyes. Hooded eyes are commonly referred to as bedroom eyes. I have them also. They can look sexy or sad depending on the situation.
Indya's pronouns are they/them btw! But yeah I noticed that when Billy was talking. I feel like that's just their natural demeanor.
@@Leo-ch2qy thanks!
POSE pulled me thru a very dark space. I was able to enjoy the show ( season one & two ) with those that helped push me which made it that much more of an inspiration. Thank you, for not letting this amazing idea stop at just an idea! Can't wait for season 3.
im glad to hear that. I also cant wait for season three!!! so good!!
Nathaniel Velas I just Google searched the next season of POSE today. Of course with COVID they had to hault filming the new series. On the brighter side, Billy Porter is directing season 3.
Christian Jackson they also got the green light for a season 4!!!! 🙌🏾
It had me crying a lot because my eyes were opened to another culture I knew little about. It definitely makes you more compassionate. I love the show and the positive light it reflects. Looking forward to Season 3
The more I listen to these people the more I love this show. We need exemples to learn about courage and respect in this crazy world. I wish there would be more shows about the real life and problems of our society.
*It’s important to not allow people to come into our life and question our magic.*
Listening to Billy gives me so much strength. His experience with rejection and exasultaion is so beautifully spoken. He is really a wonderful example of you can be who you set yourself to be.
i love Indya Moore and I love how strong they are for taking on such a character that forced them to revisit their past.
I love that Indya Moore got to finish speaking.
I love indya ,calmy listening and accepting the experience of her seniors.
I fell in love with Billy even more after this..
I didn't know Blanca has this much confidence in her ,love the way she carry herself ,suchh AAA beautiful cast ....
I literally don't know how I completed watching it weeping and crying.
Ryan Murphy is literally one of the most amazing people in Hollywood
Loved Bette and Joan, AHS, Hollywood, Pose.
a rare white cis ally
@@jenuebhepigkn2758 I believe he's gay.
Yet Ahs has gone to shit...
@@Prince_the_One he can be all of that together though
*My wife and I are addicted to this show!!*
I have never watched a show, and cried EVERY EPISODE! Every flipping episode of both seasons made me cry like- wut. It’s just such a beautiful show. I wish sometimes I could dance in ballroom- but I’m a straight cis woman 😪
There are SO many cis gendered women in ballroom, you’re more than welcome
Shamarke Ismail ✌🏾❤️👍🏾🕺🏾💃🏾❤️
Shamarke Ismail Ooo yaaay!! 😄😄
I had me so emotional
I absolutely love Pose!! It’s a groundbreaking and much needed show that was right on time! Very powerful, educational, and fun and larger than life show
You're on point!
I need season 3 ASAP!!!
Yeeeezzzzzzzzzzzz
The way Indya is speaking, they definitely are experiencing PTSD in the moment. I have it too, they could also be splitting so they can tell the story
One of the painful things about watching Pose is... not being able to find the words to convey how very deeply touched and moved and inspired I am by this show. I absolutely love it!
What I got from this is..............
Billy Porter is just loud and extra period 😂
Daniella A. Gurrrl yasssss he is definitely got to be ADHD 😂 but he got a cute husband😉
i just want to hug indya
i love dominique jackson so much!! all the people involved are great tho. love this show!!
*Season 3 & 4 has been approved!! Yessssssss queen!!!*
Season 3 it ends. Stop the false narrative
@@jacknina6325 the original comment was year ago friend, peace and one love ✌🏾❤️
Who needs church when you have Billy Porter?
I saw this and it had me GEEKED. Billy is so talented in every facet of the word and he deserves so much more hype tbh.
Hiko Mitsuzuka Amen
grace bangura
I agree. He is extremely talented!
Brave people, great actors. I love Pose!
Billy porter is my spirit animal. He is so deserving of all the success he has been given. I just want to hug Indyia. Such a sweet spirit and what a beauty. Pose has been so insightful for me.
Wow. Just wow. I discovered Pose quite by accident, and have binge watched it now to season 3 episode 4. I was born and raised in Manhattan, and somehow survived while burying far too many, so this snapshot of NYC in the 80s is very precious to me in ways I'm not even sure I can adequately articulate. I've known every cast member intimately, and buried them all. This magnificent piece by the magnificent Ryan Murphy has had me weeping hard, laughing hard, and making me feel less guilty for staying HIV- through the worst pandemic that 40 years later, has STILL not gotten the care and attention it deserves. Ryan Murphy--if ever we had a voice in the media representing us and our journey in an accurate, loving and fair manner, you are that voice. I can't possibly express my gratitude adequately enough. Thank you so fu*king much!!
This 2nd season was so good! I cried every episode. Please let season 3 make it!! It was STRUGGLE, PAIN, LOVE, FUN, ENTERTAINMENT and PASSION!!! I love every character! Especially Blanca's LOVE AND ElecKra's RICH BLACK PRIVILEGE MENTALITY!!! GREAT SHOW👋👋👋👋👋 I SAID THE WRITER'S AND PRODUCERS NEEDED TO GET ACKNOWLEDGMENT FOR THEIR WORK!!!
Absolute amazing inspirational Show. Such a vehicle and a voice not only for the LGBTQ community but for all human beings
Indya is the true definition of a soul equally as beautiful as it's shell. Indya is as real as they come. I love the rawness and honesty of what they had to say.
These stories are so many of our stories. Thank God for new opportunities and the pioneers that created them! 🌈💜
Billy Porter is EVERYTHING!!
Every time you blink someone either dying or getting their heartbroken this is TEW MUCH. Luv the show tho😘
Barbie Milf lol so true 🤕
Tew much? Did go to school?
Barbie Milf Tew ... is a slang .
@@Starr_888 Did YOU?
I love this show! I have learn so much from this show, the life i never knew about, Thank you! Great job! Please don't stop the episodes. I look forward for more.
What a perfect end to this heartfelt interview sumed it all up. Success is when opportunity and preperartion met. AND IF it comes and YOU ARE NOT ready. YOUR GOIN TO GAG 😂! Love Billie and the cast and everyone that gave birth to this wonderful masterpiece of a show. I only had two wishes throughout the whole thing. I wished that AJ would of been the second or third to speak because than she would of understood the pace of how much she can talk, I feel like she had a lot more to say that day. AND!!! I wish someone would of just went two seconds, Indya!! what else did you want to say baby!!! She was in the moment :( Apart from that. WOW I felt like I was watching a Michael Jackson Interview where you are so pulled in the whole world stops. Thank you. xoxo
An amazing and beautiful show! I'm so impressed with the entire cast. Inspirational and about time these stories get into mainstream media. Thank you all for making it happen!
Dominique would be the perfect person to play Storm
YES!!!!!!!!
Amen
Oh hell yeah Ak Mamat.
Or the new Cruella DeVille!
Every single one of these characters are amazingly strong and so talented. This show is necessary and so refreshing to see. Cannot wait to see what’s next!❤️
I've just finished rewatching both seasons and I just love these moments of synchronicity like when the "vogue" single of Madonna drops in the tv show and they are so excited and hopeful because the ballroom culture is finally going mainstream and off screen there's a paralel because the show is bringing the spotlight to all these beautiful faces and stories on television, at the oscars and everywhere else paving the way for the next generation of lgbtq people of every color. This happened because a lot of people fought hard for their community for example Steven Canals pitched the show 100 times and paved the way just like their ancestors in ballroom. The original Pray Tell and all of the real ones who are being portraid in this show would have been so proud...! Can't wait for season 3
Omg i love this Series. I have family and friends in my family. Watching this series has really helped me see and understand more. Keep up the good work. Season 3 please. Pray Tell reminds me so much of my best friend. Much love to you all.
the most amazing artists i've ever seen come together! ! ! so much love for Ryan and Pose
Never fallen in love with a series this strongly before, the actors and directors did an amazing job, I'll definitely be watching it over and over
Season 3 PLEASE!!! I can hardly wait.
Can we talk bout how good Elektra look 😳🤧
So much strength on that stage! Your voice is powerful!
I LOVE THIS SHOW. Getting to know the cast makes me love it even more!
I Love Love Love this show. I have no words for it but it came out at the right time. Everyone needs this show.
Pose is an incredibly beautiful portrayal of a life less known. Indya you are an Angel through and through and your family is a family we would all want to be a part of. This is a story about love and it will empower and lift the hearts of so many.
Elektra!!!! Baby I love her !!!!!! Indya Moore man she hits different everytime she talks I can feel how sad or hurt she is I love how she’s so brutally honest about her past
As an out and proud gay man, this show has done things for my confidence I didnt know was possible. I've always felt connected and supported by my community, and again this show has enhanced that and has strengthened it. Much love to this entire show!
I’m so excited for the new season, I keep binge watching season 1 & 2 over again 😂🤦🏾♀️
Ive got four episodes left to finish season 2 and I can’t wait to watch but I’m holding off because I don’t want it to end. I’ll definitely be watching season 1 again after watching this.
Same here girl!!
Beautiful real stories that allowed me to understand this community a little better. Terrifying to know how many young people face homelessness for being themselves and so much hope knowing some of them were welcomed by "mothers" who provided love and support. 40 years on...are these balls still taking place? What is the support for young people facing these challenges?
Billy Porter reminds me so much of my friend. They have that same natural energetic flamboyance. It's like I'm looking at him on this stage 😂
Indya Moore walks in like an angel! 1:22 so perfect it's funny
I fucking love this show! My fiancee turned me on to it, she's black, and transgender, and Pose means a lot to her, and watching it with her made it mean a lot to me. I really applaud the creators for actually using transgender actors to play these characters, and not just casting cis people. I don't think it would have worked, or been near as impactful with cis actors. It has moved us to tears so many times, and I don't cry easily. We can't help but adore Angel, and Papi. Papi is such an awesome guy, and it made us so happy to see Angel get to be with someone who really sees her, and loves her for all that she is. We wish we could have been in the show, like as extra's at Angel, and Papi's wedding, or as attendees at one of the balls, with me being the white guy who looks like the odd man out, but who is having the time of his life getting to share that world with the woman he loves, unlike Stan, who could not overcome his repression. She can relate to so much of it, and I can to to an extent through experiences I've had being with her, and the looks we get from time to time, and the way my family struggled with us at first until they really got to know her, and learned to really accept her as a woman by spending time with her because talking to her, and being around her feels the same as talking to, or being around any cis woman. I'm so excited for season 3, and I really hope we get to see Blanca and Adrian. I want Adrian to show her the respect, and love she deserves as a woman, and that she gets have her own romance like Angel, and Papi.
WONDERFUL show and what a WONDERFUL cast.. you are ALL fantastic!!! Brilliant directing and great writing!! Truly inspirational!!
Season 1 episode 6 was the best episode of POSE so far... It will make u cry like a baby
Excellent excellent talented cast, in an excellent excellent series, can't wait for season 3!!! I literally fell in love with every character in this, I binged watched both season 1 and 2. I am getting ready to watch Pose again. I would love to see Ballroom Culture in the mainstream and mainstream competition.
I think you got your wish. There is suppose to be a show coming...on HBO called " Legendary".
@@LC-uz6em Well if Legendary is anything like this show, I will certainly enjoy it. I definitely would still love to see more of Pose, it literally swept me up, transporting me into a beautiful world that felt like true family, friends, and the best entertainment since I can even ever remember. I understand the premise is about the actual Ballroom Culture which is a totally awesome aspect that completely blew me away, but the characters also touched my heart in such a way that I laughed, cried and found myself rooting for their triumphs right along with them, I want to see more of their journey. When is Legendary starting? I definitely want to see it, I am truly looking forward to seeing it.
I cried through every episode, except for season 2 episode 9. I'm honestly grateful for this series it gave me a better insight of what transsexuals go through. God is Great and i hope they continue to shine bright. No human being should be treated like that i wish i could hug them all and cry with them I love them all. I'm a young female with hopes of becoming an actress on big screen and Broadway and let me tell you they give me aspiration of becoming whatever I want to be. They left an impact on my life with thier stories not just about being accepted by the universe but fight for your rights, fight for your truth and be happy for who you are !
I wish this show would've contributed on!! I truly do, but once "Pray Tell" was written to die, I knew it was really over!
I love Poise and all you actors I’m happy things are starting to change for you all hopefully it continues to go in the right direction You’re beautiful people who deserve to live your life exactly like the rest of the world
One of the greatest shows ever made! I love Billy Porter and fell even more in love with Indya Moore hearing her story! So beautiful, so strong, so inspiring!
I love this series .. Thank you. I love all of them in the series. Especially Billy porter. .😗😗😗😗😗😗😗😗

Where can I find it?
OMG Billy melts my heart....What an actor what a human being 👏
I binged the second season - I just couldn't not watch the next episode.
Not me crying the whole interview!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Great cast
This story needed to be told The actors are wonderful each and everyone of them. I can’t wait for season three
Bravo. Loved show. Loved the cast.
I did not want this to end
Watched all the seasons about a month ago and I loved it 😍 late to the party but it was amazing
I’m in such a dark place right now. After hearing indya speaks makes me feel more compelled to face my demons, defeat them, and step over them bravely.
I Love and Thank you Mr. Reynolds. I first was introduced too you through AHS Freakshow!! Which I LOVED. I just started watching Pose last week (sn: sorry) besides the fact that your AWESOME! But you make your audience fall in love with your characters. Thank you again for teaching me so much about the LGBTQ Family still on season 1 though!!! I truly LOVE THIS SHOW.
Does anyone know when it's going to be back on? I'm sure filming got delayed because of Covid19.
im literally going fucking crazy
@@tonyugarteluna7328 well, umm yes, im feeling a lil less, however, just as anticipated!
they're saying they might delay the filming of the show or there might not be any ballroom scenes in S3 because of covid-19. personally, i rather them just delay the filming because no ballroom scenes??
pretty sure theyre gonna start filming again after everything dies down. they may do more less crowded scenes first just to be safe and then, for example, do ballroom scenes last. they only got 8 days of filming in for s3 and then it was postponed :/
I live for this show and the incredible cast!!! I adore Billy Porter and Ryan Murphy and I grew up in INdy around the same time....one day I hope to be a part of one of his projects....he has the midas touch!!! This entire cast is incredible!!! If you haven't seen MJ do Little Shop of Horrors....google it!!!! She was an amazing Audrey!
finally the world can see such amazing and beautifull and great actors! and great persons! love for you all
Love this show. Amazing cast. Just a really good show. Happy this show exists.
There is something wrong when a story this compelling and interesting is turned down 100s of times. Hollywood has a serious issue with diversity and inclusion.
Indya, just thank you
Wow! Angle seems like she is the same as her character on the show. I like how she's thinking before she speaks
My God!!! Their character in the series fits on real life! Wow!
So many Black people complaining saying they are dismasculating Black men and all that mess. Shit! You have a truly super star Mr. Billy Porter be proud of the talent in your race. If he wears a dress who cares applaud that he is out here making amazing art.
Yayyyy!! I'm so excited!!!
Season 3 pleaaaaassse
Cant wait for season 3 and 4
Ryan Murphy amazing plus cast & everyone involved
This was soo long yet soo entertaining
