This series is important! I think it humanizes the transgender and gay community! I would love to have him address the attack on black transgender women! I think, often times then not, the black LGBTQ community hardly ever, to the same degree, benefit from LGBTQ rights!

These actors always have to go with the flow no matter what they believe in. Ryan is making them faces of his beliefs when for all we know, they are probably just happy to have been casted for the show.

I just got done binge watching both seasons of Pose. I absolutely cannot wait for season 3, loved loved loved this, I am getting ready to start on season 1 again, please hurry up with season 3. Please keep the characters that were diagnosed alive, please write in the newer medications that are keeping people alive in real life. I love everyone in the cast of Pose, I want to see more of Bianca, Pray, and Ricky as well as all of the main characters in the future seasons. Keep on fighting this wonderful fight. I fell in love with this series and the extremely talented cast.

Mr. Ryan I can't thank you enough for your wonderful series. My brother, sister & I moved to NYC from PGH in 1982. We are all Member of the gay community and creatively blessed. My brother was touched by the fashion bug and want the influence of the NYC style to further enhance his journey in the fashion industry. My Sister was college bound and went to City College to study theater and well I just want to be in a city that provided everything that a young women of hope and promise could provide. My brother often hung out at the pier and would come home and tell my sister and I the adventures and many charter that he encountered in his evenings. Unfortunately, he was stricken ill and passed away in 1986. Needless to say your series bring back a time of joy and laughter that was experienced via my brothers vividly narrative expose. The charters in your series are the same charters as described via my brothers encounters. He was so happy and joyful and his experiences of this time gave him a zest of life that I will always cherish and remember.
I am sorry for your loss. Clearly your brother's spirit and others are in this show.

You guys in the comments say.., how Murphy is a hypocrite for sayin how he’s being intolerant with heterosexuals but you have to really hear what some of y’all say.... you’re saying you’re tolerating us... not accepting... tolerating. So why is it bad that we’re tolerating your bs beliefs and or in-tolerating it. How would you feel if every single day of your life you have to hear the same thing of how it’s wrong to be who you are and it’s true hate and all this stuff is driving young teens to suicide... even younger than teens. How does it feel to drive a minor/ child to killing them selves. Every LGBT and including me have contemplated on suicide or some even did attempt it... and it’s true it is because of the hate. Some feel they’d rather die and be taken off this earth than to live life and be happy someday and get married... so what’s wrong with being against the current. Standing up for ourselves... it’s like you tolerate it when we’re killed and beaten to death and commit suicide. Most of which everyone just looks away and act like everything is fine but when we actually stand up and say NO we’re being anti-straight and hateful, it’s not that baby it’s time to say enough is enough. So many of us are dying and it’s SO heartbreaking how you don’t even care. So what Murphy said was actually good because we’re not gonna let one person control such a huge group in our states.. we will have more rights and I’m sorry it disgusts you that we will have the same rights that you don’t even know you have but this is just the beginning honey.
I couldn't agree more. The LGBTQ community for FAR too long has had to deal with the hatred and bigotry in so many facets of life. I salute you Juan because in the 80's I was a gay boy with a lover and watched as many of my friends were beat up for who they are. I lost that lover in the 90's to AIDS and it crushed me. I have always supported the LGBTQ community in any way that I have and even though I am now married to a woman... I have STILL donned my leathers, walked in many types of weather, and embraced my LGBTQ brothers and sisters. No more hate, no more bigotry and please support equality for EVERYONE!!!

I am hook and love this series. To be honest its not because of lgbt thing its because the real struggle story of us as a person as individual. Its reality of life we have friends close people who will be there and those who will leave. But we love and we care at the end of the day.

Amazing speech! However Dyllon Burnside was creeping me out. He just stood there like a statue the whole time. However I’m just gonna say that as he was walking out he realized he had to take poopie. So his standing there, not moving, barely even smiling is because he was prairie dogging and any sudden movement would’ve caused a “movement.” 😂

It's disappointing that the cast didn't get to talk like Ryan did. Specially because Ryan doesn't have a trans experience nor a black person's experience and the main important conversations Pose influenced, have to do with black trans people and their representation...

Calling out those who put down a whole community is not 'hate'. It is self-protection. We are human beings. Most of us do not wish to cause harm to anyone else, but we will not sit back and watch while people in positions of power put us down and incite hatred toward our community. We will fight back. He is not telling people to cause harm to others with violence. He is asking people to use their democratic right to vote in order to stop hateful people getting into power.
